Well, I guess the civil tone is gone, huh ?

What was the result ? The red/green budget fiasco you jackass. Higher bond ratings, more borrowing at higher rates, failed mergers etc.... Do you live under a rock, dip**** ? Answer my first question you illiterate ****bag .... if the unions have the ability to get people elected , how did your mancrush Joel get elected TWICE ?

I hope Randy gets the virus

Read the letter in lst Sundays paper about Collins business practices. ****ing idiots like Randy wish ill will on their friends and neighbors that are doing a little better in life to cover their own inadequacies. How does your life get better scumbags, when someone loses their job or takes a pay cut? You people are disgusting. Why did you have to buy a new laptop Randy? Feds closing in on your kiddy porn stash?

In randies case - screw the man , screw the state - by screwing yourself. Makes a lot of sense.

I couldn't care less if randie smokes. I wonder what he'll do when his employer cuts healthcare costs by refusing to insure someone who has no regard for his health ( don't think it's not happening)? I wonder if he'll refuse care from a unionized nurse ?

Union idiot

I asked if he felt the unions can push Keane through. Keane' primary victory showed me how much union support he really has. So will the union support help pull him through? No one knows the answer until the election is over.

Giambra cut taxes and what were the results? Lower taxes. The sales tax was raised slightly but other than that I don't see a problem. Why does government need such a huge surplus to be considered great? What did Giambra do that has really done any damage to this area. He kept taxes down PERIOD-Should we raise them you moron? Obviously you'll be voting for the drunk; don't blame me when your kids or grandkids move away. Giambra's mistake was not cutting services sooner--but he did lay off a 2000 or so I believe. So overall I don't see what all the fuss was about.

randie

randie pouts : " People want lower taxes, this is done by cutting public service jobs and/or compensation".

By cutting jobs, you mean cutting "services". Didn't we try this a couple of years ago ? When people started to lose "services", they all complained.

You can't close MY library !
Why isn't the DMV open on Saturdays ?
Why don't they have more windows open ?
Why are the parks such a mess ?
Why wasn't MY street plowed sooner ?
Whay haven't MY leaves been picked up ?
Why aren't there more road patrols ?
Blah blah blah

I'll ask you the same question I asked Frank : if the unions are so all powerful - why did Giambra win the last two terms ? While union membership is substantially higher in WNY than other places, it is not near the majority - so how does this work ? Could it be that union members do their civic duty and vote, while people like you & frank just complain ? That would explain it.

yep, screw the man. screw the state. And what is wrong with Cancer? We all have to die someday. I'd rather die with a 10 dollar hooker sitting on my face, but if Randy wants to smoke, let him smoke.

Randie's "point"/ Eng Prof

And I think you missed my point.

He'll spend more, get less, and kill himself just to spite "the man" ?

BTW ... when he gets cancer ... will the Indians subsidize his health care ? Will he go to a tax-free indian hospital ? Will he deny care from a unionized nurse ?

i think you missed randy's point. His point was he isn't giving money to the state of NY. Why fill thier pockets with all of the extra taxes that are put on a gallon of gas.

Vote Collins. This area doesn't need another career politician.

If "the unions" have the ability to "push through" a candidate, how do you explain Giambra winning two terms ?

Randie

Most "foreign" cars are assembled in the USA. If you want to get 3/4 a gallon of gas for the price of a full gallon (take a gas can and see just how far off the pumps really are), and "save" $1.50 on your 15 gallon fill up - go ahead ! Plus, living in Buffalo, and going to the rez - even if your car gets 30 mpg, you ate up the "savings" driving out there ! What a brilliant idea ! You are really a sharp guy ! You really SHOWED THEM ! LMAO ! I'm surprised such a smart guy would kill himself by smoking. On second thought ... go have another smoke !

Randy-2 good points

Keane is a complete joke. He is a drunk and is the status quo and will only raise taxes. Say what you want but giambra cut taxes. Collins is the way to go. The question is will the unions push Keane through for a victory?

I love my new Toyota. yes, you have to put more money down but in 5 years when you can still get money for your vehicle its worth it. But I really don't think any car is really foreign anymore. Toyota's are built here with US parts.

I have one point. Keane should lose, if he doesn't it proves that this area is doomed to fail forever. What do we have to lose? Its sort of like bringing marv levy back

Union Watchdog

it's getting near election time so it's no surprise the Union Watchdog is spewing his propaganda again.

Watchdog says Collins is King-Lite. But couldn't one say the same about Keane, with his known patronage ties in the past?

Did you see Keane's commercial, he promises to "Hold Down Taxes". What does that mean? That he'll only raise taxes to cover his needs (and those of his union backers)? If you were voting would you want someone who will "Hold Down Taxes" or someone who will "Lower Taxes"?

The fact is that we have nothing to lose with Collins. If union backed Keane is elected, taxes will go up again and it will be business as usual. We know that doesn't benefit anyone (except the unions).

I'll put my vote on Collins because he can't be any worse than Keane. People want lower taxes, this is done by cutting public service jobs and/or compensation. I know there are a lot of unnecessary county services that I pay for but never use. So let's get rid of the excess, Collins has the track record to do it!

Here I Am

I took a few days off, headed to the rez to gas up my foreign car and then headed out of state for a few days to visit some friends. While there I did some shopping, picked up a new lap top among some other things. By purchasing this $1200 lap top out of state, I prevented about $105 from being paid to NYS and local taxes.

If more of us do things like this, strange things happen. Lower subsidies from the state to the local governments causing things like control boards to be created that stop already over compensated public employees from getting pay raises.

On the way back I gassed up my foreign car again and got some smokes at the rez. Now, by myself, owning a foreign car doesn't make a big impact on the overall state of the economy, but if enough of us do this strange things happen, like 600 union jobs at American Axle going overseas.

Once we rid this area of union greed, we'll all then be able to prosper!
