Re: Sheriff Mohammed

Mr refuge, congratulations for being associated with the UN. But it seems with all your credentials, you don't still get my point. All I am asking if for you to mind your own business. If you are confused on where to use your expertise, start by giving all your brothers and sisters who roam all the major cities of Nigeria refuge. That way you can be useful to youeself and your oneNigeria.

Mr UN, you are quick to shove aside Turaki's stealing, by casually saying he should rot. Why didn't you go further to talk about the effect of what he has done to Jigawa, the North and Nigeria? Is it difficult to talk about because he is your brother-in-loot? Why must the stealing of an Igbo man be stressed more than that of a Nama?

Please remove the big log of wood from your eyes before you remove the micro chip from someone else's.

Biafra!!!

We can never be beaten twice, God forbid. Those who in this forum who pumps up whenever igbo issues are mentioned should desist from doing so. As an igbo man, I have all right in the world to speak freely. I am not yet in Nigeria where there is no freedom of anything. No one is actually calling for war, but if it comes, we will not run away. After all which other war is higher than the one we are into for decades now. Fashahu/Fredrick (OPC)and Asari Dokubo Niger delta released.Igbo man Uwazuruike (MOSSOB)the most peaceful one amongst the evil genius still in jail. Those with big one Nigeria mouth should justify it themselves.

I know this is not your name. You are only a coward not to be identified by your name. You are among idoits given Igbo bad names. Who from northern Nigeria in this forum that preaches mercy for Turaki? Let him rust in jail who cares. No sensible Igbo man or woman will allow you idiot doing stupid and dirty jobs in a white man's land push them into another senseless war. Go to Orji rivers you will never think of war with the gory sights of guys who were in their twenties when they fought the biafra war. What did you and others calling for biafra war do to elevate these poor people's plight? I cant just ignor idiots trying to cause trouble for innocent souls while thieves are enjoying their loots. I work with UN refugees and pretty know what Iam talking about. There is nothing better than diplomacy. If the Igbo want to break out of Nigeria, let them negotiates their break-up. All we dont want is senseless shed of innocent blood.

Uwazuruike to stay in Jail till September 18th .

Ndigbo! I would have said that Nigeria is taking the gentle strive of a cat for an act of cowardice, but I wouldn’t wanna say that because Nigeria already had a practical experience to the contrary, every Igbo man is more than ready to give his life when completely pushed to the wall. Ndigbo and none Ndigbo with conscience, don’t you think that Nigeria is simply trying the patience of Ndigbo?

How in Christ name is (in)Justice Binta Murtala Nyako gonna justify allowing this poor man to keep rusting in prison till September 18th? He grew def ear to calls from all angles to release this man who is the most peaceful of the people that are walking on our street today. Saying that it is an unhealthy development is saying the least.

Re: Sheriff Mohammed

You have come back to start talking your nonsense again abi? I thought you have gone to console your thief Turaki or gone to feed your heads of stolen cattles.

You are quick to talk about Igbo issues, but ever silent on the negativities happening in the north. Why do you wait for an Igbo-related post before you send one of your oneNigeria posts?

RE: BIAFRA

If you must take a risk, I advised you take a calculated one. I have said it in the past, nobody is holding the Igbo by force in the Nigeria project. If you want to pull out do it in a way that blood will not be shed. Look at the plight of the ex-biafrans at the Orji river resettlement center. Not even one of the eastern governors came to their aid. Call me mr one Nigeria, I dont care nor have anything to loss. I advise you look before you leap. Once beaten twice shy, but twice beaten pound foolish.

RE: Biafra!!!

I wish the game will just start as we are talking. I am sick and tired of all these imposers like Ojo Mmaduekwe.Surely, the clean up must start from the enemy within. The 1967-70 war will be a child play to this up coming. The abandoned properties of the igbos during and after the 1967 war will again be nothing to compare this time around. Very soon, Fashola will allocate another village in the snake island for igbo traders to develop, while Oba market which supposed to have been the commercial nerve center of Africa is overtaken by the snakes, lizards and erosion. Tufiakwa.

