About a month ago, this man called to talk to my boss, but my boss wasn't in. We struck up a conversation that became kind of flirty, and I sensed a "vibe" there. He called back the next day, and my boss still wasn't there. He commented that I was so funny the day before. I could just tell there was maybe something there, which was weird because I don't normally get flirty like that with strangers that just call the office to talk to my boss. One of the girls that I work with suggested that I call him, and I was like, no, not going there, but I finally broke down and called him on my cell phone and told him that I was calling him on my personal cell phone number. He was like, cool, I'll definitely call you. He did call me back that day and we talked for awhile. I didn't hear from him again for like three weeks, so I was like, crap, I guess he wasn't interested. On Monday, I found an excuse to call him and ask him advice about an IT person since we have moved to a different city. He called me on Tuesday, and we talked for like 20 minutes and he asked me if I would like to go to lunch sometime. I was like, SURE, but we didn't set a specific date. He told me he was writing down which days I work here (I work two days a week at home) and it was left at that. Now it is Friday, and I haven't heard back from him, which I thought that I would... So...once again, men are so confusing...it wasn't like I starting the flirting to begin with, because it was him, and he was the one that totally came up with the lunch thing...but why hasn't he called? I think that guy was right - Men really are from Mars! Anyway - you could always flirt with women that you meet on the elevator, or strike up conversations with women in line at McDonalds, the post office, sitting by you at athletic events, etc...just look for the absent wedding band! He probably enjoys the idea that if he really wanted to he could go on a date with you, but it's probably more of a fantasy for him. Plus in his mind you probably look extremely attractive and he might want to keep it that way. |

I talked to a guy that he works with and he told me that he is single and described him as an Italian Stallion, which dude just laughed when I told him that his co-worker described him that way. Now...as far as meeting women, you just comment on something, like if you are in the check-out line and she is buying something that you have never bought before, not tampons though...lol, you could ask her if it is good or something...I totally flirted with this young guy because he was buying four extra-large mondo-sized jars of Mayo! I saw him leaving the parking lot behind me driving a Jaguar. He was buying them for his mother's restaurant, but it was fun talking to him in the line. If you are too shy to approach women, how about match.com and they can contact you too. I haven't done that, nor do I plan to, but one of my friends is engaged to a guy that she met on Match.com, but we also went to high school with him, so she technically already kind of knew him. Let's see, the last four guys that I have gone out with...two I met at church, one I met in a bar, and one I met when I was shopping for a new vehicle. |
