I would buy all they had. I think Wal-Mart got smart about clearance candy though in the past few years, because it is just not like it used to be the day after a holiday! It really sucks, too. As far as chocolate - I love Toblerone! |

Its funny because having a cuppa is such a common figure of speech it didnt occur to me that is was an Australianism. Fave chocolate - I dunno, Mars bar, snickers, picnic (do you have picnics?) - gawd - just about everything. Not so sure about a deep fried candy bar, makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it. I am pretty sure that a Mars bar in the US is a milky way fyi. I have never tried a picnic but I'm guessing "I wouldn't kick it outta bed". I find the ocassional british import stores with some candies but for the freshest and broadest selection I like aussiecatalog.com. Sadly, they don't ship beer. Uhhh, how I miss it there. I went back when I was 24 for about 3-4 months and had THE best time. My cousin took me to this formal ball up in the bush about 700 miles north of adelaide. It was INSANE! Apparently takes place every other year. Ever hear of it? Only smelly hippies throw massive concerts in the dessert here which I am happy to pass up. |
