| Posted By: Jen P. Posted On: Jul 21, 2002 Views: 1708 | Now and Then is sooo awsome!! I love this movie sooo much!!! I have three other friends who think this movie rocks too. What is soo funny is that each of us are like one of the chracters, it's wierd but soo cool. My friend Kris is like Sam, she looks like her the most and she has the same personality. My friend Jaime is so much like Teeny in every way. My friend Kim is like Krissy, not totally in looks but in personality cuz she's always telling us how much trouble we're gonna get in for what ever we're doing at the time and a total stickler for hygine. I am like Roberta in every way, although I never tried to tape my boobs but yes they were a major annoying change and experience. I am a tomboy, "alternative but normal" and my friends say that's what makes me special. But I love this movie cuz it reminds me of how naive and innocent my friends used to be and still are a lil bit. We even have our own set of "wormers" and even a "Scott". I just love that 1970 time setting, though. That's when all the small town kids really new how to have fun with out a computer screen or a tv set; when kids were actually active and when it was actually safe to walk down the street. "now and Then" is one of those movies that really makes you think about what growing up really is and how the change hits you in the butt when your not looking. And that's why this movie is so great!!! |

I love all the characters cuz each one relates to me and I think they did an amazing job!!! Thora(Teeny) did an amazing job, because her character is outgoing and that's just what thora is, she just has that attitude that fit the part!! Thora is a very good friend and I think I am too!!! Christina(Roberta) is such a fun girl and she did an excellent job in this movie as well!!! She stood up for what she believed in, GIRLS CAN PLAY BASEBALL AND ANY OTHER SPORT!!!! I loved her character and I love her as an actress!! way to go!! Gaby(Samantha) is a warm hearted person who is into science fiction. I love the way she did this character and I think I relate to her in a spiritual way!!! Ashleigh(Chrissy) is a very true friend to everyone, especially Roberta!!! I love Chrissy's humour and I love her hair!!! Now and then tought me the value of friendship and as I read what I'm writing I can see who my true friends really are!! I love the movie and I've watched it over a million times and I love the soundtrack so much I bought it!!!!! oh ya, Christina is sooo lucky to have gotten to kiss Devon Sawa!!! Ouch!!! |
