Gerald and Jide

Gerald,

I intend to take an interest in you.
Before I do, I need to know where you reason from.
Is it from your head or your rear?

I also need to know where you speak from?
Your mouth or the opening between your buttocks?

Jide,
I quite disagree with you.
The Yoruba close ranks just for one thing; to steal Federal funds and to shut others out.
When they fail to close ranks, they kill off their leaders
In Yorubaland, politics is about one thing.
Stealing federal money.
The greatest rogues in Nigerian politics are Yoruba men.
Their stealing has driven Nigeria into deep poverty and distress.
Almost all federal establishments have been run down by Yoruba men with their Hausa partners.
It is ironic that nobody sees this.
But the petty action of an Igboman accepting little financial inducement is magnified.
For the umpteenth time I ask you to consult EFCC list on the greatest looters of our common patrimony.
70% are Yoruba men.
To me, this large scale stealing is why the Nigerian enterprise has failed.
Is it not ironic that after shutting Igbos out of Nigerian economy by giving them 20pounds, 40years later you accuse them of having their minds fixed on cash.
It doesn’t add up.

Back to Gerard…
What is your ethnic group?
Let’s begin from there

JONATHAN FIX ELECTRICITY FIRST

PRESIDENT JONATHAN PLS FIX ELECTRICITY FIRST IN EVERY STATE OF NIGERIA AND EVERY OTHER THING YOU SEEK POLITICALLY IN NIGERIA YOU WILL GET IT.
IF YOU FAIL TO FIX ELECTRICITY FIRST IN ALL THE STATES IN NIGERIA AND JUMP TO CONTEST 2011 ELECTION INTO THE PRESIDENCY YOU WILL FAIL WOEFULLY.
MURTALA MOHAMMED MADE A GREAT IMPACT WITHIN 6MONTHS OF HIS RULE AND EVERYBODY FELT HIS GOVERNMENT SO YOU CAN FIX ELECTRICITY JUST IN 6MONTHS.
START THE ELECTRICITY PROJECT IMMEDIATELY BY ERRECTING COAL TURBINES IN EVERY STATE IN NIGERIA BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP TO ERRECT AND CHEAP TO MAINTAIN.
ECONOMICALLY WE CAN WITHSTAND THE FINANCIAL SHOCK OF ERRECTING COAL TURBINES IN EVERY STATE IN NIGERIA.
EVENTS HAS SHOWN THAT WE DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO MAINTAIN HYDRO ENERGY,GAS TURBINES NOT TO TALK OF SOLAR ENERGY ESPECIALLY NOW OUR ECONOMY IS IN DEEP RECESSION.
IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL THAT MOST OF OUR INDUSTRIES HAS RELOCATED TO GHANA AND YEY NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SEES NOTHING WRONG IN THAT MOVE.INSTEAD OF FIXING ELECTRICITY THEY ARE BUSY PLAYING POLITICS OF CONVINEINCE AT ABUJA WHILE THE ECONOMY IS PROSTRATE.
THEREFORE ALL THESE YOUR PERMUTATIONS AND STRATEGY ABOUT CONTROLLING PDP AMOUNTS TO NOTHING IF YOU CANNOT ACHEIVE OR FIX ELECTRICITY FIRST FOR NIGERIANS IN EVERY STATE OF THE FEDERATION AND BEFORE EVER YOU START PREPARATIONS ABOUT CONTESTING THE PRESIDENYCY NEXT YEAR BECAUSE YOU WILL FAIL WOEFULLY.IF YOU RIG THE ELECTION AND WIN,PROTEST IN THE NORTH,SOTHWEST,SOUTHEAST WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO GET TO THAT SEAT.
PLS DO NOT THROW NIGERIA INTO CONFUSION RELAX THE AMBITION FOR NOW.IT IS VERY CLEAR SYCOPHANTS HAS TAKEN OVER JONATHAN.WE EXPECT JONATHAN TALKING TO NIGERIANS ON DAILY BASIS ABOUT THINGS THAT AFFECT OUR LIVES MORE ESPECIALLY ELECTRICITY,HEALTH CARE EDUCATION,GOOD NETWORK OF ROADS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY,SECURITY ETC RATHER THAN PLAYING THE PDP POLITICS WHICH HAS DESTROYED NIGERIA.
PLS JONATHAN MAKE A GREAT MARK AND CHANGE THE IDEOLOGY OF PDP BEFORE THE 2011 PRESIDENCY ELECTION.
GIVE US ELECTRICITY FIRST THEN WE KNOW YOU ARE SERIOUS.

There you go again !!!!

First, no nation can survive when ethnocentrism supersedes national interest.

