im a welder who welds aircraftcarriers and submarines are supervisors seem to be more concernd about quanity more then quality the focus should be more on the type of material being used (you dont need a stair way thats HY100 when HTS will do

Welding failures do not just happen:-If the procedures are adhered to and the Weld Inspector, Rad Interpretor are doing their jobs according to their ability then there should be no failures.

There is a perception that anybody can be a good or can perform welding jobs. Yes, sure unless their employers spend a lots of money without knowing the difference of what professional means. People always think other jobs are easier.
