THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER AND THE PRESIDEDENT

The National security adviser is not giving president Jonathan good security advice.
How on earth can he refuse president Jonathan going to visit Chibok when the girls were kidnapped.Does that mean the Nigeria Army cannot protect him from the rag tag army of Boko Haram? If they cannot then it is a shame.Foreign News Media like Sky News and CNN have been saying the Nigeria Army is not well paid, which is a one sided story. It is only BBC News that have been reporting a balanced news about Boko Haram. By the way there is no Army in the world that pays her troops well since they render service to their country.Paying soldiers big salaries will breed indiscipline in them when they begin to lead luxurious life styles. As for arms and ammunition supplies they have enough to crush Boko Haram. There is politics in the Boko Haram issue.
I do not support the suggestion of the National Security Adviser Gusau that the presidential election should be shifted.

PRESIFENTIAL CAMPAIGN IN NIGERIA:Mattersarising,g

I have been monitoring the presidential campaigns online.President Jonathan said established a Maritime University as in Nigeria there was a Maritime Academy which was only a Polytechnic. He said this with disdain for Polytechnic Education.Mr President discrimination is is not allowed as efforts are on to remove this discrimination in order to move the country forward education wise.Unless he is among the "enemy of progress". Nigeria must move forward.
About fighting leakages wastages and corruption technologically that is plus and good point.Internet Technology curb corruption and looting to the barest minimum.
Telling Buhari to produce his O Levels Certificate by the National Secretary of PDP is an insult on the General.Itis only in Nigeria that such rubbish is condoned. In advanced countries matured students are not required to produce O Levels for admission into Universities even if they did not do well in O Levels.Nigeria should up.I went to University with matured students and they did fantastically well.Nobody asked for their O Levels before they were given jobs.
APC promised at Enugu through Senator Ngige that the treasury will be opened to Nigerians. That is not possible.Any lie told will be accounted for in the presence of God.Some will say politics must involve lies. That is your problem.

THE PROBLEM OF ELECTRICITY IN NIGERIA

Obasanjo after losing his third term bid to unconstitutionally rule Nigeria hurriedly gave out contracts to Independent Power Projects(IPP) in billions of dollars in connivance with the Power Minister Senator Imoke the present Governor of Cross Rivers State. This man is a lawyer who knows nothing about electricity and engineers never protested.Late Bola Ige a lawyer was also given this appointment as a lawyer and he confessed he knows nothing about electricity when he was made caricature of by those who worked with him and was removed to become the Minister of Justice and was assassinated.
Obasanjo gave out the contracts to his friends and took his share before leaving as the president. The contractors on their part refused to go to site as they felt they have paid their dues to Obasanjo. The contractors went on spending spree. Some bought houses in Ikoyi others bought houses abroad in the US,UK, South Africa and Dubai.
They were paid in dollars upfront and a dollar was around 90 Nigerian Naira then.
The late President Yar'Adua came in and could not really fight these Obasanjo's men due to ill-health and passed on.
President Goodluck came in and called for the file and behold what he saw was horrible as nothing was on ground.Inquiries commission was set up but the contractors paid them off as they have now become a powerful cabal.
Jonathan had to give them an ultimatum to finish their job in June 2014. They started complaining that the job should be re-evaluated as the Nigerian Naira has been devalued. But who cares as the delay came from them and they refused to deliver as at due.
Another leg of the story is that the Power Generation plants were sold to individuals.Obasanjo bought the Egbin Power station,Kainji was sold out and up till today cannot generate enough power which has never happened in Nigeria. The company that bought Kainji are incompetent and have no means of funding the power station. Those that bought the power generating plants are refusing to pay the gas company that supply gas and are owing millions of dollars. They are refusing to pay despite being paid by the power distributing companies. The Federal Government made a serious mistake to sell Power Generating plants to individuals as they can deliberately sabotage power generation.
The power transmission was not sold and the Federal Government still controls it.This is good for National security.
The Ikeja Distribution Company was sold to Sahara Group which has a stake hold in importation of refined petroleum and seemed confused on how to deal with customers. They tell customers who have paid into bank with tellers to join a very long queue of chairs and those attending to them feel happy to detain them for hours while some of the customer service staff deliberately sit idle while some are serious with the job. They have employed gun totting members of the Nigerian Civil Security Defence to harass customers who came to pay them money. This is unwarranted if they know what they are doing.
Many of the distribution companies were given to friends such as the former female Managing Director of Union Bank Funke.
How will these shy-locks who bought the the electricity or power generation plants and distribution fall into line? It is only God that can change the situation as these powerful people have held Nigerians in the jugular.

