To talk to the first person who was at the San Francisco show, I was there and it was amazing. Hearing what you said you probably came into the concert thinking it would suck, preparing for it to suck, and then finding every single reason for it to suck. I did that a little with Jimmy Eat World (who opened for Green Day). I thought it would suck and was really cynical about it, but they were pretty good live. So what if he said San Francisco a bunch of times? He's home and he's pumped. He ran around and did all kinds of crazy s*** that was really awesome. And if you're mad because he played "Shout" and "We Are the Champions" then I don't know what your problem is, cuz those songs are awesome and they're just fun. Like I said, like what you want, but if you don't like Green Day, perhaps you should stop listening to them and get a life rather than just making a thread to let everyone know how much you hate them. And one more thing, to those people who go on about Green Day selling out and how you can't listen to that corporate bulls***, just shut up. If a band makes good music, listen to them. If you had a band with enough fans to go to a major label, you would do it. What do you expect, you want to keep them to yourselves? I'm from the bay area like Green Day, but I don't expect them to just play for us when they have so many more fans. So you guys can shut up too. |
