Good for your friend, GUW, but I had a sh**ty experience there myself with Mr. Clingy / Control Freak Man. We hadn't even met yet, just talking over email and phone and I kept getting wierd vibes from him. Like control-ish vibes. When I said I wasn't interested in persuing things, he flipped, and I got a sobbing message about him contemplating his life. Not kidding. Appareantly, I attract the wierdos. But regardless, that one totally soured me on the whole match.com thing. |

I wouldn't ever want to be on Match.com...my friend that is getting married dated three or four guys from there. I prefer the old fashioned way of meeting guys! I actually had a guy ask for my phone number yesterday. I was washing my car at the car wash and he was in the area ahead of me where you vacuum out your car and stuff . He was playing Michael Jackson's PYT on his stereo and so I just had to give him total crap about that! We started talking about general stuff, like we went to the same high school, what church we went to, etc...and after we shook hands and did the "it is nice to meet you" thing...he asked me for my phone number...but after the other guy that on Tuesday asked me if I would like to go to lunch sometime, but hasn't called back again, and then this guy...I don't understand men, and I'm not worrying about if he actually calls because men are confusing...lol |
