YAY!!$$$

So, we reserved our limo today. It's a 2006 Chrysler Limo and it's black and silver with Suicide/Lamborguini style doors. It's not even out yet, it comes out on Saint Patrick's Day. The whole package came to $2,000 for the whole night. My dress is getting custom made, so it will be anywhere between $700-&1,000. Dinner will probably be around $100, and all the accessories will add up to about $300.

Pictues will be about $85-$100.

Haha, I'm glad I won't have to pay for anything...that's what my parents are for :D

Cheap...and Nice!!

i agree. Prom can be a pretty penny. but hey, has anyone ever been to DEB? They have stores here and there. the dresses are VERY reasonable and GORGEOUS!! I bought mine there last year for only $100. My whole prom ensemble was about 190.00 tops. And that was counting hair, and nails. and pictures. So i got a bargain.

P.S. DEB also has plus size dresses...cause not all girls are a size 2. (not that there's anything wrong with being skinny)

I'm going cheap and beautiful

My mom and I were going prom dress shopping and I was trying on $300-400 dresses. I didn't like any of them. Then we went into a used clothing store for kicks. I saw a beautiful lavender dress in the corner. I tried it on and it fit perfect. It was only 15 dollars because on of the straps was ripping off. I bought thread and sewed it back on. Moral of this story: don't rule out a dress just because it's cheap, It may actually be your favorite.

dress cost

gurls, ur dress doesn't really need to be that expensive, i mean, think about it... you only have the opportunity to wear that dress for a few hours. why spend so much? my personal limit is no more than 400. that's even pushing it unless u have been like saving ur whole life for it. lol

accessorie help

I've bought a rose coloured dress from Jessica McClintock. It's a halterneck and i don't know if i should wear a necklace and earring set or earrings and a delicate bracelet. My prom theme is Romance in Bloom and the decorations are based on a 1940;s ballroom which will be gold with red and white roses everywhere so I'm trying to get jewelry that looks abit like 1940's jewelry. Any ideas or websites that could help. Also where can I buy a cheapish clutch?

PROM NIGHT IS VERY SPECIAL AND IT MAY COST A PRETTY PENNY. BUT YOU SHOLD NOT SPEND SO MUCH THAT YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT A LOAN. THAT IS NOT CALLED FOR. JUST DO WHAT YOU CAN AND HAVE FUN.
