But how would voting out all incumbants help (besides getting rid of the bums)? Do you honestly believe that any politician truly cares for the citizens? I don't; I believe its time for a revolt. The bottom dwellers live off the system because they know no better (its by no means a good excuse) but thats the reality. Between food stamps, cash, healthcare and paid rent these people are making over $35,000 a year. A good start would be to cut them off completely. While these people may be uneducated, they are smart enough to know that minimum wage doesn't pay the bill. |

Once they graduate from public school, they attend college and HAVE student loans. They graduate and go out into the workplace and EARN a living. They meet someone and marry and have children. They have to work hard for a raise. They purchase a house and PAY taxes. They have to BUY health-care and pay enormous amounts for it. They are abused by the political system by paying taxes. Person two is born and raised. During their life they attend public school. They decide that they dont care about education. They NEVER graduate or go out and get a job. They meet someone and DONT marry him or her, they just have child after child after child. They dont have to purchase a house because they have no money so they have the government provide them with welfare to rent. They dont need to work hard for a raise, they just sit on their duff and each year the raise just comes. They dont have to buy health-care because they get wonderful care through Medicaid at no cost to them. They have learned this process from friends and family. They are the abuser of person one. They are the reason why the politicians pander to the poor. How long can this go on before person one says, I have had enough and they leave NYS. I know that there are many contributing factors, but the politicians of NYS and the federal government could care less about person one. They will say they care, but they are so busy spending money on person two that they are out of control. How can we as tax paying citizens of NYS get this message across? Vote out all incumbents. Ask you representatives the hard questions. What exactly are you going to do to stop the spending of taxpayer money on foolishness? Dont accept the answer that you get from people like Dale Volker, who says he is not going to answer that question. Politicians are our employees. From the President of the United States to the lowliest person if the local government they work for us. |
