I like to have fun when I drive and it is fun to drive. I don't care if it beats a Matrix or not, it is way better looking than an Echo, the only reason I was even considering the Echo or the xA was cost and gas mileage. I think the Mazdas have a more European look than the Matrix cars do, and I am a 41 year-old mom, not a twenty year-old college student. My dream car still remains the BMW 3-series or a Lexus IS400. emaN's car IS bad ass... |
| Posted By: Rox Posted On: Jun 17, 2005 Views: 507 | RE: Scion xA i think DM was talking about putting solar cells on a plymouth acclaim a while back... we beat him with sticks and he changed his mind. yeah, the elise is really nice... a company called ForcedFed makes a turbo kit for them that boosts them up to 275hp instead of 190hp. really not the expensive for what you're getting the exige is really nice too... i don't like convertibles/removable roof cars so i'd probably go for the exige instead. problems include needs for space in the car/saving for a bigger house... hence the matrix |

| Posted By: Rox Posted On: Jun 17, 2005 Views: 559 | RE: Scion xA they'll have to do either a ton of work on the motor or do a swap in order to get it reliably up to 400hp. 275 is pushing it on the 2zz because it has an 11.5:1 compression ratio and running high boost with high compression tends to make things go boom. they're probably going to have to take out the catalytic converters and run it on 110 octane leaded race gas. |
