Tree huggers united

....and I suppose you all now want to vote for George W so he can kill more trees, burn more fuel and generally make the world a nastier place. Look to the Columbian Sierra Nevada where there has been catastropic loss of snow/ice cover above 18000 feet, resulting in lasting damage to the ecosystem. Good on ya boys!!

Does anyone agree with an expected up move on the AUD to the .7378 range or beyond?

Aussie Election

Bad luck tree hugging comunity - Liberal's are bacl in and that IS GOOD for this country. Labor has ruined it before, so it is justification to not let them back in again! Now that liberals look like getting the balance in the Senate as well - look out unions, a shake up is in sight - and ABOUT TIME TOO!!!!

Get real man - little jonny is gone man & what is wrong with a bit of tree hugging - we need the trees to make the rain to make the grain grow & the dollar go up.

If the Liberals get back in, and the punters are backing them. Then I feel the dollar will go upwards. If labour gets in then the opposite. And if Bob Browny gets control of the senate we wont care anymore because we can all have gov funded sex changes and plenty cheap drugs thanks to the greens. We can get high and spend our days tree hugging.
So for the sake of the country and the dollar vote for johnny.

The little Aussie battler is going to be hurt because todays and tomorrows consumers are not making it into the world. 100,000 plus / annum are disappearing. Perhaps we should listen to the pro lifers a little more. The patter of little feet brings wealth and prosperity to many businesses and people.

When the results of the ANZ poll last Friday showed that 47% of respondents predicted the Aussie would rise this week I hoped that it was going to be the kiss of death for the currency and luckily this was the case. Going forward I suspect that the US data next week will be stronger than people are expecting and that this will further pressure the AUD towards 69.

oil is going mad and the share markets are retracing,my view is that this should help the Aud against the dollar, but alas, when one gives a view the market generally goes the opposite direction. I am still long on paper looking to close around the 70.70 to 70.80. Time is the guide now.
