fair vote?

I don't think this is a fair vote! The list is way too long. Just look at the current results. Modules on top have a way higher vote rate then modules on the bottom.
- People loose concentration/interest and skip the lower part very quickly, missing modules they would have voted.
- Because you can select multiple modules, the more modules you select, the higher your criteria become. An average module on the top will get your vote, but not on the bottom because you allready selected so many modules.

Dreamcatcher

Aww man, its crap that the Ultima 4 remake wasnt in this list, so I voted for the mods that Ive already played...

About this "dreamcatcher" series, is it really that good, better than shadowlords??? After seeing how many votes its got, I feel like playing it soon. If its got lots of fighting AND storyline I wan to play it later on.

P.S.

Class-specific mods won't get as many votes as none-specific mod because of taste-differences between players. Some people don't like paladins, some don't like rogues... you know...

Anyways... I think any module that gets more than 0% deserve praise, and win or loose, everyone did great for the community!

Thanks to all the builders!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work!!!
Please!? :)

I like how...

You get to vote for more than 1 modules by selecting more than one modules at once. It certainly made voting A LOT easier than I first thought. The extra votes do count... right?

I think most people do not know this, thus the more restrictive modules (character class specific for example) are not getting nearly as many votes as they deserve. A pity really, since I actually like Twilight more than Dreamcatcher (just slightly more. VERY slightly. REALLY!!!). :D

Such a hard choice...

This is a very hard choice. The truth is some of these mods are great single-player mods, but not nearly as strong in multi-player situations. i.e Dreamcatcher. Some are great Multi-player mods i.e Cave of Songs, but weaker solo. I'm glad that 4 mods will be reconized, but I still feel that a multi-player and single-player mod of the year is in order.

It's really an apples and oranges situation. Ideally what I would like to see is a top 4 single-player mods, with the highest vote count getting the title of Single-player mod of the year. The exact same for Multi-player. It's so tough I almost can't choose.

If Maximus is reading this thread maybe he will give some thought to breaking it into single and multi categories for next year. :)

All that said... May the best mods win ! :)

Decisions, decisions

So many choices, and so few votes.
