Ofeke: You're too mean

Ofeke, we're all heading the same direction but I think we're towing different path. Every honest Nigerian knows that those cabals you mentioned: Obj and co are the bane of our problem as a country. What annoys me most is the kind of importance and attention that people and press ascribe to holigans like Adedibu, Ubas and other undeserving fools. I wish press should have a rethink in bringing those idiots to limelight in the name of beaming their torchlight where they are. It appears that Nigeria press is even reinforcing their criminal acts by way of reporting every single movt of people like Adedibu. What's the business of Nigerians if adedibu is sick, but press made issue out of it. Are there not better things to cover or write on that would interest and education the viewing public instead of wasting pages of newspapers celebrating grand thieves and holigans like adedibu or anini. Surely, nemesis would catch up with them some day just as it had caught up with characters like Ebeano(Chimaroke), Turaki etc.Isn't it shameful that a whole governor like Turaki is crying like a baby when nothing has actually happened. Maybe tears in his eyes would dry up before EFCC finish with him and drill him to Kirikiri or other places that are reserved to people of his sorts. But for the self styled 'emperor'Obj he'd as well realize that time would tell.I see no reason why arraignment of ex-govs should raise any dust in Nigeria, as they (ex-govs) dug their graves while in power. Others will follow suit in no distant time. Just watch out as GOD is acting fast on the prayers of the suffering masses.

RE: Amadi

Dont mind the useless Sherif Mohammed. He does not have time to write but he has time to read.

Someone mentioned his name on the forum and after few hours , he replied. That means he reads the writeups on the forum every second. It is not interesting and he has no time but he reads every writeup everyday. Yeye Mallam.

He wants to silence us by his archaic tactics.

RE:Sheriff Mohammed

I have decided to keep quiet and read funny people who do not know their right from left take over the forum. It takes two to tangle. I have no more precious time to waste discussing irrelevant issues. I have come to conclude that, this forum is based on ethnicity. If an Igbo man steals and he is arrested it becomes an offence in this forum. Keep destroying yourself. Nigeria is bigger than anybody--- By Sherif Mohammed.

Your aim whenever you write on this forum is to blackmail it, ethnicize it and make the forumites stupid and tribalists.
We know your goal. You want to discourage forumites and at last make the forum dead.I assure you that you will fail and the truth shall always prevail. I personally , will go on writing and the more your attack , the more I write.Infact, I feel that I make the best use of my time by writing on this forum.

Accountablity!

Let 'them' permit the 'favored' governors to loot their state treasuries, if they so please. It is a blessing that the eastern state governors are being challenged to accountability.

It will benefit the ordinary Igbo man, if the so-called persecution stops the looting governors from diverting public funds.

They should rather use the funds to develop projects that will bring sustainable development. They should rather sober-up, and forge alliances that will bring development to the people: e.g, TINAPA, Olokola LNG, the proposed EPZ's in Lagos and Ogun States, farms in kwara, etc.

The love for Ndigbo cannot justify the looting of their treasury, by a few individuals, under whatever guise. Or, Ndigbo don't have to seek farther for the real enemies.

I said it before and I will continue to say it over and over again. I do not condone evil. Kalu, Nnamani, Udenwa and Egwu are same bird in the same feather. I give example of these four igbo governors, because I do not want ethnic sentiment here. Kalu is the OBJ's target period. If I may ask,is Kalu the worst of all?

He OBJ who's happiness only come from seeing the igbo's surfer have chosen another agent of destroyer for another 8years in there midst. Egwu and Ojo Mmaduekwe. In 1999 was Emeka offor. 2003 was Uba families. They have been used and dumped. The same Egwu who took directives from his god OBJ to refused Kalu's party (PPA)rally in Ebonyi will be rewarded with PDP chairmanship.

All I just wanted is to see NUHU RIBADU and his EFCC to arrest the likes of Adedibu, Anenih, IBB, Abdulsalam Abubaka and most importantly OBJ. I do not want to wait until heaven falls before these wicked beast will be put behind bars where they belong. Then I will in fact pick the likes of Kalu & co by myself because he Kalu have a big case with me.

The wicked should be punished, but let them not be partial.

People !

Listen , what anyone assumed is feeling ethnic hatred in the modus operandi of EFCC and any other governmental agency is that there is always ethnic conspiracy to serve the interest of some ethnic group and severe the interest of others. Take for example , there are somany corrupt politicians in Nigeria in the last administration but only some very few are arrested and the key arrest are those peceived politicians from the south that are pulling strong muscle with federal might with one or two from the north to camouflage the conspiracy behind the real motive. By so doing, systematized phobia is created in the minds of the southern politicians and when this is done, the necessary amendements needed in nigerian political setup will not take place since the southern politicians who should fight for the changes are frightened. Constitution amendment, a true federalism and power decentralisation are all against northern interest and only strong political forces from the south can make these changes possible.

To elaborate further, Odili was pulling a strong political force some months before PDP primary election, and all of a sudden Efcc branded him a corrupt tiger and made Yaradua a saint. This automatically handicaped Odili and paved way for Yaradua. However, they also painted Duke white knowing fully well that he cannot make any political impact.

Today, someone can rightfully say that Orji Kalu is the most powerful political giant in the south. Upon all the fight between him and aso rock, this guy formed a viable political party and his party won two governorship race in two states and is likely that with time PPA will grow to be a cogent party that can challenge PDP and ANPP. And if that happens the political domination of some groups is threatened. Based on this probably they finally decided to put Kalu to a real test , since this is the only way to stop him from developing and making PPA a strong party.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that Kalu is innocent , but all what I am saying is that antigraft crusade need to be transparent and credible devoid of conspiracy and dependence on some powerful forces. When it is the opposite , then it has lost its flavour , it becomes a charade and its real purpose cannot be achieved.