Re: Biafra!!!

I hope the plan include the elimination of Igbo saboteurs like the Ojo's and Andy's. Remember that a family member is the most dangerous enemy that anyone can have. We will Rawlings the enemy from within first and Rawlings that from outside later. This is to ensure that our plans and strategies are not leaked and there is uniform decisions and actions

Biafra!!!

As a matter of fact, the nation called biafra has come to stay.and nobody can stop it.biafran's real independence is around the corner.I only weep for our blind brethren who are building their future where there is none,i mean igbos acquiring landed properties at other places that is not part of biafra.(agwa nti ma onugi, mgbe aga egbu isi ya na nti ga e soro)we the biafrans need to create the awareness, although the trend has already started here,we have a union here.nobody should henceforth build acquire or buy any house, company, etc in anyplace that is not part of biafra,i know it is a matter of time before it will be globally happening.i believe whenever biafra will rise for the itself,1967/70 war will look like a child's play.now we are all over the world,we have got a lot of knowledge, experience and the connections needed to succeed.we will never rush to a war ,like we did in the late sixties, the unplanned war.this time we are taking our time to map it all out.when the time comes, who is the obasanjo or the gowon that will stop biafra?we are wiser now and as every family is now slowly acquiring their selves with pump action machine guns,i don't think this time there is going to be civilians among us,we will defend port-Harcourt as if it is our shrine, nothing like blockade again will happen,we will be able to reach any part of Nigeria with our rockets, the war will affect every part of Nigeria,we are now being recognized by a lot of would be concerned countries, countries that matters are now being lobbied, they sympathize with us quietly,we already know ibos are the most populous ethnic group within Nigeria, excluding ibos in diaspora, estimated to be around 20 to 30 million people, remember how the hausas used to kill biafrans in the north, until the union made it compulsory for everybody to be armed, now any mallam that wants to quickly go to heaven for the 27 virgins, let him dare shout nyamiri with a dagger and lets see what happens.any killings in the north will be reprized in the biafran territory, nigerian aging war planes will all be brought down by shoulder fired missiles alone,i repeat, every igbo family now has a member of their family in diaspora, that means the aged and toddlers will be taken care of abroad.nothing stops a total bloody war for the restoration of biafran dignity, pride and territory we have been pushed to the wall, resistance is only the option left.let the war begin

Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
On December 10, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the full text of which appears in the following pages. Following this historic act, the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and “to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories.”

Preamble

Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Whereas Member States have pledged themselves to achieve, in co-operation with the United Nations, the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

Whereas a common understanding of these rights and freedoms is of the greatest importance for the full realization of this pledge,

Now, Therefore THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY proclaims THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.

Biafra Nation

Fellow Biafrans:

The cost of occupation of our land and space—Biafraland—by Nigeria, is very high: we are the ones who bear the entire burden. The price that we pay daily for the destructive ongoing occupation of our land, Biafra, by Nigeria, takes many forms. Keep in mind that contrary to common sense, the cost-burden is not limited to those of us living, suffering and dying now, but is extended to our children and their generations unborn. And that’s not just in Biafraland, but anywhere else in the world, other places where our people are known to thrive.

A major and obvious area where we pay dearly as a result of finding ourselves forced into Nigeria, is Security—or lack thereof. Starting right from our houses and homes, there is no security at all. We live in anxiety in our own houses, wondering not if, but when, armed robbers will attack and pillage. Windows are double-barred and doors triple-locked—God forbid there be a fire, wherein entire families would perish for not having easy escape routes from their burning house. Proceeding from there, moving around is also risky and extremely dangerous. The Nigeria Police which has an open license to loot and kill Biafrans in Biafraland are ever willing, happy and eager to dispossess our people as a policy and kill them for good measure: no one can challenge them, no one can stop them. If you walk, you are not safe. If you drive, you are not any safer: if armed car-jackers don’t get you, the poor condition of the roads will destroy your vehicle and more importantly, cost you life and or limb in unnecessary vehicular accidents. Travelling to and around Biafraland has become a high risk and prolonged ordeal which discourages movement of any type—be it for personal, business, or social reasons, or just for pleasure.

