Nobody likes George Bush, but nobody likes John Kerry either. I for one am not active in following politics but I dont slam our president or try to give advice on our presence in Iraq like "we should blow everything up" or "we should leave them witht their own problems"......I think there is a little more to it than that. And how does anyone know who is going to be the best president??? The only presidents that I ever hear anyone speak highly of are presidents who have already served their terms, and I am sure people complained about them before they were elected as well. Also I think Michael Moore should shave his beard and not wear a hat so much, aside from that his movies are opions and I have my own so don't need his. |

He says "Uhm" and looks around nervously more frequently than 95% of the stoners I know! He doesnt even listen/understand the question's he's asked in interviews and debates, haven't any of you ever noticed that his responses are usually complexly irrelevant to the question, and almost entirely the same answer he gave to his previous three questions? His press conference after the Madrid train bombings should be proof in itself that he's dumb. |

Before going to the movie, I went to as many websites as I could find that discouraged people from seeing the movie. On a regular basis, I also visit as many pro-Bush, pro-Kerry, anti-Bush, anti-Kerry sites as I can. I realize that all news sources and political sites are biased. I think that it is my responsibility as an American citizen to be as informed on the issues regarding the upcoming election as I can be. That said, I am careful not to take anything as fact right away in a movie, TV commercial, the news, or a website. I wish that there were more open minded people. (semi spoilers ahead) F-911 is like anything else political. It presents facts and then tells you what conclusion that you should make from it. When we see Bush's seven minute time period where he stays with an elementary classroom after finding out about the second plane crashing into the WTC, Michael Moore starts to guess what Bush must be thinking in those moments. That perhaps is unfair. Its Michael Moores opinion. There are other things that are undisputable. There are personal and business relationships between Bushs family and Bin Ladens family and oil executives in the Middle East. Bush and his staff all profit directly or indirectly from the war. With military benefits cut and spending on Iraq going up, the troops are getting screwed while Bush and his buddies are getting richer. I often wonder how the effort to capture Osama changed to catching Saddam. Thousands of American lives have been lost. We know who the mastermind was, but hes not our primary focus? Why not? Is it not profitable enough to find him? With WMD not found in Iraq and no real tie between Al Qaeda and Iraq/Saddam, it raises the question: why does the president still insist that we were justified in attacking? Just out of curiosity, for those who support Bush, how many people care that Osama is still running free while our military is focused in Iraq? How many overlook the billions of dollars that are going into companies that Bush and his staff are heavily invested in? Or is everything just a big coincidence? Yes Im a newbie. This is my first post. |

You have to commend him, and no one is perfect so of course there are always flaws. The fact is that, though he is American, he did not let stuffy patriotism get in the way of telling the truth. He did not "make" Bush sound like an idiot.. I think Bush pretty much manages that himself. There is always room for controversy, eh? That IS what makes our lives intersting! |
