Neither is tokio hotel. Not to mention WG has never promoted in europe, and just started promoting in the US. I talked to my friend from NL(netherlands) and he doesn't know tokio hotel either. I even asked him to ask his friends if they knew, none of them do. And I'm from Los Angeles, never heard of TH til this poll. So everything you say about WG applies to TH. TH isn't even popular in its own continent(Europe) while WG is very popular from where they are from(Korea, as well as in other Asian countries) so if you want to talk about worldwide popularity, WG has the upper hand. So quit saying WG isn't known in the US, TH isn't either. Instead, lets talk about it maturely, instead of typing "OMG TH IS THE BEST". I'd like to hear what tokio hotel has accomplished in the US, since I'm unfamiliar with them. I'll start off for WG. WG has performed on So You Think You Can Dance, and was #1 searched on Google during that day. They've entered the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and was a guest on The Wendy Williams Show. Also, they sold more physical singles than ANY OTHER artist in the US, according to Billboard. That's some of what they did in the past recent months, with just ONE song. What has TH done so far in the US? I'm curious since TH fans are claiming they're the best in the world, I'm sure you have your reasons. Lets keep this civil. |

Just because they're "video of the year" doesn't mean anything special. They're not going to have the title forever. It's just a year! CHILL. It's a great title to have but seriously both TH fans and WG fans need to CHILLAX! I am personally a TH fan and i personally never heard of the "Wonder Girls", but seriously TH fans, these girls are new, very new. TH has been here for a while, not long but a while, we won the EMA's for best band for like the 3rd year in a row didn't we? SO why can't the "Wonder Girls" have this one title? We've given TH many awards, even won the "Best Fans" blah blah. Just chill, what happens, happens, no big deal, there's always next year, they're plenty of other things to vote for :| What's the heck is the matter with you guys? Just let it be, vote all you want but stop with the fighting. It doesn't really matter to TH if they win or lose, i'm sure they'll be surprised IF they win, but come on, i think you guys know that they care mostly about their fans. Im sure the samething goes for the "Wonder Girls" but i don't "know" them, but im sure both bands (or groups) wouldn't want you guys fighting -.- I rest my case ._. |
