RE:Chief Olusegun Obasanjo

Your name sounds repulsive, Your chieftaincy title is to steal. You sound like a dictator. Your writing is very disgusting. You are an Hausa man in yoruba mask. You are a womanizer. You hate the igbos. You belong to Ogboni. You are a born again christian. Why do you write in Orji Kalu forum ? Where is your own forum ? Oh ! Yes, in Ota farm . I know from there , you made the decision to nail Kalu and Dariye that have been given you tough time.

But, I praise you because you controlled Nigeria from Lagos for two years , 8 years from Abuja in the presence of deadly mallams and now you control Naija from Ota farm. I raise my cap for you.

re:U wazurike: We are only Shifting the D-Day

Jon, You have spoken well; Uwazurike should be free, like the OPC and sundry warlords. My disagreement, however, is with the suggestion that disintegration presents the most viable option to the problems with Nigeria. Not necessarily so, sir.

For one, your analogs are societies that have evolved far beyond the fundamental challenges of modern governance. Scotland, Canada, and even the old Yugoslavia are societies, where the ordinary man, not only understands his rights, but also, is equipped with the means of defending such rights. The choice of sticking together or breaking up, in such societies, is therefore a matter of free, informed, often sentimental preference: it is not primarily driven by the need to fix basic socio-economic problems.

We first need to build a culture of true freedom, accountability, and the rule of law. A society where healthy values are entrenched, and the ordinary man is free to decide, e.g, in a referendum, whether or not he wants to belong in Nigeria, devoid of threats to his life or his dignity.

To do otherwise, and to coerce/cajole the masses into a break-up, whose fundamental consequences they do not fully understood, is a sound recipe for the larger chaos in the west African region; far beyond the level of Liberia and Sierra Leon, joined together. The disintegrated units are not likely to keep the peace within and across the boundaries, and there sadly will be no Nigeria to lead ECOMOG to our rescue.

Questions !!!

My own problem is when will the the present constitution be amended in Nigeria? And when will Nigeria adopt a true federalism? If the constitution is amended today , is it going to be done properly since the president and the senate president are northerners? Is it a conspiracy to have made the senate president a northerner so that he will not alter anything that will jeopardize the interest of north ? Since the interest of north conflict with southern interest. The conspirators knowing full well that in the next 8 years something will be done on the militarised constitution . Here they appear to be smart and forsighted.

I am worried because I feel the military tyranny imposed on others in the military era has metamorphosed to a civilian form and will likely advance if the constitution is not amended and a true federalism adopted

RE: Noncho

MY DEAR NONCHO, I CAN SEE THAT YOU SEE NOTHING WRONG IN ORJI UZOR KALU AND THE REST OF OTHER POLITICIANS USING THEIR PRIVATE OWNED DAILY PAPERS TO JETTISON AND JEOPARDIZE THE RIGHT FOR AN ORDINARY NIGERIAN TO HAVE A RELIABLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION.
WELL I DONT BLAME THEM, NEITHER DO I BLAME YOU. ONE , FOR THE PACT THAT IF THEY PUBLISH ANY NEWS DETRIMENTY TO ORJI KALUS IMAGE, THE FACE SACK AND THE HAMMER OF OKIJA SHRINE OF WHICH THEY SWORE TO WILL STRIKE THEM.
AND FOR YOU:
YOU SAID THAT YOU ARE AN ABIAN. AM SURE YOU ARE JOKING OR A MERE VISITOR TO ABIA BECAUSE WE HAD 8 YEARS OF LOOTING OF STATE GOVERMENT MONEY RATHER THAN DEVELPOMENTAL DISPENSATION. I QUITE AGREE THAT IN HIS FIRST 2 YEARS,MAYBE, HE WAS ON THE RIGHT TRACK AND WE ALL HAILED HIM AS ACTION GOVERNOR AT LEAST FOR SOME ROADS THAT HE BULIT AND WE EXPECTED MORE BUT INSTEAD OF DRIVING POWER, HE ALLOWED POWER TO DRIVE HIM. THEN CAME THE SCATHING NEWS ABOUT SWEARING OF OATH TO A DIETY.THE SUN NEVER COMMENDED ON THAT. I HOPE YOU HAVENT FORGOTTEN THAT WHATEVER THE DEVIL GIVES WITH THE RIGHT HAND , DEFINITELY HE MUST TAKE WITH THE LEFT. HE IS NOT A FREE GIVER.
I THINK HIS PRESENT TRAVAIL IS JUST DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS TIME FOR THE DEVIL TO COLLECT.
OUR POLITICIANS HAVE FAILED US, DECEIVED US AND BROKEN OUR HEART WITH UNFUFILLED PROMISES , NOW YOU ARE SUPPORTING THE PRESS THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE BUT HAVE TURNED AROUND TO BE A POLITICAL MACHINERY.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A RETHINK AND APOLOGIZE TO ABIANS AND NIGERIA IN DIASPORA FOR YOUR UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT OF THE SUN MISINFORMATION.
THANKS

Re: Ofeke

Ofeke, I refuse to accept your position on this, yes, it may be true that the search light seems to be more focused on Igbo governors, I welcome such focus and actually, am asking for more.

