I support IIT in Bihar!!

Read comments from Gabbar to Sanatan to Bihari Babu to Pradeep to Jai Bihar on this forum about their views on having IIT in Bihar, then you will know how a RJD supporter Vikas Yadav is asking for an IIT in Bihar. Actually you should be sad not only for person like me supporting IIT for Bihar but also how come we are writing in English!!

I am not so habitual of hearing “Ji” after my name. Who was putting forward useless report called Joshi report here on this forum to discourage people here on this forum from demanding IIT for Bihar. They should read their own post.

Who was here talking about PICNIC ON CHARPAI in Bihar. Why just 70, I am expecting you to get signature of entire Jharkhand for an IIT in Bihar. This is victory of Bihar, if people like you have changed their mind and started supporting IIT in Bihar.

Just few pages back, poor Prabhat Ji, Shayama Ji, Manoj Ji and Aditya Ji were feeling frustrated by some so called educated people opposing or trying to dilute the demand for an IIT in Bihar.

I am sure Prabhat Ji will be very happy now the same people are supporting demand for an IIT in Bihar!!

I don’t want any confrontation, let us all together support IIT for Bihar and we have to make sure that no body should tell pilot to turn plane (IIT) towards Jharkhand.

not only IIT medical colleges also

i am happy and signed for the demaand of IIT. but in this changing world of globalisation, where treatment in bihar/ india will be one 5th of the treatment in USA and these facts in association with the marcket gurus terminologies like medical tourism, government should aalso concentrate on the medical education in bihar. i believe all the medical colleges in bihar is on the verge of derecognition from MCI! what will be their internnational recognition? as i have told times and again- 400 doctors per yr for 8 crore Biharis, 2,000 for 4 crore tamilian! whyu? it not only gives numbers, it also gives quality- medicine being a competitive field where patients look for the best and doctors try to provide the best possible making the profession marcket driven and competitive- less number of dictors makes their job easy and the profession stagnant. with a better (i don't mean honest- uncorrupt) governer in chair, i think it is easily possible to do the things

I agree Parbhat Ji

Yes,
You correctly pointed out. What before 1990 when our upper caste CM were there. ??? They too did not do anything great . I that is why say that RJD is not only responsible for the present plight of Bihar. Seed was grown much before but the tree grew in last 15 years. It was collective responsibilty. RJD had a great chance but unfortunately it did not do anything by just saying that central government was not cooperating( to some extent it is true). But what law and order maintainence has to do with Central government?????. Currently, how same IAS and IPS officers are maintaining law and order???

Prabhat Ji

I am open to criticism but at the same time I cant just watch people like Vikash and Pardesia speaking anything they want. Enough is enough...I have tried my best to refrain from personal attacks but people like these understand the language that I am using now. No, I dont know what that gentleman from RSS said. I am least interested in RSS, Cricket and Hindi Movies.

Sanatan, please

Don't teach History to Pardesi type frauds. These anti-Bihar people are liars to spread rumours.

Don't you know that recently great Rocket scientist K.C. Sudarshan, RSS sangh sarsanghchalak, informed us that British left India NOT due to any freedom struggle?

If Bihar gets developed

Punjab, Mumbai, Gujarat, Kerala ka kya hoga??

Do you think that Punjabis, Gujaratis, Keralites who learned tricks from British to go to foreign land will run our economy in organised/unorganised sector???????????

The scams coming from Canada and the UK are becoming a sad joke on innocent but naive people of Punjab desirous to leave for abroad at any cost.
Few months ago a Punjabi Jat Sikh woman from Australia was caught after she ripped half dozen families in a well planned scam. Punjabis tend to marry among same castes and they believe that should be enough to qualify. The same is now being repeated by many men and women from Punjabi people settled in other countries. The news has spread so wildly that any future cases may be treated with serious implications for the fraudusters. They may lose their freedom and probably will be serving jail time. A young man in Ludhhiana, Punjab thought he'd found his ticket to the good life abroad with an NRI wife, except that things didn't quite turn out the way he thought. Jagrup received a wedding proposal from a girl who was a Canadian citizen, and the wedding plans were quickly finalised. ..more..

But instead of the bride it was the police who arrived, saying the bride and her relatives were all frauds and were placed under arrest. That was not all. Before the marriage the bride's supposed relatives had demanded Rs 20 lakh from him, of which he had only managed to pay Rs 11 lakh, that too after taking a loan.
The remaining Rs 9 lakh were to be paid after he got his visa. In Punjab it's common for people to be duped by frauds promising them that elusive foreign visa, and as long as the craze to settle abroad continues, so will frauds like these.

This is a shame on Punjabi community specially the one in Canada, where cases of fraudulent marriages are becoming frequent. The Canadian authorities have arrested several people in recent times that showed fake marriages to get immigration documents. Many cases of a sister marrying a brother etc. have been registered. In the US a few families were arrested recently for similar unlawful activity. There have been an arrest of a whole gang comprised of Pakistani Muslim Punjabis in the UK last month that ran a scam to dupe innocent Pakistanis aspiring to migrate."

Pardesi---- learn History

Now that you are giving example of History of Bihar then tell me which state has given Samrat Ashoka and Maurya.Bihar has a very very long history. Here one of the most advanced civilization flourished which is comparable to any of the contemporary civilization of that time. Beginning around the fourth century BC the Mauryan Dynasty flourished under different Mauryan Monarchs for around 140 years followed by the Gupta Dynasty, who also ruled for another 200 years.