THE NON-PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND WAGES IN NIGERIA

By not paying salaries and wages of workers this present Government right from the Federal,States and Local Government levels are doing dis-service to Nigeria. This was the action that grounded our economy in 80s and made our economy to suffer. If you refuse to pay workers and owe salaries how can there be purchasing power to sustain industries? If the products produced are not purchased then industries will shut up and businesses wil suffer as a result of this.Although I am not an economist but an Engineer I have got a first hand experience on this issue
In advanced countries it is a crime to owe workers wages for just a week.No matter what happens to their economy workers wages must be paid to keep their economy moving. Now they will want to reduce staff strength and that will be shooting themselves on the foot.
A situation where only a handful or less than 1% of the population of Nigeria is maintained with 70% of Nigeria's annual budget is evil or demonic.Despite the dwindling income of Nigeria they still greedily budgeted 70% of our common purse for themselves.
The funny aspect of it is that there is always unity of purpose when it comes to swallowing such money. There is no politics of parties on this issue.Have you ever heard APC fighting PDP for budgeting such a huge amount for such a ridiculous overhead. And have you heard APC telling President Jonathan to budget more for Education and Health?Have APC ever staged a walk out when the budget is presented for being ridiculous?
Nigeria must always find a way to finish the common man when there is a problem with the economy.
When I traveled to Nigeria in Warri I had chat with a mobile policeman who was guarding his boss in a hotel where I went to see a friend as to why diesel is so expensive. He told me that the boys in the creek refined diesel and supplied to many companies at a cheaper rate. The Federal Government sent soldiers to destroy the local refineries as those importing it were complaining of low patronage. The Federal Government lied that the diesel got from these local refineries were not of high quality. But those who used the diesel never complained.Instead of organising these local refineries by licensing them and supply them with crude oil so that Niger Deltans can enjoy their oil resource as the North enjoyed their Groundnuts and the South West their Cocoa as they directly got revenue from it they were fought and millions of barrels of crude oil were destroyed which is an economic waste.I totally agreed with him and up till now wonder why we cannot organise ourselves and see the truth but always fight each other at the slightest provocation.
Now the man on the street must suffer to pay for the short fall in oil revenue as the import duty on fairly used cars have been increased from 35% to 70% as from January 2015.
This is where the Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala expertise should come into play. Many who are benefiting from the looting of Nigeria's treasury will call her names and call for her resignation if she acts to cut their benefits and allowances.
Later they will say the president Jonathan is corrupt and allows corruption to thrive while they are the foundation of corruption.

THE CRASHED AIRASIA AEROPLANE

It very unfortunate for the aviation to undergo another tragedy within such a close period when recently two tragedies occurred and mourning is still ongoing.
To the families involved in this loss accept my sympathy.
The aviation industry have lost another good pilot. He stuck to instructions and never disobeyed despite the dangers. Many professionals will disobey and do what they like.He is a core professional.Climbing when there is turbulence is not easy as drag forces can lower the velocity which generates lift and can lead to a stall. This involves the boundary layers which experience shift that lead to a stall.
Many of us when are in danger escape to look for plan B.
Jesus Christ never looked for a plan B despite all the challenges he faced from Pharisees and Scribes but went to Calvary to die and save us.
Many make a caricature of him today as they will say they cannot die like Jesus did and men still sin.

FAITH

Faith is a supernatural gift of God that enables me to believe without doubting God.
My dad crowned it all by telling me that "It is is when you do not have a plan B in your difficult situations and trust that God will hear your cries".
Trusting God is a higher faith as he told me and I hold to this principles in my life.
Many will tell you that the Bible is an ancient book that must be ignored.I do not accept this as God is the ancient of days and can never change.Man fails you because he is mortal and can die at any moment. But God cannot fail you because he is immortal and can never die.
Salvation is a personal choice and nobody can earn it for you except yourself. Making caricature of God is dangerous.
They recently said in Nigeria most celebrities belong to secret societies or cults like Ogboni and Amorc hence they do not give to charity. This is their law as I am told. You see them come to church and give sparingly because they do not believe that their wealth is from God but from their hard work and others are lazy.No they are not!!God gave you so that you can give to them. Those who help and give others are always happier than the stingy or mean people.
Please name the celebrities that belong to these cults if it is good to belong to a secret society.

