Separate Existence

The Fabricate vessel,"Nigeria" has been in the heating crucible for a long time now,40years after the 1967-1970 civil war.It has indeed taken such a time to reach it's "separation temperature".Every events in the country especially the inhuman treatment of Ndi-Igbo,continued detention of Chief Raph Uwazurike etc are clear indicators. The separate existence is unstoppable!
The people of Biafran republic can't continue to co-exist with others in a country that they are denied their right of citizenship.A country filled with corrupt Ex-leaders; a country that its government sponsors child kidnapping;enforces marginalization;treat few selects as "above the law"; and has zero GDP!!!;we cannot be part of.
Let the hand-written on the wall be read, now is the time for action.Biafran republic is a reality.
Long live Biafra!,Long live Uwazuruike!!,long live Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu!!!,long live true Biafrans!!!

Biafra

It sadens me when people argue that igbo's should remain in Nigeria for peace sake.

The Hausa Man (Yaradua) would not put his tribal grude with the igbo's aside, hence the case of the Igbo's in Nigeria would continue to be case of the proverbal Kings son that begs for food.

The Igbo nation don't need handouts we want to control our destiny.

We where attacked and slaughtered by nigerians 3 decades ago over 2 million biafrans were killed to force us to belong to an association we choose not to.

We've been forced since then to belong to Nigeria at gun point by the political cabal.

Ask any man, woman or child of biafra decent if he wants to belong to Nigeria or Biafra and the answer would be clear.

Nigeria must let us go peacefully or the option left would be gorilla war which would be bloody and do us all no good.

Like Ralph Uwazurike, we call for a peaceful devolution from Nigeria, where hausa man on Douglas Road in Owerri would still live and do his business there provided he has a residence and business permit.

The Biafran doing business in Alaba still doing so provided he has residence and business permit from the Odua Nation.

The Oduan doing business in Kano still doing so provided he has residence and business permit from the Nigerian Nation.

Like the Scotish, Georgians, Ukrainians and Irish, we ask for no more than our fundermental human right. The rights to live and be govern by our own kins men.

We may be an imperfect state or even poorer than laos but we would be proud and stand tall as biafran. Free Free and Free.

Severance Payment,a Broad-day Looting!

Who is fooling who in Nigeria? All sorts looting is an every day occurrence, but only those perpetrated by "oppositions" are probed.
It's an ear-itch and of course an eye-sore to hear and read on radios/papers of the so called "severance payment" for ex-political holders!
what a loot of the treasury!! These were men and women who while in office looted to their fill at the expense of the poor masses, yet out of office they receive millions of naira in the name "severance payment" or what it could be called! The poor Nigerian masses are out there dying for hunger;not even a satchet of water to drink could be afforded but the commonwealth is being enjoyed be the few selects.God forbid!!
A stop must be put to this.
Let the constitution of Nigeria be amended to checkmate this ugly scenario.
And if at all such payments should be paid, let it be paid to those who serve honestly as office holders. But a case where every Tom and Dick is paid such money amounts to a "broad-day looting" of the already impoverished treasury of the nation.A stitch in time saves nine.

Biafra Nation

We urge every single one of you to:

“Have in you this mind which is in Ralph Uwazurike, the Leader of MASSOB!”

Long used to bribing Biafrans, especially the Igbo, and so-called Igbo or Biafran leaders, to sell Biafrans out, Nigeria has run into the real Biafran, an honest Biafran, the true Biafran, in the person of Ralph Uwazurike, an Igbo / Biafran who will not be bought, no matter how much Nigeria offers him to abandon Biafra and the MASSOB Biafra agenda.

For years, Nigeria, when money inducement failed, has used intimidation, followed by physical torture and even death, to get Biafra’s so-called leaders to succumb and support and carry out Nigeria’s lethal policies against Biafra. That is until now: today, Nigeria has encountered the quintessential Biafran, Ralph Uwazurike, who will not be intimidated, is not afraid to be tortured and not afraid to die, for the sake of Biafra’s cause, and in the course of Biafra Actualization. Nigeria has finally met that real human species called Biafran.

Applying a variation of the theme, Nigeria has in the recent past been using the tactic of offering posts and positions which on the surface appear to be influential or powerful, to Biafrans, using such to get Biafran so-called leaders and other elite to join with and support Nigeria in continuing to cheat and humiliate our people. (Truth be told, these posts lack power because an Hausa-Fulani or Yoruba man or woman will actually—

invariably—be placed in charge; the positions are a mere tokenism, the only motivation for Nigeria offering such posts being to exploit the power-seeking personal psychological needs of the succumbing Biafran so-called leaders.) Well, finally, Nigeria has met the true Biafran in Ralph Uwazurike, who has demonstrated to Nigeria that Nigeria has nothing to offer which would hold any appeal to him or to a true Biafran, for that matter; that next to Biafra, even the best that Nigeria has to offer—even if genuine—pales into oblivion in comparison.

