There is no similarity between a belief in God and a belief in TK simply because neither one has been proven, and many would argue that the case for God has been. The point here is not that they haven't been proven but the fact that they could be. God could decide to pay us a visit and thereby prove his existence to the world. The problem with that however is that it would be His decision, and would therefore be outside the control of those who believe in Him. His believers are not able to prove his existence. With those that claim to have TK, this is not a belief - for them - but a claim that can be very easily verified, all they have to do is demonstrate it. I would say that is a hell of a difference. One can't be proven and the other can. How can you say that as a belief system they are both the same? Admit it or not, you are wrong on this one. |

I understand your analogy, even if they refuse to consider anything that may support Faith in TK, directly or indirectly. Keith, you should block yourself and Grant.