Second, you cannot satisfy all ethnic groups through rotation of presidency. Nigeria has so many ethnic groups, you cannot satisfy only Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo and leave others.

Third, there is no how PDP can manage rotation of presidency from decade to decade.

Fourth, you saying that IBB is a good leader portrays who sent you and questions your credibility.

Fifth no modern nation adopts rotation of presidency, It is as usual, northern archaic invention.

RE:BLOOD IN THE AIR

Your observations are in order, Amadi Iwuogu. But then, it is said that the English man that produced pencil also produced the eraser. The fear of the North is becoming paralysing.

If Jonathan decides to decamp to another party in order to contest, your guess is as good as mine what the enemy camp will make of it. A dog is always given a bad name in order to hang it. As the situation is today, it appears head or tail, Hausas win.

But our political fate need not hang on Northern whims and caprices. The long establishe political machinery of the North, rather than feared, must be dismantled with wisdom. That wisdom does not include cringing before anything North.
The South-South need South East to succeed politically. That is one major challange. The South South and the South East must overcome this challange to move ahead.

GoodLuck Jonathan has to contest. The North must be stopped!

I do not belong to IBB camp

Amadi, Nigeria as nation at this stage cannot evolve without putting our tribal interest first. We are yet to be an eggalitarian society. so,such arrangements aas zoning of key positions would ensure that the weaker entities are not short changed.

politics is said to be the game of number. In Nigeria it is the game of regging and tribal sentiments. Zoning is the only thing that ensures equity.

If you think zoning cannot bring out the best, I ensure you that men of intergrity are all over the zone. It ensures meritocracy.

Do not plung us into political suicide. I am from Niger Delta and an Igbo man. I can tell you what marginalisation and war is all about. If PDP can maintain the status quo honestly, let them go ahead.

Let me conclude by telling you that IBB is not bad at all. He gave us the best election. That Abiola did not occupy that seat is more of divine than physical.

If you are real , then I will first ask you how much have you got from IBB ? I am not very religiuos but we all know that Jesus Christ was betrayed by one of his comrades. So traitors are not new in human race. You did not make any cogent reason why Nigeria should adopt a rotational presidency in the interest of north. In every civilized nation , national constitution supersedes party constitution or agreement.Jonathan is not disqualified by the constitution. So you guys calling for his head if he contests in 2011 are threats to national peace and tranquility because you are for ethnocentric and egocentric interests and not national interests. A nation has peace and tranquility when the national constitution is used as bible or Koran . Any nation directed by ethnocentrism and cronysm is bound to have serious ethnic confrontation and finally disintegrates(Typical examples are Soviet Union and Yugoslovia). Nigeria being a multi religious and ethnic nation can only survive when it adopts a tranparent constitutional politics because regional politics(rotational presidency) will sooner or later cause ethnic impasse.

BLOOD IN THE AIR

BLOOD IN THE AIR
The political climate is changing from clement to inclement. The truth is being expunged and liars are gallivanting as national heroes. It enthuse me to draw our attention to the national history which commenced with ethnic irredentism which was introduced by Awo, targeted at Zik in Lagos house of assembly. This saw Zik off to East where he relocated Eyo Atta at Eastern house of Assembly. That precipitated the problem between Igbos and eastern minorities. The political turmoil at first republic was a politics of divided and ruined. The East and North collaborated and Jettisoned Awo to jailed where he languished for some years. The attitude of our past leaders culminated into looting which saw Igbo soldiers led by Kaduna Nzeogwu (from Ogbanam Oshimiri North L.G.A of Delta State), coming into power through coup. They could not hold unto power and there was consensus of Aguiyi Ironsi from Umuahia Now Abia State as First Military head of State. He was murdered after six month along with other easterners.
The disturbances of that time came with the massacre of NDI-IGBO (whether from South east or South South) including other eastern minorities in today’s south - south. War eventually came.

