Wonder if Shanghai will really host a concert (despite JYPE's announcement), as opposed to a gig or another showcase. These scheduled shows also look like one-offs, even if there is to be a Mandarin album to promote. So unlikely any Jobros-type tour. WG also hasn't been there since Jan 2008 -> 19 months ago now. Can they still speak the language, let alone sing translated songs? With the USA album activities, I don't see much time off to revise & prepare for another market. Must say, after rewatching the old YT clips, Yeeun was masterful in speaking Mandarin. Sunye & Sunmi were okay (better than their English), albeit in a scripted way. Sohee spoke like a newscaster, very earnest (singsong-y cute) in her pronunciation (to disguise accent?) Poor Yoobin fared the worst: incomprehensible at times. XD |