As you all know, anyone travelling back into Biafraland from abroad is subjected to unbelievably “sharp” practices and criminal harassment. It matters not whether the traveler resides abroad and is just temporary visiting home, or lives at home and just returned from a temporary visit abroad. Starting from the airline trip itself where our people are exposed to insulting treatment (and even chemical fumigating agents which could be dangerous when inhaled, for example, by triggering an asthma attack), to arriving anywhere else in Nigeria, but not in Biafraland (because the International Airports are deliberately sited outside of Biafraland), the ordeal is almost unbearable. Travelling from any part of Nigeria into Biafraland to complete this trip exposes our people to armed robbery, swindling, loss of personal effects and possessions, serious accidents, unduly long delays and constant, repeated nasty encounters with the Nigeria Police checkpoints, there to be extorted, threatened, and even killed. Then, the weary traveler, having finally straggled home, has to sneak in quietly and lie low for a few days, because, when the “Boys” learn that the traveler is home (as they are bound to), they will pay the traveler the dreaded visit demanding “their share”:—God help the traveler if he or she has no “gift” for the “Boys,” because, not even the routine practice of Diaspora travelers hiring bodyguards for the trip and for their stay at home will save the traveler from bodily harm or even death.

What a way to live—or suffer—and die! in fear and an anxiety-ridden life! What a price we Biafrans and our land pay for being force-occupied by Nigeria! There are other ways that we continue to pay. For example, recently, our people have been compelled to go into a “Self-Help Only” mode by the anti-Biafran and pernicious policies of the government of Nigeria against our people. Consider that the government of Nigeria has been engaged in the Desert Reclamation Project in Northern Nigeria, spending lots of money to plant trees and groundcover, while supporting the effort with sturdy water-supply and irrigation. In so doing, a significant part of the usually arid Northern Nigeria has been turned into a belt of arable land. Thus, with Nigerian government spending and help, even professional and commercial White farmers from South African and Zimbabwe have relocated to Northern Nigeria to take advantage of the new government-created and supported farming land. Elsewhere, the government of Nigeria has constructed a Northern Nigeria-to-Niger Highway designed to provide Northern Nigerians with access to the Atlantic Ocean and or the Mediterranean Sea. Contrast that with what the same government of Nigeria has done in Biafraland—or, has not done. Federal Nigeria roads in the region are either not constructed, not completed, or not serviced at all. The crucial Onicha Bridge has not been repaired, never mind, rebuilt. There is a concerted effort on the part of Nigeria to actively deny the region functional International airports while other parts of Nigeria are practically littered with such airports, even when it is a known that local flying clientele are scarce. So, how do our people respond? “Self-help,” they call it. We are supposed to tax ourselves—and will, in fact do so, in order to build in our land what the Nigerian government is supposed to provide. For example, the Erosion Problem in the northern parts of Biafra territory is a problem of inter-National and inter-Regional magnitude with its epicenter in Biafraland. This is a problem so massive that only governments can tackle. But, not the government of Nigeria! and not while Biafraland bears the worst of it. As such, we lose lives, lose property, lose real estate for farming, for habitation, and lose ecological systems, our so-called Self Help efforts completely dwarfed and rendered a joke by the size and complexity of the problem that confronts us. But, that’s not even all we are paying for this. We also pay every time Nigeria favors other regions with government projects: we fund Nigeria’s expenses, directly, to the tune of 95%, through Biafra’s Delta Oil.

When actualized, the Sovereign Independent Nation of Biafra with its autonomous groupings will finally and completely put an end to such endless headache, bellyache, and expensive exploitation of our people. Enforced laws (laws made by the people, in the first place, and, for the people) and a law-abiding citizenry who participate directly in, and are in charge of, their government and governance, will bring security back to our Biafraland. Our known Culture of Honesty and Hardwork, once restored by Biafra actualization, will provide the erstwhile missing context and environment permissive of honesty, accountability, and respect for the people, respect for property and for property-ownership and respect for the law. The government of Biafra knows and understands its obligations to the people of Biafra, and will discharge those obligations with full commitment and excellence; else, be charged with contempt and malfeasance and replaced right away, should she fail the people. One positive thing comes out of our sour experience in Nigeria: Biafra will never be like Nigeria; there is no chance that Biafra will come out like murderous Nigeria. For, Biafra is the antidote to the sickness called Nigeria.

