Unfortunately, by the age of 22, I was already on my second marriage because I got married the first time just three wekks shy of being twenty because I moved too fast in a relationship and got all caught up in having a wedding and blah, blah, thought I was in love and stuff and to be honest, wanted to have sex and I wasn't comfortable with just having sex openly because of how my parents were. I was having sex, but just behind their back, adn I ended up feeling guilty so I got married. After that, I was like, crap, what have I done and I was only married for a year and then I ended up doing the same dumb thing again and was in a super crappy marriage for 16 years, I think... What I wish that I would have done, was dated way more people and realized that leaving and moving on is the way it works. You date someone and see that they aren't the right one and then you try another and get closer to what works for you, and each time you get closer to the target and can find the right person for you. I know that you have been devistated in the past,and maybe even totally crapped on if that was a faked death, which I still hope for you that you find the truth on that one. I had my heart broken in high school and I think that had something to do with my poor choices as a young adult because it felt so horrible to experience that much hurt so young. It took me about five years into my second marriage to get over my high school sweetie. Now that I have been single for three years, I have had one boyfriend of any length, and we had a great time, but it did end, and at first I was very hurt, but he wasn't the right one for me, and then I dated another guy for like a month and I totally knew he wasn't the one. I went out with the much younger man in February just once and knew immediately, that he wasn't the one. I had a date last night with an older guy, 10 years my senior, and he was pretty cool. He is a lot like my dad, which is a two-thumbs up for him! James - that is just the way it is, and if you get into a relationship and expect too much of it, too soon, you are setting yourself up to get hurt, but if you desire to spend your life as a married person, and have a good marriage, then you owe it to yourself to be open to being hurt to find the right one, but there are right and wrong ways of ending up married. |

I'm almost ready to settle for that crazy girl I work with that's been after me since highschool......, oh, on that note, my scanner is up and as soon as I get time I'll put some picts up on some site of my house, cats, and the friends that poasted here once or twice. Thanks again for the pep talk. Now off to my doctor opointment. |

On the surface he plays the pity card but under the surface he has a very large ego. He truly believes other people are interested in every detail of his life and that he is a celebrity of sorts. When someone does not accept his fantasy world as reality, he gets upset and that person becomes an 'asshole'. No doubt this carries over into his daily life. He uses the claim of being picky and not wanting just anyone as a cover for the truth that girls aren't interested in him. His comment that he is almost ready to go with the 'crazy girl' shows that he is not all that picky and it is bothering him. Realistically though, once a person is in their early twenties, they are the person they will be for life and odds are very slim he will change enough to not drive a normal girl bat**** insane. |

That's why I can't stand all those religious people that try and say sex outside of marriage is a sin. Bull****! Sex is the absolute most natural human instinct. There is nothing wrong with having sex. Telling kids they have to be married to have sex only leads to many 18-20 year olds getting married. A hell of a mistake, as you well know.
