I believe ginawan lang ng paraan ng family niya na manalo siya dahil everybody thinks he should be the last. Zhel deserves to win the 3rd at least. In the end lumabas ang totoong ugali ni Miguel. Sinisiraan si Laarni tapos sobrang bilib sa sarili eh bonjing naman...walang appeal. Yaks talaga. Medyo nasira ang PDA dito results....Miguel yaks ka! Yabang mo...una siniraan mo si Inaki, tapos nagalit ka kay Bea, then si Laarni. Parang bakla na comment ng comment kapag nakatalikod...Halatang insecure siya...Dapat nga expelled siya... |

Sana si LIEZEL ang naging Grand Star Dreamer.... kasi once you've heard her voice... you'll get easily can tell its hercause her voice's unique... Boses ni Laari very common. Ang dami namang biritera kaya parang pangkaraniwan na lang yung boses nya.... LIEZEL really got a better attitude and better heart over the other scholars.... sya lang ang hindi mayabang cares for other's feelings. Unlike Laarni, siguro may culture shock kasi galing sa magulong mundo ng sultan kudarat kaya parang may attitud problem... and also LIEZEL really needs the prze.... I bet.... mas SISIKAT si LIEZEL because she not only got the talent but a INTERNATIONAL STAR quality. Kaya sobrang sad ako of the result.... sigu kung may say ang judges... based on the performances on that grand dream night... Liezel should've win... Ang dami kayang errors ni laarni... si Bugoy naman slow na yung song... sayaw pa ng sayaw... masyadong over acting. si miguel naman halata na nakuha lang sa yaman ang text votes nya..... I know how to appreciate a show with good quality. I have watched the PDA2 from the very start of its airing until the grand dream night but honestly never watched any single episode of PI. I just merely relied on print and internet blogs based on the reactions of the judges to the contestants and most especially, the viewers. We know that PDA2s rival PI was concluded first. But I am wondering it seems PI winners are not existing anymore. And we know for a fact that its been a month that PI was over. Is it because the grand winner is not deserving? Or maybe they were preparing themselves or they were just so so as according to viewers? I am not unfair as Ive said but as far as publicity is concern, both print and internet blogs (pep.ph, starmometer.com, mukamo.com, tagpuan.com, showbizjice.com etc.), I seldom read news about PI winners after the conclusion of the grand finals. How far have they gone after they won. As to PDA2, its impact to the viewers is noticeable and talk of the town (both print and internet blogs). Maybe because the grand dream night has just freshly concluded. So, we need to wait also for a month if its great impact to viewers will be sustained. Blogs conducted polls to know who will be called the 2nd Grand Star Dreamer and also if the winners really deserves to be the winners after the conclusion of the grand night and the results both agrees with the final results last Sunday. As to PI, the results of the grand finals contradicts the results of the polls conducted by these blogs in the internet. If we are going to compare PDA2 and PI, based on its public acceptance, talent and personality, responses to blogs, I would go for PDA2. How about you? |

Pinakatalented...Ang boses niya hindi lang pang soul rnb, pwede siya sa lahat, mapamataas, mapamababa, mapamabilis etc. kaya niya. 2. Pinakagusto ng tao, kita nyo naman sa text votes simula palang nung una, daig daigan niya ang lahat. Bakit kailangang kwestyonin ng iba. Pero sana ganito ang line up nang nanalo Laarni, bugoy, liezl - sila ang pinakadeserving na manalo dahil sila ang may pinakamagandang boses. |

A bit cheesy but hey, this is a free world and free tv isnt too bad. Enough of my justification. I guess this is just being filipino - we love anything that has to do with singing. From American Idol to Philippine eeerr..Pinoy Idol pala (what happened to it? It was such a lousy production and the hosts and the judges? Geez what were they thinking? oh, I can still hear Jolinas winner duh!). I even dig Dont Forget the Lyrics and The Singing Bee. My entire household have been following PDA since season 1 (LOL!). And of course, we have our favorites. For this season, we totally root for Liezel Garcia. Among the scholars, I believe she is the only one who has a sophisticated singing style, sultry voice and unique vocal quality. I agree, others have vocal prowess but uniqueness and marketability, Liezel is a good brand. Although, her strong following may not be as aggressive as that of Laarnis and Bugoys that will catapult her to the title Grand Star Dreamer, Liezel has everything that is a making of a star. After she sang Listen a few performance nights ago, I guess we can already call her the Pinoy Beyonce! Do we text our votes? Nah, we are the silent fans who would rather sit back and enjoy the show. Watch tonight (13 Sep 08) for the performance and tomorrow (14 Sep 08) for the announcement of winners. PDA Season 2 Top 6 Scholars UPDATE: 14 September 2008 - Grand Dream Night Surprises, and more surprises Miguel Mendoza is in the top 3 along with Laarni Losala (now Lozada) and Bugoy Bugayan (now Drilon). Bottom 3 includes Cristina Pastor (6th placer), Van Pojas (5th place, now called Van Roxas) and Liezel Garcia (4th placer). Laarni is the Grand Star Dreamer for PDA Season 2. Bugoy is the 2nd placer while Miguel garnered the 3rd spot. Generally speaking, I feel that PDA Season 1 was better and more exciting than S2. |

Great job also to the Zhel's fans for trying to overtook Miguel's votes but it was not enough, loss by 6000 votes but still you can be a next singing sensation. For me they did their best! It's just only the result, the real thing is in the dreaded industry that they need to survive and almost all will survive till Season 3 of PDA. Great Job and godspeed for PDA3. |
