This is only a single poll of one website, but we Wonderfuls have a sense of how big the fan pool is now. The vote canvassing also got loads of mentions in various social media & some entertainment sites, uniting supporters, promoting the girls (& Kpop in general) & hopefully piquing the curiosity of newcomers (eg. a lot of Jobros fans have been googling for WG info after each concert stop, even if they don't eventually convert over). For sure, the voters for the rival groups here now know who the WONDER GIRLS are! Someone also wrote that Jobros got 212,800 ballots in a previous AOTM poll, just beating out Varsity Fanclub by 100. Well, WG is outpolling their COMBINED tallies! The final result is also going to be a record, to be always associated with Musiqtone until some future artiste can beat it. Hopefully someone can also snap a page screenshot at the tailend & tweet it to JYP & the girls (I don't have twitter) as a morale-booster. They've worked incredibly hard these past couple months. |
