| Posted By: superfly Posted On: Aug 2, 2005 Views: 400 | RE: nice to see some U2 haters spin just did a power list of music acts, rating their influence and affect on the music market. one of the categories was earnings (avg of last 3 years). you had all the expected ones there (beatles, u2, etc) but the hip hop market was extensively represented. the names got pretty obscure (didn't recognize half of them) but even those ones were pulling in 20 million a year. eminem topped the hip hoppers with a cool 62 million in 2004. as believeble as any magazine poll is, i'm sure the real figure is still pretty impressive. way beyond 50k anyway. |

And to see the love-fest that was their "home-coming" concerts in Dublin recently where almost 1 million people went to a stadium (over 3 nights) to see if they suck Bone-o & co off...enough to make you puke!! Still, didnt stop me from accepting free tickets!! Free stuff is free stuff, simple as!! |