Fellow Biafrans: the Nigerian government has tried bribery, promise of influential positions, intimidation, force and real threat of death, to get Ralph Uwazurike to renounce Biafra and to renounce the MASSOB Biafra agenda, but the answer from Uwazurike is a consistent, unwavering, principled and willful, No! to Nigeria. The Nigerian government is still trying to force Uwazurike to renounce Biafra as a condition for his release on bail from Nigeria’s jail. But, try as it may, Nigeria gets the same strong and negative response: a loud and clear No! is Uwazurike’s answer to the Nigerian government. He will not sign on to such unthinkable conditions even if that costs him his civic freedom and his life.

We could spend the rest of the broadcast extolling Ralph Uwazurike’s virtues as one of the few remaining real Biafrans: that will be well deserved, of course, and we indeed must express our appreciation to him for making Biafra proud again and proving that the Biafra Spirit is possessed of by some, still. We thank him for demonstrating the power of just one individual’s will—a veritable lesson for humanity. But, Uwazurike will be the first person to tell us that this is not about him personally, now: it is about Biafra, about Biafrans—about you and about me. This is about reminding everyone of us that we individually have a God-given WILL based on our God-given Rights, whose tremendous power is to be exercised whenever conditions so demand. Imagine manifesting such a WILL collectively, as Biafrans: imagine the immeasurable power generated, to be focused on getting our freedom through Biafra actualization? That is the meaning of Ralph Uwazurike’s defiance of Nigeria’s criminal inducements, lethal threats and pernicious actions against our people. We must cultivate and or reactivate that Spirit of Biafra by having in us that same Mind which is in Ralph Uwazurike when it comes to Biafra and Biafra actualization. That’s our weapon to Biafra actualization, our ticket to Biafra.

Brothers and sisters: Uwazurike has shocked Nigeria, proving to Nigeria what Nigeria has been so afraid of—that the indomitable Spirit of Biafra will manifest again. We know why Nigeria is afraid of Biafra: but, that is Nigeria’s problem—a mental sickness which Nigeria wants to hold on to forever; so, so be it! for Nigeria. Biafra has never made war to Nigeria or against Nigeria, except in Biafra’s self defense during the Biafra War of 1967-1970: History is clear on that. No region or group has demonstrated more altruistic and patriotic passion—even if completely misplaced—for Nigeria than Biafra; none has contributed more (and more positively) to Nigeria; neither has any integrated and tried so much to integrate into Nigeria more than Biafra. Through it all, all Nigeria has done is try with everything it possesses to suppress and annihilate Biafra and the Biafra Spirit, with uncharacteristic phobia and unjustifiable paranoia. And, for a while there, Nigeria thought it had succeeded. Well, that period is over. Biafra and Biafra Spirit is evident—is back!

Fellow Biafrans: Nigeria is mortally afraid of our coming together and of our being of one WILL: the Will to be free, the Will to have our own country, Biafra. Nigeria understands the power of such a Will, and is deathly afraid of that happening. Nigeria’s fears have been confirmed by its dealings with Ralph Uwazurike: there is such a Will, and it is super-strong and non-negotiable, and WE ARE EXERCISING THAT WILL.

It is our Moral duty now to get caught up with, and get in touch with, our WILL. We will exercise our Will to Live, our Will to survive, our Will to actually thrive, in actualizing Biafra and re-establishing Biafra. If Nigeria wants to take offense at this, that’s Nigeria’s problem. We have but one imperative: SURVIVAL, at no one’s particular expense but ours (certainly not at Nigeria’s expense), that we may thence thrive and fulfill our nature and Divine endowment.

We continue to demand that Nigeria release all MASSOB members and officials, including Uwazurike, the leader of MASSOB, himself, from Nigeria’s prisons. All that Nigeria will prove by continuing to hold them is Nigeria’s ongoing fear of Biafra, and the flipside of that coin: the certainty that Biafra has been willed into reality by Biafrans.

Have in you this mind that is in Ralph Uwazurike! when it comes to Biafra and Biafra actualization.

Biafra alive! Because it is God Who makes it so.

Idi Amin's Son Jailed In Britain

"Faisal Wangita (Idi Amin’s Son)
A son of former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin has been jailed for five years after being involved in a gang attack that left a man dead, British prosecutors said Friday.

Faisal Wangita, 25, was part of a 40-strong gang that attacked Somali teenager Mahir Osman, 18, in a busy street in north London in January 2006.

Osman was stabbed 20 times, attacked with baseball bats, bottles and hammers, punched and kicked and died within a minute, Britain's Crown Prosecution Service said. The attack was caught on camera.

Thirteen people were convicted over the attack at two trials that ended in April and last week, including three men found guilty of murder. Wangita was acquitted of murder in April but was then jailed for five years for conspiracy to wound and violent disorder for apparently kicking Osman when he was on the ground.

Wangita's conviction could not be reported until Friday because the judge had imposed a ban on reporting the outcome of the first trial until the second trial was finished. That ban was lifted Friday.

The jury was not told that Wangita was Amin's son because it was felt it would prejudice his case. But they were later told of his parentage by Judge Stephen Kramer, who described him as a "serious risk to the public."