If the special focus that EFCC is keeping on the SE governors will scare and make them work effectively to the benefit of our people, fine.

If they want they can let the jihadists governors to embezzle all the resources of their states. What you should ask yourself is who gains in the long run??? The dwellers of the states where their governors are left to swim away in the ocean of corruption, or the dwellers of states where their governors are stricken by fear of EFCC.

Am from the same place with Chimaroke Nnamani, a journey from Enugu city to my villa now takes about 20 mints while it used to take hours, thanks to Nnamani, Agbani has turned to a big metropolitan city - thanks to Nnamani, the whole of Nkanu benefited more than any other part of the state, but come on, the man because of his closeness with OBJ blindly bulged questionable wealth.

My position: let the search light be focused on them, on our new governor, may be that will compel them to use at least half of the resources the state has on the people and not on themselves.

A thief is a thief , that OBJ stole 1trillion and is YET to be brought to book does not mean others should be floating. Is it a secret that OBJ is still in power? His time will come when he loses it, if not today then tomorrow, but he will not go unpunished, if not with Ribadu, it will come with another person.

Re: Ofeke, you sound biased

Ofeke, while I may agree with you on certain issues you raised particularly on the issue of 'emperor' Obj expressed and implied hatred against the Ibos, I beg to disagree with you on some of the issues particularly on the EFCC arraignment of ex-govs. Ofeke, it's high time we should jettison all those sentiments you're trying to invoke and face issues with sincerity. EFCC may be teleguided by few forces like 'stinking emperor' himself, but I vehemently objected your submission about their selective judgement. Are Turaki and Dariye ibos? I beg for an answer if you don't mind. Well, it's obvious that other thieves (ex-govs) are yet to be arraigned, but don't forget that EFCC are mere humans and cannot practically arraign all of them one day. So, I think it's too early to start crying wolves, as there is none yet. Besides, those arraigned governors should be left to account for their stewardship. After all, they are not denying the allegation but are foolishly diverting attention using aborted 3rd term as excuse, which in my own estimation is not a convincing excuse to have impoversihed the masses just for their own selfish interest. Ofeke, I would rather reason with you, on other issues like imposition of morons and sycophants like Ojo Maduekwe as ministers when Igbos have gotten better stuffs to take such position of responsibilities and who could do us pride like Soludos, Ezekwesilis, Okonjo-Iwealas, Akunyilis etc.

To Whom it may concern

I recall before and during the selection period. OBJ used everything he had to cripple Kalu and every igbo man and those that has similar igbo names. He succeeded. Ever since he failed to bribe kalu for his 3rd term elongation, Kalu and in fact all the igbos have committed crime against the parson of OBJ.

There are few reasons why I keep saying that OBJ is evil and every derm thing he represent is evil. He has a natural haterate on the igbos. He OBJ will prefer to die than to see the igbo nation see the light of the day. And I Ofeke 1, said that he OBJ will live to see the igbo liberated.

1.Frederick and Fashohu (OPC)released. Asari Dokubo (Niger delta Militant)released and Uwazuruike (Biafra)not released. Can anyone justify it. Just out of wickedness and hate.

2. Bola Tinubu (Yoruba)not invited by EFCC, Boni Haruna (Hausa) not invited by EFCC, then Orji Uzo kalu (Igbo)detained by the EFCC and every other eastern governors on the run. No one should get me wrong here, why is that, it is only the igbos that Nigeria will be using to set examples?

I want to ask this question, is it only in the south east states that we have these crooks? Is OBJ and Yaradua just wanted to tell the whole world that they are fighting corruption? Why is this humiliation of the igbo's sons? Is it not time we igbo's should get our act together and fight for what Uwazuruike and indeed every sons and daughters igbo nation deserved?

The trend of these humiliations is in fact getting out of hand. Is this man called OBJ a witch that goes around (ndi-igbo)houses in the night to scare the hell out of them? He failed in imposing Andi Uba to the good people of Anambra. He is doing everything humanly possible to inject this virus called OJO Mmaduekwe to the igbos, and of course he has chosen another moron (Egwu)that he can easily manipulate to head the highest post left for Ndi-igbo as PDP chairman.

Let me ask this question in a different way,are we the (igbo's) coursed, stupid and dump?

EFCC ,Well done but beam your searchlight further

Well, to many doubting Thomases, it's becoming a reality that EFCC is trying to wake up from its lulled slumber. EFCC should by now be convinced that many Nigerians are curiously watching to see what would be the outcome of their purported corruption crusade. It's commendable at least for now how they have been able to dare the ex-governors particularly for nabbing the con master himself by the name of Chimaroke Nnamani, inspite his feigning of illness.I suppose he should be suffering from EFCC anxiety fever, and having him as a regular guest behind bar is enough therapy to cure him, so that he would face the reality and account for his stewardship to Enugu state.I can see his day of reckoning fast coming, and the blood of innocent souls he diabolically wasted while in power are about to avenge. This is just the beginning of his woes and even his trumpet blowers (sycophants)like Igbonekwu Ogazimorah should learn from his ordeal that wasting resources in propaganda like he did while in office would not be effectual at the momement. The law of karma and other natural laws are already setting in. It's my candid appeal to EFCC that they should not be made to compromise the good works they are doing of ridding from our polity grand thieves. We are looking forward to seeing more and more of them being arraigned and jailed consequently. I just wish the jail term would not be a mocked one like that of Tafa Balogun. Nigerians are behind you guys, and it would be a legacy worth laying if you even beam your searchlight to Ota,and other places where those thieves in agbada are hiding at the moment.Their days of freedom should be numbered.

