"I have been in jails for the past two years and have not visited Pratappur since then. There is no fresh case lodged against me," Shahabuddin, who is out of Bihar, said. Siwan district magistrate C K Anil said all the 11 families were found to be illegally consuming electricity. Cases under Arms Act, Wild Life Protection Act, Forest Act, Electricity Act and Transportation Act would be instituted in connection with the recovery and revelations made following the raids. On recovery of arms during the raids, Shahabuddin said, "the administration had raided my house and some of my neighbours' houses on Saturday and found nothing. But today they are saying that illegal arms have been recovered." The fourth-term RJD MP, against whom 34 criminal cases are pending and who has been externed from Siwan for six months by the DM, said he would not be "cowed down" by the administration's "high-handedness". However, DM Anil, in reply to a question, said the question of personal vendetta didn't arise. "I address the MP as Sir," he said, "but nobody is above law." |

I would love to place my views on what you have posted. If you are interested kindly email me on sanatan12@yahoo.com. I would email my response to this posting to your email if you will provide. I have lost my capacity to discuss on this message board.Here people have a habbit to pick one or two loop holes of one's posting out of 300 postings. I strongly condemed the use of word Lalooa and still I am called castist. I am jsut 27 years old and I have grown and acquired my knowledge when Laloo ji was in charge of state. I am incompitent and not knowlegdgeble to comment on previous CM of Bihar as I was a kid that time without any knowledge of accomplishment in that era. I oppose the last government on jsut the basis of developmental work....My father is a tax payer in Bihar and I have every right to ask question related to development of Bihar. Its my basic right...whoever is the CM ...which ever party/religion/caste...I will ask questions related to development. I had posed certain questions to people following certain party however I did not get an answer. Pradeep ji, I too value the freedom of speech and my intention to say Vikash not to post any thing like "Rabri devi is like mother" was solely to stop temptation. I dont want anyone to put slang against her as she belongs to a state where my mother lives. I dont want to see any humiliation to any ladies of Bihar. People insted of answering my questions have begun labelling me as jharkhand agent. I raise the point of turning the plane to jharkhand because of the frustration. Its a newly formed state and I was surprised by the way they have started promoting tourism. Why does Bihar dont do like that???? We are in habbit of finding excuses...and if someone points out, people will call him agent but still wont have courage to admit failure.??? Our leaders become great as soon as they start abusing RSS/BJP.We dont judge our ledaers on basis of performance but just on the basis of how strongly they can bash some people on national level???. Unfortunately same leaders will keep quite when poor Bihari laborers are hit and beaten in diffrent states of Bihar. People here say that Ia m castist...but no one dares to speak abt our leaders who openly say that If a CM will be made ...he will be Muslim??? What kind of democracy is this...and what kind of condition is this???. I am not against Muslim leaders becoming CM...but is this a proper way to install a CM like this.??? I fail to understand when I see people say me anti Bihari when I stareesed upgradation of Institutes in Bihar should be first priority. Lakhs of Bihari students migrate to different states. If this will be the rate of outflow...then what will happen to our state??? Moreover, lakhs of hard earned money also goes out of state in paying the fees of student. In delhi Univ...Bihari students are demorlized as the admission officers there say that Bihari degrees are not valid. What is wrong if i ask to upgrade our institutes. definatly If colleges are upgraded, our universities are upgraded,facilities are improved, teaching is improved, genuine admission procedures are maintained and good administration is provided...mass migration of student will be checked. this in turn will improve the society as more and more educated people will be retained in state. However, never ever I opposed setting of IIT in Bihar---My intention to provide Joshi report was to make aware were we are lagging and what can be done in Future. However, I applauded the people who showed leadership in writing the petition. I too was signatory of that petition within minutes of it getting online. However, I still will maintain that If we dont get an IIT...in return we must demand enough fund to upgrade our institutes so that in future we dont again miss opportunity. I know there is a kind of biasness against our stae...but to tackle this we need to get stronger,,, build our institutions stronger and reform our socio-political set up. I was emotional at that time as per my age. True , the ancient history of Bihar is glorious-I have gone through this in detail and still relish it--but after the 3rd King of Gupta Dynasty, the spirit seems to have died----reasons not analyzed till date. Indian Civilization got molested for 6 hundred years till 1757 A.D. but Magadh remained sleeping. Excuse me if it hurts you, every manipulator including Gandhi found Bihar a playground--Gandhi copied the methods he adopted in South Africa--even though things were quite different in India.The ill guided and Politics-infested freedom movement led to Partition and massacre of 300 thousand innocents--Gandhi almost remained silent--so were his disciples--Nehru, Patel and Rajendra Prasad. No one wants to hear of ancient history--they ask about the recent Bihar or present Bihar--which is presenting a horrible model of democracy to rest of the Country--It is the democratic Bihar where elections are held like a war and record of election violence is unparalleled in India. Sanatan, think of all this , I am sure you will start thinking in a different way. Even if you do not, we will maintain a communication link on this forum. |