WHY I WILL LOVE TO COME BACK AS A NIGERIAN

If given a second by God to come back into the world after death,I will gladly chose Nigeria.
I have worked and had a lot of friends from many countries, Britons, French, Belgians, Americans Egyptians,Somalians,South Africans, Koreans,Kenyans, Ethiopians,Indians, Australians Chinese,Jordanians and so many other Nationals.Nigerians are very unique. They are bold and adventurous.Things like a person talking with another person and interrupting their discussion to ask a question which is looked upon as being rude in other countries is looked as normal as far as you greeted those you are interrupting. They can only get angry if refuse to greet and they will tell it at your face that, that is what you are supposed to do.
They are always in a rush probably due to traffic jams and the few transportation means available. They hate waiting too long on queues and will want to run across the express road to catch up an appointment.
Late coming to an event is not frowned upon which is very bad.Late coming drags a nation back.
They are very intelligent people but the divide and rule system introduced by the British is still there. This makes the unity of purpose difficult to achieve. They still look at themselves as Northerners, Southerners, Muslims,Christians, Hausas, Ibos, Yorubas,Urhobos, Edos, Idomas,Tiv, Beroms,Fulanis Ijaws etc. There is still this hate of a thing destroying the country.
Nigeria needs good leaders at local government,State and National levels who can transcend all these sentiments for the nation to move forward.
Institutions should know their rights and limits in order not to be harassed.

THE PROBLEM OBASANJO WANTS TO CREATE IN NIGERIA

The former president's out-lawless and and lack of respect for a sitting president call for concern. It sickens me when I see him behave like a gangster who feels Nigeria is his property. This man is going too far and something drastically has to be done.
When he was a military head of state he made sure students are made to suffer by cutting subsidies for higher education which made the standard of education to nose-dive.He believed that education was not meant for the poor and ordered students to be killed if they protest. He dis-stabilized student unionism and set up students against lecturers. The lecturers who did not understand his game plan sheepishly complied with him. He later turned on them and sacked lecturers with impunity.
He arrogantly claims he knows how to sort out the problem of Boko Haram but it was right under his nose that the insurgency started and he could not manage it before his eight years terms ended. He should therefore not make noise about Boko Haram insurgency. When he came in as president in 1999 the Northern parts of Nigeria witnessed a lot of killings of Christians at any slight confusion that arises from the Islamic world. There was a day I overheard two men discussing in Hausa language that Obasanjo was not fit to rule Nigeria due to the blood that is being shed in Plateau State,Kaduna State where a Christian pastor was openly beheaded at a motor park. The pastor's wife is still alive. He told the idiots that they should allow him to pray before he is killed. They allowed him and was killed. There was a Reverend Father that was killed inside his Church in Kaduna. In a Mass one of his brother priests celebrated, his homily was touching as he told the congregation that his blood was a manure which has increased vastly the number of converts to the late priest's parish. In Yola a priest and his catechist were thrown into fire as they ran into the Church Muslims set ablaze to secure the Eucharist placed in the tabernacle. There were riots in Lagos and a lot of Muslims were killed. The Ikorodu Cemetary was filled to the brim with corpses. What of the Eastern parts of Nigeria many Muslims were killed at Onitsha and Dangote's trucks were allegedly accused of taking the corpses to the North which Dangote denied
These things happened under the nose of chief know it all Obasanjo.
This was the attitude he portrayed that made Abacha to frame and put him into prison. Abacha was tired of his interference and wanted him dead.
How do you expect peace to reign in Nigeria with the blood of innocent people spilled unjustly.
Obasanjo purposely destroyed the Nigerian education system and went to set up his private secondary schools and University for the rich to continue to trample on the poor.He forgot he came from a very poor family as described by his estranged wife Remi in her book "Bitter Sweet. The Animal called Obasanjo" It is only your youth wife that knows you well the ones that you marry when you have made it are gold diggers.Try to read that book and see what I mean. Please Google this book and buy it.
Obasanjo should leave President Goodluck Jonathan alone enough is enough!!
Obasanjo will shamelessly go back to Aso Rock Villa which is the presidential lodge if he has the opportunity.
Sir,I hate talking or writing against elders, but I could not avoid it as your accumulated actions sickens me.

THE GRAND JURY'S VIRDICT IN FERGUSON

In my opinion though I am not a lawyer setting up of a grand jury was wrong.A competent court should have heard the case as far as the policeman Darren Wilson shot and killed Micheal Brown he should have been summarily tried by a competent court.Lawyers would have asked for forensically verified results of injuries he claimed were inflicted on him by he young man.I believe the jury was unnecessarily swayed by his evidence.
There should be no riots and looting which is morally wrong as innocent people will be affected.
The truth can never be hidden forever if he did it intentionally.I pray for him that if he never did it intentionally he will one day be vindicated.