Since then the North began to rule us with guns and deceit. We suffered untold hardship and they plunder the economy without thinking. When democracy eventually came we all lipped and praised God. It was gathered that in PDP there was agreement that power should be rotated among the zones. All of them alluded to it and has religiously pursued it. Though this is an internal arrangement, in my opinion it should be honoured. Mr. President should not be deceived by detractor to run in PDP. If he has confidence in the quality of services he will deliver to us, he should decamp to another party and run from there. This is to maintain peace and justice.
Any attempt for Mr. President to run as president from PDP will create a lot of unrest which the poor masses will pay for it. Blood will flow and distrust will be back though we have never loved ourselves.
With what we are seeing, Mr. President is consolidating to run as PDP flag bearer. He has pressured the PDP chairman out. There are insinuations that Ogbulafor would not work for the interest of Goodlucks emergence. Secondly, both of them came from the same south. Mr. Ogbulafor’s exit will give him the leverage to appoint someone that will be loyal to him and from another political zone. Possibly from North East. His arm is to dislodge the PDP zoning arrangement. Mr. Goodluck in his arrangements to make sure he is in power come 2011, has appointed an acting INEC boss who shall read his script like IWU did for Obasanjo, ignoring the provisions of the Uwas panel. If these calculations are true, the next election will be the most corrupt election ever had on earth.
Mr. President should not forget in a hurry that he is from ethnic minority and from former eastern region for that matter. If he attempts and fails, he has landed us in a political suicide. Forget all the people who now ginger him up, they will deny him when the chips are down. But should he allow the statue quo to remain, he would again peoples trust and love.
Secondly, politics is a game of number. Apart from the South West that is homogeneously Yoruba and United as one. There is no other zone homogeneous and united. The east is homogeneous Igbos but un-united, while the north are inhomogeneous but united. In south south, there is ethnic chauvinism. Forget the fragile and television unity. We are not one. The Ijaw man is so ethnocentric and egocentric that he does not know that other tribes exist in South-South. Anan and Ibidio are in a political lock jam. Efik and other tribe in C. rivers are in distrust. Urhrobos and Itsekries never cross each others part. The Igbo speaking communities (in Delta, Rivers and Edo) where I come from are never trusted by any S/South man. They put up all sort of mundane cosmetic history about themselves, thinking that that will endear them to the rest of Niger Deltans, nothing has changed. ( for Instance : Odili Presidency Vs non –Igbo speaking attitude, Amaechi vs Water Front Project, where ethnic jabbering may delayed the project)
This is the zone Mr. President came from. It is only his Ijaw brothers, he may (surely) count for there votes. This is the most candid position. He should allow this married of confidence to hold. When is our turn then we can kill ourselves in south-south. Or we should follow Asari’s advice of independence.

Mr. President please easy. Concentrate on service delivery and make more friends

Inconsequential

Ezinwanne, Kendo, Stanley O and Honesty, why are you guys wasting time with inconsequential like Jide who does not know where he stands.

How do you expect someone who does not know where rain started biting him to remember where he dried his body?

Jide is just full of himself. He does not want ibos yet, he will not let them go. All his utterances points to that envious character in them. Because he can not make a living for himself, therefore, ibos are money bags. But he fails to acknowledge the fact that his servant leader lost a whooping N2.5billion in three days while he was away. Nothing has been heard of that money till now.

He is so naive to accept the fact that the Nigeria he so wish to be giant is nowhere close to survive. This world cup in south africa will bring the end to this nonsense we called Nigeria. Come 2014, Biafra will be going to the world as a nation of her own.

No northern should be on that sit again

It amaze me when it comes to electing either president or vice president that only the northerners (Hausas) or Yourbas will also be voted as president.

Can't a southerner or south-east be president or vice? Sincerely speaking, power is not to be in a particular part of the nation. I guest it should be rotating to others states. Who knows when electing from other states and God uses that to bless our dear country nigeria. Let's stop seeing at those from rich background and neglect others to be nobody. We all have the power to speak, amend and even put things to other rather than scattering or breaking the rules.

If you are a president, governor or whatever, first show that moral/good example so others will follow your steps. Don't look back to allow anybody to take decision for you as a president. Our able President Goodluck Jonathan as your name implies, your are the one to decides who to be vice, so go ahead and don't fear eyes or what they may say

The north is a threat to Nigeria

It baffles me that the north wants to be in control at all cost. The north has used all sorts of barbaric modus operandi ranging from military coup, election rigging, military constitution, etc ,to hold Nigerians in bondage from the day the British left us. The latest barbarism from the north is rotational presidency. They openly threaten our God given president not to run in 2011 when the constitution does not bound him from contesting. The north cheats us, rob us and bully us in the name of one Nigeria. The north wants us the infidels because of our oil. If not what have infidels got to do with muslims. And God always fight for us by using his power of death to displace northern fake presidents and put someone down south. But still the north challenge the will of God from time to time.

One thing is sure- One day God will finally rescue his people from northern bondage.

But Again,

You can't bring yourself to eschew from impugning Ndi-Igbo in every of your write up. Your opinion about us leave no body in doubt of your inclination to sustain the age long anti-Igbo campaign. This we are not ready to accept any longer. That Igbos and Yorubas can't checkmate the North is not because of the trader down there at Alaba doing his business. You know why North can't be checkmated. So spare us that tongue wagging.

I think Yoruba and Igbo may need an actionable document spelling out punishment and codes of conducts in the event that we agree to checkmate the North-lol.