What is wrong if Efcc pick the 31 corrupt governors, some corrupt ministers, OBJ, IBB and prosecute them publicly . Don't tell me that Efcc has not gotten enough evidence to carry out this project. It won't because some are sacred cows and others are second class citizens in their own land.

Turaki

Governor Turaki will not enjoy anybody's sympathy, at least not my humble self will sympathise with him over his current predicament in the hands of the Nuhu Ribadu led EFCC. Instead of using the state money to improve the lives of the masses, he opted to finance the unpopular third term( according to him). Nigerians should disregard such claim by ex- governor Turaki. If indeed he spent the said amount to support third term, he should go and settle that with who ever he was doing the favour. All we believe is thet he misappropriated the said amount and should face the law squarely.

Re: Ofeke my guy, you probably missed the point

Ofeke, I quite understand your point succintly, and I respect your view as much as I could respect everyone's else view irrespective of his/her ethnic alignment or leaning. But, one thing I cannot be persuaded to believe is that those two guys (Kalu and Chimaroke) are victims of political vendetta. At least, it's obvious that Chimaroke was 'self designated emperor' OBJ's boy and he was sheepishly loyal to the emperor.Where did he earn the hatred from unlike kalu's case. Talking about Kalu, it is obvious that OBJ would never brook any chance to bring him down hence he couldn't succeed through the kangaroo impeachment. But, he (Kalu) ought to have known better that he had been eating with a devil, and should as a matter of sage, suppose to have had a long spoon. In other words, keeping himself clean in handling the state coffer. It's no longer a news that the man Obj has a very strong hatred against Igbos, but he never knew that God intended it for our good and edification. No matter how he represses or subjugates Igbos, they would continue to wax even stronger than anyone could imagine. Let him auction the whole national wealth and public goods to himself and his accomplice in the North and brothers in the west, that cannot deter average Igbo man from moving on. But Ofeke, I still maintain that those ex-govs are reaping what they bargain for, especially the con man himself chimaroke. If he didn't steal our money, why was he too in a haste to enter plea bargaining and all these feigning of sickness. His conscience is already giving him discomfort and he would not seize this opportunity to tender open apology to Enugu state people for stealing their money, and more especially to the families of the innocent souls he wasted in the name of power. For kalu, I may not have enough facts about his own callous acts, but one cannot rule out the fact that the guy even though very brave and gutful has a serious case to answer and should be man enough to answer it as it were. For me, I don't show solidarity for thieves even if they were my own blood relatives. They'd be made to account for their stewardship. Others would follow suit now or in the future even the self designated emperor himself. It's all a function of time and providence.

RE: 5alive, Chiemeka & Emeka(moscow)

5alive, Chiemeka and Emeka (moscow),thank for your response to my posting. But it is quite unfortunate for you guys to find my posting ( biased and sentimentally outburst. if you guys see it the way I saw it, you will agree with me that, dictator OBJ tenure is not yet finished.

I am the type that call a spade, a spade. I do not condone evil. In as much as I do not know or have ever met kalu and co in my life, I still think that, NUHU RIBADU have not yet finished the duty assigned to him by his boss OBJ. I have defended Kalu here time without number just because of his outspokenness. Honestly,in a free and fair election in the state of Biafra, the likes of Kalu will not win his local government election. I do not live in Abia to asses his performance. But one thing is sure, OBJ is determined to bring down anything that will breath life to the people igbo nation.

I mentioned KALU along with TINUBU and HARUNA because they were in the same league. Mind you that, Turaki's arrest is just to camouflage the ethnic aspect of the whole arrest. Their main target was Kalu. If I may ask, why do they have to start with the igbo governors? Why not Adedibu, Anenih, OBJ,UBAs. These are the main actors in the looters novel.

Some people can chose to retire from this forum because of my defense to my igbo brothers. The leaders style of muteness in some critical issues that effect the igbos in Nigeria is costing us dearly. OPC and Niger Deltan leaders whom are actually a threat to the security of Nigeria are freely moving around. On the other hand, the hated igbo man who choses to express his rightful freedom of choice is languishing in the prison. It was just recently people were voicing out their cough throat. As soon as their cough is over, Igbo man must be used to show example.

I may also retire from this forum, because we are not discussing the real problem of Nigeria. Nigeria problem is the igbos. Nigeria do not want the igbos, and they can not let the igbo go. Though our own problem is from us. I am distinguishing my very humble self from that muteness. I will continue to voice it out as it is, until I die.

Kalu is not the only crook in the midst of all the 36 state past governors period. Where is the past two IGP that helped dictator OBJ in his atrocities. They are the one to be arrested first before Kalu and Anamani that built 155 houses for himself.

US, UK to send observers to KaluÂ’s trial

SUN please nobody is a fool in this country any longer. A thief is a thief no matter who he is and US or UK do not have any right to tell Nigeria not to persecute those who are improvised us and our people. I know are protecting your job, but that also prove that you are all of the same boat, ruthless, merciless, corrupt and wicked like Kalu and the rest of all those who steal our money and prefer that we perpetually be improvised and slave to them. God will not allow it and if you do not take care our God who answer prayer will also come on you.

Sherrif

Sheriff,
Don't mind them. You did the honorable thing by keeping your parochial views consigned for so long, please maintain the good work.

The igbo however remain the most critical of themselves, even as your sound analysis of the postings on this forum suggests otherwise.

Whether you like it or not, the true igbo man will not condone criminality- an attribute you have consistently described as disunity or "washing the dirty linen in public".

I will use this opportunity to appeal to whoever is interested in your brilliant views to privately seek your e-mail address, and spare us of these insults from a man who is not even sure of his own identity. Thanks.