U wazuruike: We are only Shifting the D-Day

What Uwazuruike and His MASSOB are doing are not different from what the Scottish National party (SNP) is doing in the United Kingom. Over there, they are campaigning towards Scottish independence from the union of Britain. Still neither of their leaders nor followers are accused of treason or anywhere in jail. In fact two months ago, the SNP won majority into the Scottish assembly and becomes the dorminant party in Scotland ahead of the labour party and the Tories and had promised a referedum om the independent question. Their leader just like Uwazuruike is the today the Scottish 1st minister.

In Canada too, the Quebecan are also vocally calling for Quebec autonomy and independence from the greater union of Canada. Nigeria authorities should know that time has changed, and that people know their rights now more than ever before, that time will come when they had to recognise the human right calls for peaceful Biafra independent from Nigeria. The present Biafran generation are not as tolerant as their parents in the 60s, one has to point out.
Unlike in the 60s, wars no longer stops when it starts as the world is not awashed with all manners of weaponry and it can go on and on and nobody wants that kind of life.

They should stop listening to their paddy friends of Igbo extration, who decieve them of their commitment to one Nigeria. As it's reasonable to understand that every Igboman is a MASSOB member either secretly or openly. When you look back in history, you had to admit that the Biafrans did not stop fighting the war because they realised they had made a mistake for leaving Nigeria or that they had develop a sudden love for project Nigeria after seceding. They stopped because of the blockade sponsored by Britain and USSR and implemented by Ahmadu Ahidjo of Cameroon that by using hunger to estaminate the Biafrans. So it's no surprise that the now generation of Biafran will re-ignite what their parents suspended because of hunger and starvation and it's unlikely to ever go away.

The earlier the Nigeria authorities call for a referendum on the Biafran question, the better for the future to be spared of such ugly things that befall those that had used force to hold a people, a nation against their wish and choice of a nation. Just look at the former Yugoslavia.

Between Corruption and the Fueding Masters.

Whereas both Chief OBJ (all correct sir), Chief Kalu (onwa), etc, are our masters. Our duty in the matter of corruption is to let justice serve it's course. Nobody offers freedom on a platter of gold, and until ordinary Nigerians salvage themselves from the shackles of master-rulers, we shall forever remain retarded.

Let us, therefore, practice the expressed desire to nurture the rule of law in Nigeria. Being arraigned for an offense is not tantamount to guilt. Chief Kalu and co are therefore presumed innocent until proven guilty. larger masters are arraigned in the better societies that we aspire to emulate, and the skies do not fall. Let whoever has substantial issues against anybody (including Chief Obj) file their proper cases, and permit the law to take it's proper course, without all the unnecessary drama.

And whatever be the verdict, so long as justice is seen to have been served, all must accept (or appeal the verdict) for the growth of civilization in Nigeria.

As for the Sun, let us not pretend that we do not understand the Nigeria that we currently have. The boys must survive. And between Chief OBJ, Chief Kalu, and the rest of the other Chiefs and masters that we serve in Nigeria, someone (or two) must dictate the tune.... until that day, when the ordinary Nigerian will be truly free.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Why dont you guys leave The Sun alone. The fact that it has given you a forum to air your views is enough to ignore whatever imperfection it has.

I do not know if it is really owned by Orji Uzor Kalu and seriously, I do not care. If he is the owner, then he is justified to do whatever he likes with it. Afterall, it is what freedom of expression is about. If it your own, you probably would have done the same, if not worse.

If you are sure The Sun is owned by Kalu, and believe that it is the reason for the ever positive news about him, then ignore the news that potrays him as a saint and focus on other news. If you feel that he is not a good person and you cant stand to ignore that the paper potrays him as one, you have the option to stop visiting this site, after all there are other newspapers.

The fact that you keep coming back says something that only you can answer. As for me, it gives me an avenue to air my views, listen to other people's arguements and learn a few things.

I read whatever catches my fancy, and ignore the rest. If he owns the newspaper, then it is only natural that the paper portrays him as a saint. This is to ensure that his supporters continue to toe in that direction and maybe convince a few more to do same.

He is either guilty of the charges against him or not. No matter what it is, he has to use all his resources to ensure that he scales through. If The Sun is for him, then it is one of his resources to use and he has the right to, PERIOD.

Note: Before some people start to make unnecessary conclusions, I am not from Abia stste and do not have ties to The Sun or Kalu.
