(apart from those helped out by people with a spark of regard for others - good for them!)Someone should have considered that everywhere has old peoples homes and the reason many of them are there is because they are incapabale of living on their own, so what are the chances they can get a car and drive out of the city then!! THINK PEOPLE!!! someone is to blame about that and other incidents like that. (tiny other point, we have schools in this city.....not really any school buses though, we take the tube!!) |

I can see in a way where you're coming from with the idea that old people are of less concern than others. But think about it, telling people to evacuate takes like 2 minutes and then those that can go do. So maybe they should have thought that instead of dealing with some personal business in a coruppt manner, they could have spent more than two minutes on helping those that actually needed help! Those who could evacuate didn't do so with the help of the government they got in cars and stuff and took initiative. Government should have been prepared to spend a little time on those who needed time spent on them...the govt. clearly wasn't doing anything else with the time the saved not helping people. |

In the time when they had nothing to do they could have though of some other things that needed help... |
