I would preferred the interview to have concentrated a bit more on Natasha & Brendan as the winners of the competition (Brendan looked a bit sidelined on the left of the sofa). Hope they find a way to carry on dancing together - What about a special showing how they train for and perform in a pro/am? Natasha is a star isn't she? Donating her fee to charity and still being so modest about her achievements in the show! I think they've had a great time (as shown by clips on SCD on 3) and have surely set an unbeatable standard. A truly captivating couple! |
| Posted By: Julie Posted On: Jul 5, 2004 Views: 1322 | Breakfast TV I saw Brendan (with Arlene and Chris) on BBC Breakfast this morning too. It was good, but I also thought that Brendan wasn't quite his usual self. Maybe it was too early in the morning for him! He left an unusually large gap between himself and Natasha though. It was so generous of Natasha to give her fee for the show to charity. She really is a worthy winner and a great role model, unlike some other celebrities we've seen on reality TV shows. |

| Posted By: elaine Posted On: Jul 5, 2004 Views: 1320 | continue dancing i read the small piece in the sun today about natasha's wishes to continue dancing with brendan it would be great i think they could do well in pro/am tournaments why is it that big brother with fewer viewers than strictly come dancing has the coverage in the papers that it does and yet there are no photos in todays papers of the winners i missed brendan on tv this morning was it good |

They were brilliant, fantastic and wonderful and thoroughly deserved to win. I have loved Brendan's choreography throoughout the whole series and what a lovely couple they make, you can almost feel that chemistry when they are dancing. Luckily the mishap with the mikes didn't make a difference. Many congratulations to Brendan and Natasha, hope we see them dancing together again soon. xxxx |

Great performances in the final and over the series as a whole - they were the best dancers and they got their just reward. I thought Len Goodman in particular really got behind them tonight. SCD has been wonderful - a perfect end to a great series. Brendan has proved to be a superb teacher and choreographer. Natasha has been a revelation. She looks like a dancer, performs to such a high standard and is so modest about her ability. She looked so surprised to have won. NATASHA AND BRENDAN - WORTHY CHAMPIONS!! I hope they find a way to keep dancing together as their story has been fantastic. |
| Posted By: elaine Posted On: Jul 3, 2004 Views: 1353 | champions well done natasha and brendan wasn't his mum proud! they danced as well as everyone has come to expect i was so nervous when the samba went wrong but what a freestyle they didn't rely on spectacular lifts (hte ones they did were brilliant) they danced and danced brilliantly well deserved champions although when they were on the left of the screen for the result i thought that was it as every couple that was on the left was the ones to leave scd really pushed for chris even tonight up until the winners were announced even the other couples when asked were all for chris chris you brought dancing to another generation but the rightful couple won again WELL DONE NATASHA AND BRENDAN!!!!!!! |

Fantastic dancing from them tonight, i loved that freestyle lift-just brilliant! A word for Chris though, gracious in defeat! I'm really going to miss it, what now of Saturday nights and weekdays at half 8?! |
