RE: Yay.

'So all the people with skills are leaving.'

That might be the funniest thing you have ever said here. oh wait, there is this one too.

'Our regulars call us the "Starbucks dream team"'

Somehow I find that hard to believe. Are you sure sure they aren't saying 'Just pour us the goddamn coffee and shut the hell up!'?

RE: Yay.

What's your email and website, Dragonmaster? I'm not going to bother digging for stories/URL's in old posts, I don't have that kind of time.

RE: Yay.

I never left Dragonmaster. I have probably just been posting more with GirlUWant on the new site. Between that and inverviewing for a WalMart greeter (I'm on my fifth inverview so I have high hopes) I haven't had as much time to respond. At 7.25 an hour I think I am going to need a lot more than one of those jobs though.

"I don't have that kind of time."

In the long run it would probably save you a lot of time and headache to go look at old posts.

Jay - Seriously, it is an on-going redundant saga, so you could pretty much just go back and read a few long threads that are based on Dragonmaster and you'll get it...it is like Brady Bunch re-runs...it just never goes away. Everyone has seen Jan not wear her glasses and run into the picture that everyone had taken together like 50 times, but they still keep playing them...

RE: Yay.

Mr Cranky - I don't think greeters at Wal-Mart make $7.25 an hour! They aren't going to offer you that much ! Sadly, I'm thinking that you are looking at $6.25 an hour, TOPS for starting pay...LOL!

Did you wear your nice shoes for the interviews?

RE: Yay.

Ok Jay, I shouldent do this. But what the hell.

Girl I know since I was a little kid moves, we keep in touch the whole time. She comes back to see a friend for summer break, we hook up durring that summer. She goes back to finish school there. Durring my last year of highschool (she had just graduated a year earlier) she calls and says she's coming back and wants to see if I still want to get together. We are going to move in together and get married between our birthdays. On the way back home her car gets hit by a truck 50 miles from my house and dies. I didn't even know for a week, I called her friends and only one of them knew. I don't even know where she is buried.

RE: Yay.

Look, for all I know she's ok and still in Florida and this was just a way for her to break up. I tried to get some info but cant find it. Even in the local newspapers arcives. Nothing about a truch hitting a car anywhere near the date it happend.

I'm just going to drop it now. Either she realy is dead or she did this to me knowing what it would do, meaning the person I knew is gone. Either way, I'm moving on. It's just eating at me and keeping me from seeing whats right in front of me.

I didn't wear any shoes. I thought that would strenghten my interviews. $6.50 an hour? Hmmm...I am going to need a lot of clones.

RE: Yay.

This is the first I have ever heard that she possibly didn't really die! Have you ever mentioned that before? That would really suck if it is just some made up crap by her.

I had a best friend that actually did die, and I still miss her badly, but I have learned to move on. I had a friend from grade school that moved away and I have seen her name on anywho.com but I just haven't wanted to pay 20 bucks to see if it is really her, but I might someday. I have always wondered about her through the years.

Do you know how to contact her parents or anybody, because you need closure and that really bugs me that someone would do that to you. You deserve to know the truth, the whole truth. If she doesn't want to see you, but is still alive, then you need to respect that if you find out. I would pursue finding the truth. Plus, you keep hating the coal truck people and they might not have even done anything.

RE: Yay.

Mr Cranky - Just think how much fun you could have working at Wal-Mart. People could ask you where to find stuff and you could give them completely bogus directions so they would be wandering through the aisles for hours.

You could put a cup of water beyond the six-feet long floor mats and watch old ladies fall.

You could soup up the engines in those motor-buggies so that they end up doing 50 mph down the aisles straight into the jars of pickles. Crash! Then that dude you don't like would have to clean up the spill!

You could tell kids that the bathroom is at the back of the store when it is really at the front!

You could say "Welcome to Wal-Mart. Have a nice ****ing day!"

RE: Yay.

That's a very sad story. If you've known her for that long, how hard could it be to find someone else that knew her? You grew up together. You could talk to the friend that told you this news in the first place. If you guys talked over the phone, couldn't you have called her parents to confirm what happened? When the friend told you she died, why didn't you get some information from her, like where the funeral was, etc. And if that friend had denied you the information that it seems like you would have asked for, wouldn't you have been immediately suspicious? Just curious - I'm sure you have your reasons. Anyway... sorry about your loss.

RE: Yay.

Her friends here get mad when I bring it up. They just won't talk about it at all. I just started looking a few weeks ago, I'm convinced I'd seen her at the mall and Jade was there all wierded out when I said hi to her. Didn't conect untill I'd thought I'd seen her leaving Spencers. If I do find out she's alive I'll send her a short letter, mabie, and drop it. The person I knew is gone anyway. I do realise about the drivers. I still have a major beef with Massy coal. Mountain top removal is always going to be a bad thing. This way creates more polution, less jobs, and apparently Bush isn't going to rest untill the mountain state looks like Texas.

I didn't ask questions at the time. Other things on my mind I guess.

Look, it's been a great help talking about it. But I'm going to stop. It's not going to get me anywear, and it's about time I got over it. I've got other people in my life now, and things are finaly starting to go where I want them, for the first time in my life (other than my health, but all in good time)
