fans

griffey i have been a long time seattle fan since i was born. i have followed your career and have been amazed by your countless achievements. the only thing that i can complain about is your dealing with your fans. i have lived in seattle and have traveled 3000 miles to places like new york, chicago and st louis to see you play always wearing my griffey/mariner gear. fans dont ask a lot, but they deserve something, especially the ones that defend you when other mariner fans call you a traitor. i read a sports illustrated a while ago that was on autographs. it said "when it comes to autographs, you are more likely to get osama bin ladens autograph then griffey's." im sarting to think its true

Keep It Up

Keep on going Griff. Your one of the only true power hitters out there. I know you can get to 700 or more, you just gotta keep hittin the gym N stayin healthy. You already made one positive move by changing that number 30 to a number 3. I never did like how that 30 looked on your back. 3 looks much better. But like I said, stay healthy and keep going as long as you can because if you make it to the home run record, that will be huge cause you will have truly earned it. Good luck with the rest of you career.

homeruns

You would have somewhere around 700 home runs if you never left seattle. who cares if safeco field was a little deeper than most parks...you hit the ball pretty damn far anyway.

Remebering

Jr, I've watched you play now since 1989 and you have been a hero ever since. Don't worry about the media, bad fans or anyone who tries to bring you down. Remeber your father's word Griffey, "Have fun with the Game." Your a friend to all that is baseball and a legend. Not for hitting home runs, not for catching that impossible fly ball in center....but for never giving up!! May you stay in the game for 10 more years. Thanks for all the memories so far. Your Friend.

Next Up...Reggie!!

Yo....Junior you're doing it kid! I'm glad the reds won first of all but it only makes the victory sweeter when you hit a bomb to give them the lead. It's a great accomplishment to tie Mike Schmit and now Mr. October is in the horizon. It's time for you and the reds to get hot and I bleieve people will finalllly realize when you hit number 600 that you are arguably one of the, if not the best, BASEBALL player to have ever played this great game. Watch it fly Junior, watch it fly!!!!!

the greatest

Griffeys the greatest active player because he didnt cheat and my favorite. I think he'll end up with like 610 homers but if he never got hurt for such a long peroid of time he would have already 610 homers. Griffeys the greatest!!
