I can relate to her like everyone else can relate to their fav character.I love movies, I also quote the lines. I compare movies to real life. And I do acting all though I don't think I'm going to keep acting through my adult years because I don't have that kind of talent. My room is like her's with pictures of celebrities all over my wall (exspecially the ones from Now and then) and of course the male celebrities, with the newest celebrity hottie over my bed. Right now it's just plain white but in a week or two I'm painting it a color similiar to her's and I didn't realize it till the first time I saw the movie after I picked the shade out. I don't know, I just can relate to her, like I said. I'm the kind of person to just have fun but I also console my friends, and look after them like Teeny did to Samantha, so I know when to get serious. She's the one with all the cute, funny lines. And I just love her facial expressions, I don't know why but I just do. When you see teeny, you see that fun-filled person who is rejected by her parents but still has that magic in her, and a different way to love and be loved.( I don't know if that made sense, I can't really explain it) Thora Birch is my favorite actress and she did a really good job with this role. All the characters were great, I loved them all and it was a good casting job! Each person can really relate to one of the characters in a certain way. I love this movie so much I watch it every weekend and spend allot of the time going to sites on the movie/the actresses and printing out pics. It really has allot of valuable lessons and makes you happy when your in a bad mood. I LOVE THIS MOVIE |

My favorite part of the whole movie is when Teeny and Samatha are both talking in the treehouse together. I also like when Teeny takes her neckless off, bites it in half and gives the one half to Samatha. I thought that Teeny was just so cute when she did that. I love Now and Then. I watch it all the time. I think the whole movie is just so cute. |

I have these 3 best friends, there names are Michelle, Rachel and Teja! We all relate to each character but we chose a special part for each of us. Michelle is Sam because they both have that same personality that they will stick up for their friends!! Rachel is Chrissy because they are both the friendly ones and are always happy!!! Teja relates to Teeny because of their looks and their outgoing personalities! Then there's me, Danielle who relates the most to Roberta. Roberta and I are tomboys (half on each side) that like sports and I think girls are as good as guys in every way!!! Roberta can relate to death as can I from close people that have passed away. Roberta also has a sense of humour as do I and a great personality. Although I have never taped my boobs I think I still relate to Roberta. Michelle, Rachel, Teja and I are gonna have an awesome summer together that we'll never forget as well as those four best friends!!! NOW and THEN RULEZ and I can't get enough of it! |

Nothing in the movie, I think, was taken to extreme or exadderated a bit. I know many of teens who r exactly like each of them and some are my closest friends. And even though some ppl r thinking "well, how is it possible that ppl stay exactly the same as they were when they were kids?", if u were paying close attention, they were not exactly the same as they were when they were kids. They were remenessing about the past and the point of it all was that the experiences they had changed their lives which is the truest fact u will ever hear. |
