RE What my father said

Blame your father who failed to advice you to contest alongside ROCHAS. By now you would have become the governor of Imo state. Next time, try to contest coz you are a human being that can be voted for. My father this, my father that. Are you not a human being? Abeg

What My Father Said

When I saw ROCHAS
Yes Rochas, Having
Giving the Stage of Administration in Imo
I wept aloud

I never beleived it to be true,

I never knew Imo will be minded to

Yes to trade its furture

Its furture for sheer sentiments

I watched him make his declarations

Declarations of deceit

Declarations of the underworld.
I pitied Imo.

What a long four wasteful years.

Four wasteful years indeed.

Imo is in trouble

May God Help you in this your moment

moment of tears.

Live ndi-igbo alone

Jame Olu, look at yourself in the mirror and tell me who you see. I believe that you will tell me that you saw Olu, I say you saw Oluku. I have no time for your rhetoric. Just keep your hallucination with your foolish self and get to terms with the new down in your Nigeria. If the problem of the igbos is to become Nigeria president, that will be a piece of cake.

Having said that, we are not interested in Nigeria occupation, we just wonna be left alone to take care of our problems. We want BIafra nation and there is nothing anyone including your silly self can do about it. Take it or live it, any day ndi-igbo decides it is time, alaye in lagos and Boko Haram in the north will not find it funny. We are patient people. Unfortunately, our patient is running out. Oluku, when is time, you need no one to tell you.

Like they said, Oluku, please live ndi-igbo alone because ndi-igbo is not Nigeria problems. Oluku.

As for the promoters of Gov. Fashola, I pity you people because you people live in the dark side of the world. It is unfortunate.

Revolution in Nigeria.

Fellow Nigerians, we have been deceived many times with unfulfilled promises by the corrupt leaders ranging from the past military juntas till this present day government. Think about the cost of a liter of Kerosene if it is affordable by a common Nigerian in the rural areas. Can 18,000 Naira minimum wage be enough to prepare break fast for the so called leaders, the president, governors, MP and other top government officials. They deceived us to accept that in the site of the law, we are equal. But to them, we are not equal. The former president OBJ is a true example. What happen to the corrupt charges preferred against his daughter Iyabo. What about corrupt charges preferred against IBB, Bode Thomas stole Billions of Naira and he served only two years in the Prison. Since we are equal in the site of the law, why should a common Nigeria who only used his sense to make little money be sentenced to 10 years or more. If a 419er is sentenced to 10 years in prison, the corrupt leaders who stole Billions and Trillions of public funds should spend life in preson or even face hanging as it is done in some Asian Countries. Are we not human beings with one head as they also have one head? many of us left our blessed Nigeria for foreign countries and engage in all sort of activities both genuine and ingenuine as result of hardship caused by this few opportunist/ so called corrupt leaders. Time have come for us to strike back by joining the North African Countries and some of the middle east nations to fight against this few persons in Nigeria who show no marcy for common Nigerians, home and abroad. We need revolution in Nigeria.

There is no amount of intimidation by uneducated Nigerian Police who does not no what human right is all about to stop Biafra struggle.

How can useless Nigeria police which is filled up with uneducated illiterate Housa/Flani & their Yoruba allied will open fire on armless MASSOB Biafrans?

How many Boko Haram has be arrested & bring to justice regards to the death of innocent youth corp members & a lot of bomb explosions killing innocent Nigerians in the North?

No no no no Mr president let it not be our reward for the Igbos to vote for you massively, bc what goes around comes around (Ka ima nkea ima nke ozo).Pls Mr president call your men to order to release those MASSOB members bc they are not Nigeria problems.

MSSOB are not the cause of unemployment in Nigeria,
MASSOb are not the cause of epileptic power supply in Nigeria, they are not the cause of infrastructural decay, they are not the cause of lack of health care delivery in local entity called Nigeria. MASSOB are not the cause of unbelievable corruption going on among three tears of Nigeria gvmt, which one will i say & leave others?

Nigeria government leave my people alone.

Re: Leave Igbos alone

Good rejoinder by Enyinna to James Olu's hypothesis. Perhaps, Mr Olu should educate us on Tafawa Belewa's cause on Ndigbo. It is easy to come online and make bogus claims without the facts.

Ndigbo 'from long time Imo River' believe in meritocracy. We have always seen the smaller tribes in the then Eastern Nigeria as our brothers and sisters. However, outsiders tried to use the smaller tribes in Eastern Nigeria against Ndigbo. The 'minorities' were brainwashed that Ndigbo would dominate them. The Ijaws were aligned with Sir Ahmadu Bello in the first republic and the likes of Isaac Adaka Boro were used as instruments to cause trouble in Dr M I Okpara's Eastern Nigeria government. It was Okpara's government that started the development of the temperate Obudu ranch which is now Nigeria's equivalent of Camp David (in USA). Okpara also fast-tracked the development of Port Harcourt to rival Lagos. The above examples are not in what some may regard as 'Core Igbo Heartland' which clearly shows the detribalized nature of Okpara's government.

Ndigbo did not vote for a drunken fisherman (apologies to Bola Tinubu) but for someone they regard as having the same collective interest. Ndigbo, Izon, Ibibio/Efik etc all have the same collective interest. Second Niger Bridge would benefit all Easterners irrespective of tribe. Enugu International Airport would benefit Northern towns in Igboland, Akwa Ibom and CRS.

