CPI Accuses Laloo of Misleading, Twisting Facts Patna: March 29, 2004 Communist Party of India (CPI), yet another political party that has declared its political honeymoon with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Bihar over, lambasted the former Chief Minister of Bihar Laloo Prasad Yadav for lying to the public when he stated that the CPI had decided to go solo in Bihar without first consulting with its ally RJD. "It is appalling for Yadav to state that an alliance between the CPI and RJD could not take place as our party declared its decision to contest from four constituencies in Bihar without first consulting him", said the CPI state secretary Jalaluddin Ansari on Sunday. "Yadav deliberately avoided conducting any talk with our state or central leaders despite several such attempts made by our national leaders", Ansari said. "By offering Ballia seat to Surajbhan Singh of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Yadav closed the doors on us", he said. "To say that we did not wait long enough to have a meeting with the RJD chief is nothing more than a mis-statement of facts and a clear lie", a visibly upset Ansari said. |

Stories about few of our colleages ( of which i am proud): - 1) M.B;B.S- cleared written at NIMHNS- not interviewed because you are from Bihar we don't entertain people from Bihar- wrote to Bihar Assembly- matter discussed and condemned and forwarded to Indian government- competed UPSC- became IPS-worked for few years resigned - didn't get course of his choice in the state where his family had migrated long ago because he is from Bihar- now doing a difficult course of the same branch- future better because of his efforts and achievements till date; a simple Bihari would have withered. 2) M.B;B.Sfirst in the race through out the carrier- cleared all india exams twice - got admissions- ill treated because only member from Bihar- ?hyper reactive (being a Bihari?)- back to Bihar- did MS wrote exams for further studies- got seats- again ill treated-back to Bihar-present status not known. 3) Invited by other state friend- M.L.A. happy to see a doctor (?), stepped three steps behind when came to know that he is a Bihari! In one of his latest postings he claims "i can't leave the people of Bihar, at the same time i can't put my name and use harse words for my own people". But, as Asur/Mahishasur/Karthikeyan and other God-Knows-What names, his has used choicest of words for Bihar and Biharis. Manish is certainly a low morale creature. |
