A dream I had. . .

A few weeks back, I had a dream that U2, for some reason or another, was doing a live concert at my school. I got Larry's autograph, Edge's autograph, Adam's autograph, but I didn't get Bono's b/c he had left and I didn't know where he went! :'( I was distraught to say the least! I was sadly walking down the stairs when I heard a voice yell out, "Hey!" I looked behind me, and sure enough, it was Bono running towards me. Edge had told him that I was looking for him. I had gotten his autograph and more, I don't know why he did this, but he took off his shades, took a rubber band that had a piece of paper attached to it somehow, and wrapped the rubber band on his shades, and wrote his autograph on the paper! He autographed his shades and gave them to me!!!! I thought I was going to faint!! I asked him how could I repay him for this? Then he reached into his pocket and whipped out a front seat ticket to a concert that was coming up. That was the best dream I ever had!!

I think U2 is the most incredible band in the world, and it is very hard to choose which album is the best!(even thouhg I did chose Achtung Baby) I mean; Edge is a very talentet man, Adam is the coolest guy on earth, Larry is so hot that I thought i was dreaming the first time I saw him, and Bono, well, Bono is just so increbibly so I cant describe him! I love U2

a funny story

I hate to age anybody especially myself but this is a cute story. So I am sitting in a cafe in Berlin,Germany.I am like nine years old.I believe it is either 1983 or 84.And this song comes on the juke box.And I ask my friend if they know the songs title and he says it's New Years Day.Well,I think was spring time or early summer because I remember saying why would you play a Christmas song during springtime? He laughs hysterically and says girl don't you know who this band is?No,I didn't know.I was only nine.He says this is U2 they are from Ireland and they are the coolest rock band around. And you know something? He was right and I have been hooked ever since. I got to see them live in Austin in 1991.And with How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb they are definetly still the coolest.

U2 has longevity

I first saw U2 in concert in May of 1982. I've scene them 6 xms total and was in total "awe" each time. Bono has the ultimate stage presence. The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen JR are a team that can't be outdone. When I saw them in the spring of '82, I was just in HS and knew this band was going places. I had the pleasure of meeting them briefly after that concert, kissed Bono on the cheek, and have a solid memory that will last a lifetime. It's too bad that I can never get tickets to see them in concert today. They sell out too fast. :-(
