I told my boss (bitch sometimes) that the doctor had put me on light duty. Two days latter she tells us that she has to go on a buissness trip for SMITT training or whatever. (I have that, why is my BOSS just getting to it?) Anyway, she puts up a notice in the back telling us that we arent allowed to change days off while she is gone and all of that. Problem is she is now using "we" whenever she means she or I. As in, "You must not call in, or we will not be happy. You need the money and cant be broke, we will not tolerate callins". WTF? Ok, so the day after she goes the supervisor puts up the schedule, and she has me on NINE streight days of 5am to 3pm. WTHF? I'm on light duty. 90 hours in a row is not light duty. I work all week then tell them Thursday that I'm not going to be there saturday. The supervisor is ****ed, but it's not like they can fire me right now. Three other people have put in their notice, (new walmart in town, we now have two superwalmarts in a 10 mile radius, and a Sams between them, crazy) So all the people with skills are leaving. The woman the the TCBY next to us is going over to be some manager in the bakery and wants me to come over with her. She's going to start me at 7.50 with a .25 every 6 months. Not to bad. I'm only doing about $250 a week now. I'll get about the same though, no overtime. So when my boss comes back I have a few things for her. I'm going to tell her I want Shiftleader, cause I took over his job when he quit yet I didn't get the raise or shiftleader card (lets me do cool stuff on the PC's) ; I want weekends off all the time, since thats our deal anyway for me opening up through the week so she dosent have to ; I won't work 90 hours a week. I work 5-3 Monday through Friday. Thats it. Then when she tells me to kiss her ass I'll quit. Leaving her to open at 5am every day, and nobody who will kiss her ass. The new hireing system they have is bull, (personality test, isn't that illigal anyway?) so nobody is getting hired, 14 new hires took it (burger king, starbucks, TCBY and Tudors) only one passed it and the rest never were called back. The funny thing is that the one person that passed it failed the drug test. She needs three right now, just in starbucks. |

Mabie I can get her a cushy job at walmart. I'm going to miss being with them everyday. Were a good team. Our regulars call us the "Starbucks dream team" ****ty title, but funny as hell. I'm going to realy miss Beth. Mabie it's not to bad and I can stay for a bit longer.............. |