Our so called appointed leaders who may not (even) win their respective constituencies in a free and fair election must stop bickering and allow President Jonathan to get on with the job.
Our Collective Interest is more important than which ministerial appointment goes to the South East. Too much noise-making would only irritate other political zones in the country.

Finally, people must realise that Ndigbo are still going through the motions of psychological defeatism as a result of the Civil War. We must concentrate on rebuilding or structures and economy like Germany and Japan did after the World Wars. Today, Germany is the largest economy in Europe while Britain and France are mere pretenders - as Policemen of the World - to the number one position. Without Germany that bailed out Greece, the Euro zone would have collapsed. It is a known fact in Nigeria that Ndigbo sons and daughters are the best financial managers of the economy.

Re: Leave Igbos alone

True talk. when it comes to sharing goodies they say Igbos are not united, but they don't say that when they want to give other tribes their due. since when did unity become criteria for giving tribes what is due them?

OLU

What nonsense are u trying to propagate? Who told you that the Igbos are not united. I don't know the tribe you came from but one thing is clear, ur tribe is not as united as the Igbo tribe. Do u know what it takes to sustain a war that was fought on your own very soil for three year! Mind you Igbos from Abia state were deployed to Enugu where they fought and even died for there real father land. Igbo from Enugu were deployed in Owerri where they fought and even died for what they believed in! can your tribe sacrifice like this? Among the instrument used against Biafra were false propaganda and stirred hatred.
By the way do u think that the Igbo had nobody to field during the election? We saw GEJ as our own that is why we needed no consultation to vote for him. we are fighting a common enemy, the Nigeria system. Moreover I have not know whom the Yorubas consulted to vote for him too. The unity of the Igbo Nation was reflected on the way they voted, almost 100% which even Buhari could not believe. No wonder he insisted that the poll was rigged in southeast! But I tell you it was not! We saw it as a national challenge and we delivered! come 2015, you will see another shocker, but only if Nigeria will survive till then. Long live Igbo nation, the pride of Africa!

Re: Leave Igbos alone

I agree with Enyinna. Nigerians should stop mocking Igbos and leave them alone. In 1979 there was an unwritten agreement that Hausa/Fulani will take power after Obasanjo's tenure as military head of state to compensate them for the death of Murtala Muhamed. The powers that be stuck to that decision even when it was glaring that Chief Awolowo had a good case to be made president instead of Shagari. Also the whole Nigeria agreed that the Yorubas will produce a president in 1999 and picked Obasanjo. We all know that the Yorubas themselves did all they could to abort Obasanjo's dream of being president again. If it were Igbo, Nigerians would have used that pretext of no support for their son and no unity among them to deny Igbos the presidency. but even without home support they still gave Obasanjo the presidency. even this 2011 elections too Jonathan had many southsouth people who were against him. But if Igbo they would have said that his people are disunited and would have denied him the presidency based on that. In 1999 when almost all Igbos supported Ekwueme, surprisingly Nigerians became alarmed and some people presented Ekwueme as a tribal candidate and looked for opportunity to deny him the prize. That was when they conveniently used Jim Nwobodo to do so. And then turned around to accuse Ndigbo of not being united enough. (I feel Nigerians are terrified and tend to feel threatened when Igbos come together). In GEJ's case now, the establishedment has turned a blind eye to the inappropriateness of his candidacy and unanimously supported him. But if an Igboman they would have told him to respect zoning.
Nigerians should stop making different standards for Ndigbo and different standards for every one else thereby portraying Ndigbo in poor light. Our people should also pick themselves upo and stop giving these people the reasons to keep denying us our rightful place despite our huge population and contribution.
so when will Nigeria compensate Igbos for all the injustice against them just as they compensated the Yoruba for June 12. Compensated the Hausa for Murtala Muhamed's death, and compensated the Southsouth now with Jonathan's presidency. Compensate us instead of looking silly excuses like Igbos are not speaking with one voice, Igbos are too selfish, Igbos are republican etc. A careful analysis will reveal that other tribes are like that yet the Nigerian establishment still compensated them for percieved wrong doings against them,. In my opinion other Nigerians feel that Ndigbo deserve all the unfortunate things they are doing to them since the war because they deserved also the killings and destruction that came with the war.
This is hypocrisy

Leave Igbo people alone.

You people should leave Ndigbo alone.
There is nothing James Olu listed that cannot be found among other ethnic groups.
The Igbo case is peculiar because no other ethnic group in Nigeria has come remotely close to experiencing what the Igbos experienced between 1966 and 1970.
How many tribes can rebuild themselves that easily after loosing 3m people in a genocidal war?
How many tribes can be effective after having all their infrastructure completley destoyed in a merciless war.

Such dislocations destroy societies and mindset.
So you cannot compare the Igbos with the Yorubas who have been enjoying all the way through in Nigeria, nor with the Hausas who are the masters of Nigeria. Or even the minorities who are sometimes are pampered.
It is only Igbos who are seen differently.
Essentially the few decades after any major war are always difficult for any people.
Igbos will get it right finally though it may take time.
The near total support for Jonathan is a sign that the Igbo nation is gradually beginning to pick up the pieces of its life.
In addition the ongoing discrimination and marginalization of Ndigbo in the office sharing and structure of the country will also help Ndigbo regain their sense.
But for now you people should stop judging Ndigbo from the perspective of other tribes because none of you can survive what we have survived. So it will take some time before we get it right.
This is the way of nature and human mechanism.
So leave Igbo people alone
