James, all I can say is accuse me if you want, but also you've said a million horrible mean things on here about me, full well knowing that I would read them. I'm not the same nice me anymore, Loretta pushed me to far this time, and well your fat chick at the chef school was to much. Is CULINARY arts to much for you to say. Oh and since I'm graduating with a bachelors degree in it this fall, something you'll never have, I can only hope you won't be to bitter. So you went to school and learned a skill that is in big demand allowing you to move anywhere you want while he will be stuck working at Starbucks for a large portion of his life making one excuse after another as to why he can't do anything. He'll still be able to call himself a barista because he knows how to press the froth button and the culinary skills he did learn will come in handy when he needs to find a way to choke down yet another can of catfood for dinner. If I remember right, you specialized in desserts, correct?

Unless your into the pastery, not much else is art, it's cooking and then feeding people. Anybody can put on some "sprinkles" at the end and say it's pretty. You don't even have to graduate from chef school to be a chef. There are loopholes, talk to chef Pat on that one. I'm not going back because the program dosent have anything else for me, I've taken all the pastery classes they have. I don't need to learn how to make all the other ****, anybody can cook a steak at a steak house. If thats what she specialized in, then why are there only three pastery classes there, thats why I left, four years of school but only three pastery classes. It was bull****. (not chef Michels fault, she's doing her best but that school sucks)

First, they are not called Chef schools for the same reason people studying medicine don't go to Doctor school. You get schooled in the culinary arts to became a chef. There are no loopholes or shortcuts. A true chef has gone to school or gone through an extensive apprenticeship. Heatlamping burgers at McDonalds doesn't make you a chef. Cooking up Grand Slam breakfasts at Denny's doesn't make you a chef. Catering a hillbilly wedding doesn't make you a chef. When Krisbish graduates, she can truly be called Chef Krishbish. She didn't whine about everything and give a million reasons why she should just give up. Your attitude is like 'well, they can't guarantee that I'll win the Bocuse d'Or so they suck'. That is why I say that down the road Krishbish will have a good career and you will be eating catfood. Even if you did go through with the school, you still set yourself up for failure. A chef that can't smell is as useless as a blind crossing guard. My guess is you got laughed out of the CA program because you showed up wearing a 'Kiss the Cook' apron, a set of Ginsu knives in a paper bag, and tried to do all your baking in the salamander. She is laughing at you.