Bihar the ancient land of Buddha has witnessed golden period of Indian history. It is the same land where the seeds of the first republic were sown and which cultivated the first crop of democracy. Such fertile is the soil that has given birth to innumerous intellectuals which spread the light of knowledge and wisdom not only in the country but in the whole world .

original author of the Hindu epic - The Ramayana - Maharishi Valmiki - lived in Ancient Bihar. Valmikinagar is a small town and a railroad station in the district of West Champaran, close to the railhead of Narkatiyaganj in northwest Bihar. The word Champaran is derived from champa-arnya, or a forest of the fragrant Champa (magnolia) tree.

"It was Bihar that Prince Gautam attained enlightenment, became the Buddha- at the present Bodh Gaya- a town in central Bihar;

The figure of lions, atop a pedestal, with inscription of a wheel, was adopted as the Official Seal of the independent Republic of India (1947). Also, Ashok's dharma chakra was incorporated into the national flag of India.

"It was from Bihar that Mahatma Gandhi launched his civil-disobedience movement, which ultimately led to India's independence"

The British received, their first "object lesson" of the power of civil-disobedience. It also made the British authorities recognize, for the first time, Gandhiji as a national leader of some consequence. What Raj Kumar Shukla had started, and the massive response people of Champaran gave to Gandhiji, catapulted his reputation throughout India. Thus, in 1917, began a series of events in a remote corner of Bihar, that ultimately led to the freedom of India in 1947.

Sir Richard Attenborough's award winning film, "Gandhi", authentically, and at some length, depicts the above episode. (Raj Kumar Shukla is not mentioned by his name in the film, however.) The two images here are from that film. The bearded gentleman, just behind Gandhiji, in the picture on the left, and on the elephant at right, is Raj Kumar Shukla.

"This was also a period when Hindi literature came to flourish in the state. Raja Radhika Raman Singh, Shiva Pujan Sahay, Divakar Prasad Vidyarthy, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Ram Briksha Benipuri, are some of the luminaries who contributed to the flowering of Hindi literature

Pardeshi...dont talk abt History and dont ask about Bihar contribution before reading the history. Dont write things that just comes to your mind.

NRIs

I met many Biharis in different countries like USA, Canada, UK, Australia and all of them were highly educated. I am yet to come across a single Bihari who is a truck driver.

I have seen many Gujaris and Punjabis in these countries and most of them have Grocery shop, Truck drivers etc. They have been doing thse type of work since even before Indias independence.

But when Biharis do such work in India, it is bad.

Come to Canada, I will show you tht Gujarati Hindu shops are even selling beefs. BUT RSS has no objection to receive fund from them.
NRIs jo hai. 1 $ = 40 Rs.

Akshay jee

Please refrain from such castiest remark. Don't play Yadav-Bhumihar game. It reveals your feudal mentality.

As you have praised Bihari Babu, please learn Marathi and settle down in Mumbai.

Casteism has been practiced since time immemorial by whom???

Yadavs defeated Lalu in Madhepura. Low caste people don't practice it in daily life. Before 1990, many upper castes rocket-scientist became CM of the state and minister in centre by whose vote??? Why NOT a single Central University Bihar has??????? When Bihar had all the natural resources for industries, then all Industrial financial institutions were established in Mumbai, and our upper castes rocket-scientist CMs of Bihar did nothing.
When freight equlaization policy was brought then all upper castes people were NOT bothered to stop this as they were busy enjoying "shashan".

You have seen Bangalore and Delhi's glitter. Go to a village in AP or Maharashtra and see how farmers are suiciding and what is their condition.

You are educated, you have good life, you have seen the world then how come Bihar is backward?
Bihar was backward for poor people who were leaving Bihar for Mumbai, Delhi much before Lalu. But then Bihar was a good place for you. Even today you are least bothered when a Bihari mazdoor is thrashed. You are also a labour eager to work in US on H1. But you seek Green Card in 6 years BUT Bihari Mazdoor has NO place in Mumbai a own country.

I appeal, please don't play caste game on this MB.

Vikash

You said "He was denied all help from centre to help Bihar. After all Bihar is just a state of India, it is not a country."

Now laloo ji at center, what he is doing for Bihar. Ask him to get us IIT and AIIMS. Now he has no excuse too. And by the friends not att Biharis are in abroad due to their father money....atleast not the 8 of us who are here in one of the top universities of USA. What were leaders doing when Shiv Sena beat students from Bihar....why Laloo ji did not say that time " ki ye desh kisis ke baap ka nahi". I will tell you one thing ki Bihar bhi kisi ke baap ka nahi ki jisko bhi CM bana diye and jisko bhi MP ban diye.

Biharis only speak

To Prabhat and all
When will we realise that Biharis never had any say or respect anywhere in the country , at least since last 30 years?
Role of Bihar in the anarchic 1942 movement was significant but without any major sacrifice . Not a single prominent revolutionary came from Bihar. Quit India in Bihar centred on destroying Railway tracks ( continues till date--funny!).
Social movements arose in Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab , not in Bihar at all.In Bihar, we only had lalu,s so called social justice for which the less said the better. Not a single social reformer was born in Bihar.
Bihar actually needs to be merged with Bengal once again in the interest of Biharis only.

vikash

Vikash,
you are the first person on this forum whom I am not using Ji because you play too down. In your last 3 postings what you tried...is to say that I was the guy opposing IIT in Bihar and now I am speaking for the Bihar. Vikash the kind of politics you are trying to play is very chaep.
To keep the record straight I never opposed IIT set up in Bihar (read my posting with magnifying glass) but still I belive that upgrading existing institutes should be first priority as many Bihari students read in institutes like PMCH and NIT not all the students in IIT will be Bihari. However, I was happy to see the efoort of people who wrote the petition...go and check my signature is the %th one and atleast 70 of the whole signatory are my friends or relatives. So stop playing dirty politics and answer or atleast try answering my questions that I posted to you.
