Definitely Galuf

Just because I wasn't really expecting him to be killed by the crappiest FF villain of all time (but that's just my opinion).

And what is this about Ramza dying in FF Tactics? Ramza didn't die. Do you mean Delita?

You know what I think?

I think Shadow is the most tragic death, you know why? Because you can prevent it if you choose. If you don't, you'll be filled with guilt! Nooooo! Guilt!

calm down mann...

okay already knew aeris would be in the top of the list, but it is not because im one of those braindead ffVII fans... i didnt even like vii as much as IX or VI, but her death is simply THE most emotive of all... besides, i didnt like tellah, and the twins were just petrified, so i always payed them a visit now and then =]

The twins

Palom and Porom's sacrifice always made me cry. The speach they gave, so sad, and their only little kids.

Feh, figures.

Aeris is in the lead, gee, who would have guessed. ^_^

Anyway, I voted for Tellah. Goes out with a bang fighting against the major villain, everyone knows he won't be able to pull it off, and then he just turns around and sacrifices his own life to launch the 'super attack spell that makes fifty gajillion nuclear bombs look like a puny firecracker' spell that's in every final fantasy game.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for the 'kick ass fighting deaths' sorta thing.

Aeris: GAK!

I voted for Tidus and Auron, but I know that you could see their deaths coming (not the case with Aeris). Well (SPOILER) Auron was already dead, so no suprise there. However, I was certain that they would find some way to save Tidus from that big Blitzball pool in the sky. Shows what I know!

I nearly voted for Galuf, not because of the emotional impact, which the game had precious little of, but because I had assumed that you stuck with the starting four party members the whole game, and thus had built Galuf's stats up a lot. For a gut-wrenching five minutes, I thought that all those awesome classes and relics I'd accumulated were gone for good. Again, shows what I know. This also led to, in my recounting, the first RPG party ever that had more females than males. 75% percent of the party was female at the end, while even FFIX and VIII was 50-50.

Oh, and Palom/Porom never died. They return at the peniultimate battle with the Giant.

Ick

I KNEW Aeris would be in the lead. To many FF7 braindead fanboys, no offense to non-FF7 braindead fanboys.
