A lot of people take it as RR, so I don't do it very often. Then again, not many Americans have driven on the a real highway like the Autobahn.

You forgot all the people who don't know there's a driver behind them! I sometimes flash my lights to let people know that I'm letting them in -- they usually don't get it.

Turn off your DAMN lights!!! I wouldn't be in the passing lane if I weren't passing, and I'll get out of it as soon as possible with or without some idiot behind me!

If you don't understsand what flashing the lights means you should probably not be on the road. Take a drivers training course and stay out of the passing lane.

Flashing one's lights is anything but agressive, If people read those signs that say (SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT), then traffic would flow a bit smother, ONLY MORONS WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS, Learn to drive.

If you can get where you're going just as well in the middle or right lane, than why not, and avoid the tailgating/light flashing/fingerflipping!

I can't belive the precentage of people that feel this is an agressive or road rage act. I guess we need more of those signs that say "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT."

Anyone that has a clue about driving knows this is a polite way of asking you to let them pass, in some countries it is illegal to pass on the right and is a serious violation.

I started to check the "polite" response, but most times, I think it's anything BUT polite!

I would rather have the driver behind me indicate that he wants to go faster than have him angry and coursing me!
