Close to the edge

I expect nothing but a doom from a country where virgins are buried alive to make people climb to the next level.

I do not expect cannibals that survive on blood of the innocents to unshackle their captives.

Can someone tell me the future of the common man in a country where deceit and grandstanding has become an article of faith?

Human race is a journey of success and tragedies thus what you will be tomorrow depends on what you do today. Every human has enough energy to transform his tragedies into success but it requires the strength of versatility to combine natural forces with celestial wisdom for the transformation of human desire to soothe his destiny.

Weep not for Nigeria because there is limitation on human intimidation. The possibility of the last becoming the first is common news in today’s mysterious world. Each time I hear people claiming that Biafra is a dead project, I always manage myself with laughter because neither Nigeria will survive until Biafra is free.

Procrastination is a dangerous business in a stalemate where the only answer is to allow the inevitable take place. It may interest everyone to understand that there is time for everything.

A time to loot and a time for restitution
A time to flout the law and a time for retribution
A time to swallow and a time extricate
A time to shrug and a time prostrate
A time to win and a time to lose
A time to cry and a time to laugh

It goes on and on. The conclusion crystallized that nobody remains a winner or a loser forever.

From the cradle of Nigeria amalgamation, the Igbos paid exorbitant prices to keep Nigeria moving. Instead of moving forward to provide role models for the entire African nation, Nigeria wobbled under the position of Goliath of Africa. The plunderers have regrouped once again to brainwash the least intelligent that “One Nigeria” is the best thing to happen to black race or even human race.

With commitments to hard work, the Igbos will not continue to mingle with the plunderers we saw yesterday. We can’t fold our hands until these plunderers destroy the future of our upcoming generation without remorse.

The only project we have as a race is Biafra. Make no mistake when the obvious is hanging the edge.

Stanley .O. is right.

Nothing built on falsehood stands.....Stanley. You are absolutely right brother.
The charms a woman used to get the man she married to must one day fail.
No matter how much one pretend to be what he/she is not will one day show his/her true color.
Hide and seek in the dark, day light must expose your excesses. Nigeria, here comes your final days because you possess the three above.

It is no more news that Nigeria is in the midst of breaking down but has just shot herself in the foot. USA brains predicted the disintegration of Nigeria on or before 2015 and brainless self centered arrogant Nigeria foolish mother suckers thinks otherwise. The writing is practical on the wall. It must come to pass on or before 2015.

Ghana is now the giant of Africa and they are leading by example. It used to be Ghana must go but it has changed to Nigeria must come to Ghana. what a turn around. Shameless Nigeria looters are now rushing to Ghana to acquire properties. These animals are now sending their kins and dreads to school in Ghana while back to there roting Nigeria, children are at home because of strike this and strike that. What a mislead.

This nation will never stand. No matter how many hours, days, weeks, months and years of prayer will save Nigeria from collapsing. This is not a wish but a reality that must come to pass.

The only thing that kept Nigeria as one (soccer) is dead. Even as one unifying factor, there are still division within. When Nigeria is playing, yoruba stay together in one apartment and the igbos on the other side of the arle and you know where the hausas will be. Your guess is as good as mine.

When Ghana beat Serbia in their opening game, a place called Jane/Wilson in Toronto was closed down by the Ghanaians. They the Ghanaians living in toronto area came out en-mass to celebrate together as one nation. And the giant of african for mouth who lost their first game were busy sneaking from one money mart to the other and from one bank machine to the other doing what they know best,if you know what I mean. Nigeria was built in a falsehood. Nigeria was built on a sand. Nigeria is a charade. Nigeria is fake. Nigeria is a deceit. Nigeria is a mistake that must be corrected. Nigeria is a nonsense. In-fact,Nigeria is bad news. The Britain I hate with passion built this migraine called Nigeria on deceit. Now we know the truth, Nigeria must go. Biafra nation is the only option for Nigeria greatness.

Ofeke the true son of Biafra soldier wrote with so much anger......

Definitely, Nigeria is heading to the rock. This assertion rattles many who claim they believe in one Nigeria. Those who hold this explosive view of dismembered Nigeria are held in contempt by those who reap bountifully from the lopsidedness of the union. But it does not change the reality.