For this reason, we appreciate the efforts of (members of) MASSOB and its leader, Ralph Uwazurike, who re-introduced Biafra to us in 1999 in order to salvage us from corruptive, corrosive, leprous Nigeria. And for this reason, we continue to demand their release from Nigeria’s prisons—the unconditional release of Ralph Uwazurike, Uchenna Madu, other MASSOB officials, and other MASSOB members, along with all those imprisoned because they are doing pro-Biafra actualization work. There is no Moral justification in stopping someone who wants out of a murderous relationship which one did not consent to in the first place, but was forced on the one. It is only those without a conscience—an ungodly bunch—who will find fault with a move away from unwanted, unjustified, unnecessary and continuous injury and exploitation. Uwazurike et al have committed no crime: they have done what Nature herself commands us to do in a situation such as we find ourselves. And, that’s what we will all do: seek and actualize Biafra, that we may live. And seek the release of leaders of Life and Light—MASSOB members and their officials and all of us followers of MASSOB, for such they are who seek bafra.

Biafra!

Biafra alive! Because it is God Who makes it so.

AC Nwosu

The guy with the name AC Nwosu might not be an igboman , I suspect is someone who feel bad with the postings in this forum and decided to use a camouflage tactics to dishonor the igbos in this forum, discourage forumites and ethnicize the forum. I strongly beleive the person has another name in this forum.

Check out a similar reaction after some minutes from someone who regularly writes on the forum , a one nigerian hypocrite. This guy's write up is always to demoralize the forumites and discourage people from writing. I assume that he is the AC Nwosu or someone from his camp.

Who in a hell is AC Nwosu

I am highly disgusted and dismayed by the posting of the idiotic AC Nwosu, who is ashamed of being an Igbo man.How on earth could someone in his right senses be ashamed of being an Igbo man.
From what people are saying about the arrest of Kalu, nobody is defending Orji kalu, everyone is condenming the selective justice approach adopted by the federal governemnt and EFCC in prosecuting corrupt public officials.Tony Anenih as the former minister of works squandered billions of naira, but he is scot free.Bode George as the director of NPA looted billions of naira, but nobody is talking about that.
The son of Obasanjo was alleged to have billions of naira in his account, nobody cares to investigate it.I stand in the truth, not on ethnic sentiments. If EFCC and the government feels that they want to try all corrupt politicians,it should be all inclusive without any ethnic, political or economic undertone.
I feel bad when someone who is an Igbo man try to scandalise his ethnic group. It means that you have lost your origin.
I am sorry for AC NWOSU,for he must be a confused fellow.

For The Attention of Ribadu

In the spirit of honesty and truth,it must be herein appreciated of the great and untiring efforts of "EFCC",chaired by the man,Ribadu, in sanitizing the country of bad eggs especially among the politicians. They have obviously messed up the image of Nigeria both withing and outside! We don't worth any weight on a scale of domestic development, technological advancement and much more good guality universites that meet international standard. This is shameful!
And in as much as EFCC is doing all it could to bring to book all past corrupt ex-governors ,I hereby appeal to Ribadu to be consious in freezing accounts of those found culpable while serving in office vis a viz the SUN newspapers account owned by Orji Uzo Kalu.At best, let whatever public fund that was "looted" and used for building the firm be recovered from the owner and allow the establishment to keep running.
The reason here is that Nigeria as a nation is already bastardized with joblessness of the teeming populace. And when such a firm as SUN newspapers folds up,it will amount to more woes of unemployment!Of course, crime will peak up the more and indeed emergence of more dependencies on the few employed.
So,let EFCC show deep caution while executing its duty.