THE ROWS ON DAVID WHELAN AND EMILY THORNBERRY

Why do they take the statement made by David Whelan that Jews love money as offensive or derogatory? Before I went to Is real on pilgrimage I was told by a friend who went to Jerusalem that the Jews loved money just like the Ibos in Nigeria do. I never took him serious until I went and experienced it. So if I openly say it does that mean I have committed a crime? Blacks always experience racists remarks now and then in the UK and when you report to the police no action is taken and the whites are protected.
Can you imagine a patient in an NHS hospital putting a large poster by her bed saying "no black nurse should attend to her" and no action was taken. The black nurses were scared to go close to her as they will be fired or sent for disciplinary hearing. No black nurse ever survives it even if found not guilty. The nurse is frustrated to resign. NHS should check records of black nurses who resigned after disciplinary hearing. .
As for Emily Thornberry I think she does not want to stir the hornet nest hence she resigned her post.
To be sincere and fair to her I cannot walk or derive at night as a black man in areas where such flags are hoisted. These areas are mainly occupied by those who live mainly on benefits and to assure themselves that they are British who are entitled to the goodies of Britain they hoist such flags to boost their egos and will attack any non white who dares them. They refuse to pay council tax and their bins are always overfilled before they are emptied by the council because they do not pay council tax.
I was walking through such an area with such flags and a concerned white lady advised me not to try it at night. I had to thank her and have always kept her advice. Some to should be done about such neighbourhoods.

NIGERIA'S FAILURE TO QUALIFY FOR 2015 AFCON

I have been informed that Nigeria missed out from the 2015 African Cup of Nations and can still play the next edition that will qualify them for the world cup in 2018. This is a great relief and this defeat has humbled the country football. They will be more serious and open to criticisms which of course makes a team to work harder.
The South African manager was just running his mouth uncontrollably and what I saw was inexperience in him. How can he say Nigeria was lucky? They have never beaten Nigeria in at senior level and can't see them doing so now.
Anyway it was our ineptitude that caused Nigeria the qualification.

NIGERIA'S FAILURE TO QUALIFY FOR AFCON IN 2014

A country that carries out tasks with nonchalant attitude will always reap failure.
Stephen Keshi's attitude and the belief that players must pass through stages before playing for the senior national team is outdated. This was outright discrimination and his managers should have fired him the first match he lost at home when he made a statement that "he knew the super Eagles were going to lose the match". What actions did he take as an experienced manager to avert the loss. The managers to fire him were fighting themselves for positions and no body took notice. Stephen knows that sloppiness is not tolerated in developed nations as far as you are employed to do a job. When you fail to deliver you are fired and no excuse is accepted. It is in Nigeria that nobody is held responsible for a failure.
He was given the opportunity and he has made talented players to miss the AFCON in Equatorial Guinea and the world cup which is a double tragedy. Nigeria's failure is to humble her. When President Jonathan said Nigeria should withdraw from senior football competition for a while and focus on our junior to graduate to senior team, there was an uproar.
Nigeria should now focus and build the junior teams that have been forgotten to win the next world cup and not this one that is gone. Enemies of progress should not be allowed to handle the teams that is dictators who will always want their will to be done.

THE EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY LANDS PHILAE

This is a great. achievement and when will Africa launch or have a space agency to go into space and carry out scientific experiments?
They are only good at fighting each other, insurgency, religious extremism, xenophobia, tribal sentiments.
You have been left behind and the gap is over one hundred years.
Someone asked me how can a space probe land on a fast moving comet or asteroid. It needs a lot of physics and mathematics, relativity to explain coupled with space science. But the earth spins at a velocity of nearly 200,000.kilometres per hour greater than the speed and size of an asteroid and Newton laws or principles apply to give occupants of earth stability as we were taught in the University.
An African Space Agency is what Africa needs at this age of scientific discoveries.

THE STATE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA

I do not know why the state of infrastructures in primary schools in Nigeria are in such a dilapidated state.
I going to Iju in Lagos State and before St. Kizito Catholic Church on the left hand side I saw a dilapidated primary school and I was shocked to learn that pupils still attended this school with floors not cemented, leaking roofs, dirty and stinking toilets, no ceiling boards, the compound was flooded and no clean drinking water. I could not believe this type of school existed in Lagos State in the twenty first century.
But taking a look at the secondary schools you find that they are better maintained. On enquiry I was told by a teacher that the Local Government Councils take charge of primary schools and it was their duty to build and maintain infrastructures in primary schools but are shortchanged by the state Governments to make them look incompetent. This can be seen in the differences between primary schools and secondary schools. The state governments want to give a dog a bad name to hang it.
What have these innocent souls done wrong that they are now victims of senseless and stupid politics.? The funds are available but politics of ego is consuming the entire country. It is not only in Lagos but the entire country of Nigeria .