Amin settled in Saudi Arabia after his overthrow in 1979, and died there in August 2003. Official papers showed Wangita was born in Uganda but he told police he was born in Saudi Arabia.

Amin, a former military cook, seized power in Uganda in a January 1971 coup. His eight-year rule was noted for human rights abuses, political repression, extra-judicial killings and the expulsion of Asians from the central African country. There is no exact figure for the number of people killed during his presidency — estimates range between 50,000 and 500,000.

The dictator's life was featured in last year's film "The Last King Of Scotland," for which actor Forest Whitaker won an Academy Award. Amin had 40 officially recorded children from seven official wives. Nothing is known about Wangita's mother".

Yes i want to remind all igbos that time has come for, us to think twice,it is time for us to develop our home, and stop covering all this swamp in another mans land, every avarage igbo man need to understand what i m talking about, there is no need of developing another mans land and leave our own undeveloped, i know how much it cost to cover a canal before you start building, but in our home there is nothing like canal but we left it undeveloped, all this market we are building in another man land is it a curse if we build it in our home or town apart from onitsha there are many other places we need to developed and build our markets in igboland, it will be very good if we develop our own home and built market in it,we are nigerian yes i agree but let unite and built our home, even if we dont like to live in igboland let us develop it like other cities we are developing,i believe that if all the houses in lagos state is 100 at least 70 of them belong to igbos again if all the market in lagos state is 10 at least 7 of them were built by igbo traders,i m not saying that we should not buit house or market in other cities but we need to develop our home town too,we need to learn from the past, Oliver DE coque in one of his music say that he who live in another mans house dont need to be planting flowers, we have two event that will teach us lesson ( 1) Biafra war (2) June 12 , we need to apply wisdom in whatever we are doing now, even some Igbos aggre to buy land propertise in some cities without CERFITCATE OF OWNERSHIP what a shame is like buying goods without receipt, what are we doing, i m very grad to hear from people that many igbos have start buying lands in Awka and other areas but there are other areas that need to develop and built markets in Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi and Abia state we need to develop all this places and built market in it,or are they not good for living and for business, i m convised that the money we use to fill canals before we start building in lagos state will built at least 4 bedroom flat in Igboland, so my brethren late us awake from sleep and built our home remember one igbo proverb say that( onye si gi nawa be gi ekpela onu gi na ya) and other one say that ( osisi ekwesighi idu mmadu na anya ugboro abua ) one of my friend vow not to build more than 2 bed room flat in another place apart from igboland and he did it he has house in Nnewi and Awka what a great idea so brethren let us awake and build our home now.....

E.F.C.C ARE SELECTIVE IN THEIR WORK

Yes E.F.C.C are selective in their job, since the have not invite all the former ministers, senators, and our former president Obasanjo and his vice Atiku including T .Anenih, I believe that they are selective in their job, the only fucos on the former gorvenors and forgot that ministers, senators including local goverment chairmen need to be prosecuted too, does it means that all this people left behind are all saints ? yes every person that held public office is subject to investigation especially political public officers, all this people need to face trial, there will be no sacred cow, does it means that only the governors embezelled public fund ? or are they above trial ? are they not Nigeria citizens? let them all face trial any person that found guilty let him/her face the penalities those that are not found guilty let them go free and enjoy themselves,i believe that some ministers and senactors embezelled public fund more than the gorvenors while the are in office, why they have not been ivited by E.F.C.C, why can't we be straight forward and give chance for justice, please E.F.C.C don't be selective in your job at all, invite all of them let them face trial if they are not guilty let them go free but if the found guilty let them pay for it....

Response

I read all your response. For those who sound constructive in their arguments, I salute your courage. For those whose trade mark is abusive languages, I feel for you. Silence is the best answer to a fool.
Wait till OBJ die, You will hear Nigerians praising him to high heaven. This was the sad story of the late Senate President Ewerem. May his gentle and mature soul rest in peace.

Why die analysing Sheriff Mohammed's madness?

This cocky, stupid, insane, effeminate and helplessly perfidious moron makes this forum less interesting and attractive. Haven't you guys noticed?

His views are too parochial as someone once said. If you drop BIAFRA and Obasanjo's "colossal" achievement, he will retire sulkingly into watching blue movies or begging in a UN-assisted somalian refugee camp.

You can frustrate him like Ricky, Olla Ayobami, ABCDEF Nwosu and his alter ego Bala Yakub so that here will be air of intellectualism

re:Mekus/Chiemeka/Okenwa/Sheriff

Mekus/Chiemeka/Okenwa,
Gentlemen, I have read all your posts, and I am almost certain that the vital contents are the same. So, please sheath your swords, and focus at your points. There won't be absolute consensus at every corner, the Nigerian politics is too complex for that matter.

Sherrif,
You may have your points, but the risk of being a self-assured idealist is that you walk a very thin line between the dream and the reality. The guy you quoted (off the guardian post) is a very good example; consistent, but too passionate in his delivery, therefore, often naive and narrow in his assumptions, considerations, and conclusions. BTW I once wondered if you were campaign manager to Rochas Okorocha, looks like you have since dumped him??

Cheers!
