Why do five out of eight of your selections on your web poll deal with firing someone? Don't you think that by asking these questions, that you will produce a particular result? One that is particularly biased? Have you put that "Fire Judge Marilyn Milian" as the default selection for your poll for some particular reason? Pure garbage! |

Not only do I have the utmost respect for her professionally, but I also think that she is the type of woman that I would love to have as a friend/mother/aunt, etc. I don't see why anyone would complain about her mentioning her children. She is a real person, not an actor. I am incredibly impressed by the fact that all of her years in this profession have not hardened her like they have Judge Judy. She is professional, but manages to hold on to her femininity, her pleasant disposition, her humanity and her fantastic sense of humor. She truly cares about people, especially children. We could certainly use more judges like her. It's too bad that she can't preside over the bigger cases. I would stop watching the show if she wasn't the judge. The bailiff is quiet, but it is not his job to entertain the audience. When the litigants enter the hallway, there should be more organization. The indoor commentator spends half his time trying to get the litigants to stand in the right place. I find the outdoor commentator's insights to be interesting, and it's not his fault that the people around him don't always come up with coherent answers. I think that the show could really use an updated set. It's nostalgic in a way for those of us who remember the original show, but a classy eye-catching new set might draw in the younger viewers. I don't know much about demographics, but I'm sure it would be helpful to determine which time slot is best. All I know is that Judge Milian needs to stay! By the way, "Mister Milian" is such a hottie!! |

Judge Judy is so nasty and unlikeable. The other judge show just plain SUCK. I watch the show only for her, regardless of the litigants. What should be done to improve ratings? Move the show to an evening timeslot. Let it compete at 7 or 8 w/ the mostly garbage shows at that time. After all, it is one of the first, and definitely the best reality shows. It should really have prime time coverage. Keep up the good work, Marilyn. |

He wore a long sleeve shirt all the time,now he has to flaunt himself.He is turning into another Josephine,getting into the act with his big mouth,the same way Josephine did.Oh I'm sure some losers think that's his job to speak up,but I thought the Judge was the one who kept order in the court room.Just what we need, another pretty BOY big mouth on TV. |

I agree with her rulings. She is a very smart lady and knows how to dish out justice. As for the ratings maybe they'll improve if "The People's Court" would do a road trip to promote it. Maybe someone should find out if Judge Milan can do some of "The People's Court" tapings in other cities. My idea is like rock stars that perform concerts in cities and states nationwide. Same thing here, only our Judge is ruling over cases nationwide in those cities and states she would tour/visit. If I were in charge of promotion I'd go where "THE PEOPLE" are. Places like the Mall, tourist attractions (parks and theme parks),college and university campus, and clubs. People love giving their opinions and believe me there are alot of people that want to express their opinions. Don't change the judge, baliff, and announcer, just change the location or sceneary alittle. |

One thing a can really appreciate is her honesty and ability to see through people. I must say I don't always agree with her decisions but that's life. Her past experiences put her in a perfct situation. Especially when there are spouse abusers and ill-responsible Dads. I would much prefer to face Judge Millian vs Judge Judy due to personalities however, if I had to face either, it would be deserved. One thing I really like about Judge Millian is her ability to smile and kid with you while setting you up for failure if you are lying. This is one woman you do not mess with. Advertise more and leave it in one time slot, probably in the morning. One good show is more valuable than 10 mediocre shows. Don't run this show before or after Judge Judy on a daily basis. I would suggest that you put the show on in the early evening; also promoting it more would be helpful. If you take Judge Milian off the show it would be the biggest mistake you could make. She is far above the rest of the "judge" shows. You should tone down Harvey Levin. He asks people in Times Square their opinion, but he's curt, and sometimes downright rude to them. If he does not have enough time to ask people their opinions you should cut out the segment. |
