I feel your pain..

I remember when my mom's ex-boyfriend Dave only let me play my games for an HOUR each day! I always sneak and play when he goes to his friend's house to watch WWE and get drunk. My mom even lets me do this! And the worst part is, he makes me stay outside all day while HE plays XBox! Because of this, I was happy when my mom dumped him.

oh god...

I remember those days with my SNES and PS1...(actually had my stepdad chuck my PS1 at me once...somehow it survived) But yeah, a lot of my gametime was in the mornings before school, since my stepdad used to leave work early all the time to make sure I was cleaning the house, doing my homework, and not having any fun or any breaks. And if I stopped for even 3 seconds, I was yelled at. So yeah, all gaming...early morning, 1 hour before school. Needless to say, its a bitch when the next savepoint is over an hour away 0_0;;

yeah

Usually these days my parents say "do your homework or you will not play today". To be honest my mom never lets me play on days I have homework from school. At least I can play whenevr I want. Once, I was playing Super Smash Bros for the N64 and I'm almost about to unlock C. Falcon (by playing 1P mode less than 20 minutes) and all of a sudden, my mom walks in my room telling me to get my ass up and set up the laundry clothes. All parents are like this. :(

Hell Yeah! XD

Like Alot of us back then in our kid age, we would sneak with the game if we're not allowed. I only snucked playing the game at night, with my cousin at his house. But I never tried at my house, playing it at night or anything to be the slick rick, during the time, because I was afraidy cat getting woopins and scared of belts, so scared that I actually took my mom/dad's belts out of there closet and some other places that I can find and hid them under my bed! And I thought that would work and I would get away with woopins alot of times.....THE HELL IT DIDN'T!!! They went more drastic measures, by wippin me with a damn switch, and what I mean by switch I mean a long stick. But then when I was ten and eleven, I started sneaking on my game in the morning before I go to school because my parents are still sleep, and Im able to walk to school and walk back home (It only takes me 10 minutes to go here and there and so on, anywho....), and Im able to sneak to play my game when my parents are gone for work, and I get back home from school, take care of my homework and yak! yak! and play my game until 5 pm. And still, now a days I just play my game when they're gone for the night and stuff. Thats a good thing for me not to stay away from my game, because they gave me limit to only play the game on the weekends....no fair! So most of the people are more lucky then me, nice article to read about, giving me all this totally, FLASHBACK!! :D

Oh yeah.

This totally brings back memories.

Back.. When I was like two, I got my NES. The next Year I got my SNES, I played the crap out of them.
SO, for my NES I had the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. After blowing in it for four hours, it never worked. (What a rip). My favorite game for the SNES was Super Mario World. I still have alll my systems up to this day. So, as I played SMW I got better and better, eventually, beating my 30 (At the time) Year old uncle, as a toddler :D.
So, when I got my GC, I got as many games as I could. But then my dad was all like.
" Okay, I'm taking your gamecube away from you, you play it far too much." So, up to this day, I get to play videogames for a briefed period of time at my dads..

N64 deal

i was always allowed to played the NES when i was 4 (on '96[yes i played nes 11 years after its release]), and i always played aladdin on SNES (licensed games were awesome on the snes!) but then the 64 era came. i got the 64 on christmas along with 3 controllers and super mario 64. then, my parents went crazy. i was allowed to play on christmas vacations, but when i entered school i was only allowed to play on weekends after finishing homework. my dad would take the yellow/red/white i always had good greats, so this was obviously cruelty from my parents.

I have never again suffered so much. I could try playing withput seeing or hearing anything, but that was obviously too hard

What a co-inky-dink!

In the Fall of '05 I had just saved up for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (I'm a Zelda freak) and I couldn't wait to play. "Wow, the first 3-D Zelda game! This is gonna kicka*s!" I said to myself. When I got home, I started playing it, when my dad said: "Son, what're you doing?! You're supposed to wait for Christmas! December 25th!" My jaw dropped. "OK dad, I'll put this MASTERPIECE of a game, along with the N64, up in my closet, y'know, for safe-keeping." As gullible as my dad was, he let me do just that. But on that same night, at 12:54 AM, I got out the N64 and started playing OOT! Guess what? I never got caught either. And I was only 16 at the time.

True, so true

I can remember not being allowed to play my SNEs while my parents watch a stupid 1950s film that seemed to forever to me! ( The SNEs was hooked to the Kitchen Telly )

The case of me not having anygames console for the last 9 years because they'd thought i'd turn into a zombie is the biggest source of pain and unnesscary crulety to me as well! :(
