I take every word here as seriously as possible. If I so much as get a 'smart ass' firing back, the metaphor is the only way. I think of it as the only way anyone is going to get answers for why this site was developed in the first place. It wasn't like he named it "Static:fact or fantasy?". If he rubs his hands on a blanket or something, moves something without touching it, and then questions telekinesis - the big question is: what about static? It was that every possible fantasy in human history has had every possible shot to use telekinesis, because it existed outside the body. Where you 'see' it and probably 'hear' something move, when it isn't touched. My debate being that no one has heard of me before, my telekinetic power, and that fact that it isn't static. So, before asking if telekinesis is a fantasy, before even adressing it as an issue of it's existence, there has to be one clear and concise understanding. Of where and how this is going in a direction. If there is any to go in. If someone is afraid of the facts, use a metaphor, and well work on that fearlessness for a while. We will see if Keith can contribute differently, than the way he has before. |