There appear to be silence, each time Nigeria's problems are discoursed, over minority group angle to the Nigerian question. The big three are usually the main focus, but the involvement of the minority groups in shaping what is today Nigeria's fate, and her future, are somewhat implied when blames go to the big three.

Edo people and the rest of the former Midwestern region scarcely forget the maltreatment they received from their big cousin-Yorubas. The Middle Belt of Nigeria are increasingly feeling the maltreatment from the far North, their irrelevance, politically, under the "one North' dictum. The South-South region has not dropped the idea that Igbos' Biafra is hinged on oil the oil wealth in the region-funny.

The far North uses accepts the Middle Belt as part of the North when it serves their interest, dumps them otherwise. This can't continue. Part of Middle Belt has, in recent times, witnessed what has been considered religious killings which, nonetheless, was politically motivated. This can't continue.

The far North desires one indivisible North , but would accept zoning arrangement based on North, South. They promote political division in the South. In the South: South-West, South-East, South-South, in practice, compete for the same slot. This is rubbish.

Nothing built on falsehood stands.

To your tnariesent oh Israel!

I really love this forum! It really shows the degree of hatred we Nigerians have for ourselves! It is either Ibos are at war with Yorubas, or the Hausas are waring Ibos. Now an Edo man has been introduced by Skipper Rogers to finally confirm that the centre can no longer hold! It will be a welcome development if we can just go our own separate ways instead of allowing the continuation of this "by force marriage".

Re:skipper rogers

Bright is a typical first name of Edo folks. Here we go again. Typical!. Edo man telling me off for criticising his man without a counter argument.

Skipper Rojas writes the stuff which other Nigerian Sports Journalists are aware of but are afraid to write ( in order to protect their livelihood ). Who wants to be on the wrong side of "over-paid" Millionaire footballer with the resultant consequences?

Grow-up Bright. Koh o teh me !

Re:Sack Lagerback now...

I agree with SQUAD that we know how to burn cash. But, where do we go from here? I welcome your suggestions. You can even spice up your suggestions with "Beer Parlour" or "Viewing Centre" rumours or gossips.

Good luck to Nwankwo Kanu on his retirement from the National team. I hope he remains a good ambassador in future for our National Team. He would join a long list of past great strikers / midfield supremos such as Onyeanwuna, Balogun, Atuegbu, Odegbami, Yekini , Okocha etc just to name a few

The best thing Lagerback did was to drop Peter Osaze Odenwigie. Peter is one of the fittest Eagle players but is over-rated. He runs around like a "headless chicken" and gives the Ball away easily. He lost my respect when he criticised his coach Amodu. In his last game, he made a mistake and turnaround and start blaming his colleague - that is Osaze for you. Osaze should wake-up and stop whinging. He should concentrate on improving his game and not “carrying chips on his shoulder”.

Sack Lagerback now...

I hope Lagerback has been sent back to his native Sweden after a woeful, achaic coaching and vindictiveness!!!

He's just not fit to coach Eagles! He's confused, and has come to Niogeria to pack the cash!!! $200.00 thousand dollars a month for him; for what?

RECYCLING OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS

There is a rumour that Maurice Iwu is likely to be made an ambassador to Brazil. What do this tell us of the Nigerian state? Does it mean we lack people that can occupy certain positions? Because of the general outcry against his (Iwu's) performance at the INEC, he was reluctantly shown the way out only to be compensated with an ambassadoral posting. We are not truthful to ourselves in this country.
Gradually Goodluck Jonathan is showing that he is not a man of his own if he must be dictated to in all issues. We find ourselves in this situation because we have always had people who are not prepared leading the country. That is why when they find them-selves at the top, they dont know what to do hence no clear-cut policy trust.
If Jonathan actually mean to fight corrupt-ion, he has taken some steps that dont portray him as serious in the fight. How do you explain withdrawing charges against Nuhu Ribadu? He should have allowed the courts to discharge and acquit him. In the same vein how on earth can this administration contemp-late giving another federal appointment to Maurice Iwu?
Somebody should tell Goodluck Jonathan to be serious for once.
