I have called guys back to grade school. My sister would have never called a guy, ever while we were growing up. She is extremely happily married going on 17 years! The whole thing is perplexing to me, and no I would not be offended if my boss pinched me on the butt, I am quite flirty, but not at the office, at all. Here in the US you can get sued for crap like that so we are very professional about that. I am not a feminist, at all. I am not very fifties, either. I have given too much in the past, have been a doormat before, and am trying to avoid further problems like that. The calling a guy thing makes sense - if he likes you won't he call? If he doesn't, he's not, right? Yes, it could grow into something from you calling him, but when I look at my past history, I think I would have been better off, not pursuing the guy. It is nature, not fifties... |
