Read my lips...

If Jonathan contests, be sure that he's going nowhere! Jonathan doesn't know the north yet!

If I were this man, I'll use one year to turn a lot of things around!

That's how you convince the people! But he's wasting his time now politicking and chasing 2011 that'll certainly dump him!

mark my words, write down this date and quote me any time!!! Even as a youth, I understand Nigerian dirty politics more than most politicians themselves!!!

Jonathan has shown that he's power-hungry, and that's his waterloo!!!!! Quote me!

Tiffany the dumb...

"...all those people you mentioned were brought out by the ingenuity of OBJ..." - Tiffany

Well, well, well, Soyinka has always called OBJ a "prodigal child" - what's your take on that?

Don't run away yet, Tiffany! Every leader combs the citizenry to engage intelligent minds that'll help in governance. Not people like Tiffany who have no iota of clue!

Leaders do that to save themselves from the shame of irresponsible drunkards.

I'm sure you're renting a house owned by an Igbo! Get yourself together!

Murtala

Murtala,
Your point is meaningless. Do you prefer a performing government under Goodluck Jonathan or a dysfunctional government just because he is from the North?

You people must be very careful from the way you talk. What do you think will happen if Jonathan contests the next year’s election? Kill him or over thrown his government?

You must know that change remains constant in life.

You guys had the opportunity to make Nigeria the best country in Africa but you ended up creating more problems for Nigeria. Jus be aware that nobody has the monopoly of violence.

I don’t have anything to do with your so called “One Nigeria” but I am only advising you to be very careful.

Softly Softly President Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan, I am congratulating you on the taking over the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by you. Although destined by GOD. And to console you on the dead of your esteem boss late Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar'dua(May Allah have mercy on him)Mr. President my advice to you is not I repeat not to follow the advice of some "Evil Genius Personality. What is on ground about the issue's of PDP rotations is simple Arithematics. It is an internal agreement and arrangement that they gave the presidency to the south-west zone in 1999 to 2007.One million of Olusegun Obasanjo could not have been President of Nigeria if not because of these PDP zoning. This is the slots of the North from 2007 to 2015 in PDP zoning. The next zoning after 2015 is for the South-South.Mr.President wait for the best time and wait for your own zone slot.
During the era of Obasanjo administration it is Poverty. High level of armed robbery & corruptions, Plane crash, Violence here & there and many other atrocities. It is late President Umaru and you that God used to safe and normalised the ugly situations in the country. my prayer for you is that God will not use you again to destabilizes this Nigeria.Mr.President ignore the sycophants don't contest the 2011 presidential election. Wait for your time. I DON'T WANT YOUR NAME GOODLUCK TO TURN TO bad luck YOUR LOVELY WIFE NAME -PATIENCE TO TURN TO violence. Don’t trust any human being they will push you to run for the presidency, but if things goes wrong they are the same people that will turn against you. Have trust in GOD. With GOD every thing is possible.
A word is a enough for a wise.

....I RECANT MY WORDS....

Not long ago,I TRIED to broker peace between various tribe spokesperson here and I recinded when I remembered what my friend said....THE GREATEST PART OF HELL IS TO STANDBY DOING NOTHING WHEN YOU SUPPOSE TO QUELL THE FIRE.....this taught me a lot because if u keep quiet and allow others to scorch you without you saying or doing anything, the person is more than a docile robot.....SOYINKA got it when he said that...BOOKS AND ALL FORMS OF WRITING HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN OBJECT OF TERROR TO THOSE WHO WANT TO SUPPRESS THE TRUTH...so Igbo writers here expressing their disbelieve for illusory Nigeria and grievances for pains inflicted on them is now an OBJECT OF TERROR to those who want to suppress and oppress the truth....an Igbo proverb says that...THE WORST YOU CAN DO TO A MAN IS TO BEAT HIM AND ASK HIM NOT TO CRY....inasmuch as i love NIGERIA as my ad hoc country,i do hope that my REAL NATION OF RISING SUN, WILL BE A REALITY ONE DAY.. .Nigeria can never be one unless we eschew all these Igbos and Niger Deltans and very few yorubas(maybe they have an Igbo mother) will be working Hausa/fulani will be will be enjoying.

Biafra vs Jide Afo

The only reason why Jide Afo is defending his Ofe-Nmanu brothers about the issue of Biafra is that: He will find it difficult to obtain a Biafran Visa (2) Biafrans living in Lagos and other Ofe-nmanu region will like to invest their resources in Biafraland due to Heavy taxes and other levies they will be paying abroad ( Yorubaland )

I NEVER KNEW THAT NORTHERN ABOKI'S CAN EVER BE IN A FORUM

@yusuf aminu:I'VE NEVER SEEN INSATIABLE AND GRASPING TRIBE LIKE THE HAUSA/FULANI In spite of the sheer fact that they have been the highest beneficiary of the central power, still they want to continue with the status quo ante and even an IGBO man have never tested that central power and a Niger deltan(the wealth of the nation) is in power and they don't want them be .people who have nothing, not even human resources to contribute to national development will be too grasping for central power,HAUSA/FULANI AND YORUBAS had and is still doing irreparable harm to damned Nigeria.

Amadi's Classic

"Some people get irritated when tribalism is discussed. Some people get worried when racism is discussed. But everybody is a tribalist and a racist. Don't say you are not. Because deep down our hearts you and I know the truth. Tribalism is the root of bad politics in Nigeria and it must be discussed. When there is problem, the first step to solve it is to discuss it , analyze it and finally find a solution to it. Pretending as if it does not exist is dangerous and it leaves the problem unsolve.Rotational presidency is a manifestation of tribalism to the high heaven . If tribalism does not exist we would not think in that direction. So the first step in solving our nigerian problem is to discuss our ethnic differences and find a common ground."-Amadi

Amadi was not there in guardian forum when I argued in favour of the assertions above. People are getting better informed. That Tiffany and brothers embraced education before other Nigerians does not guarantee them first place in churning up progressive ideas. We have seen how relentlessly they strive to cover up discussing Yoruba and their ethnic traditions.

Tiffany ooo, bye bye ooo. Eleeeeooo. O re mi, before you lo ooo, can you please tell us what you mean by this ooo:

"Wake up, fight your good fight with the relevant strategy and stop all this big grammar on the internet. You think you can earn biafra on a platter of gold? Think again. No pain no gain." - Tiffany ooo

What is the good ija you are referring to? No we do not think we can get Biafra on a platter of gold. I invite you to support Biafra agitation. Join us in this forum as a starting point.

"No pain, no gain"? We fought before, went through pains, but you and your brothers coveted our gains. We won't allow that to happen again. For now, let it scorch your heard and pierce your heart with pain that Biafra is discussed in the Interent.

The Eel Factor

We must talk about tribe. It is what has kept us where we are today.
We must talk about it, understand it and address it.
When Azikiwe and like minds talked nationalism and dreamed of an emerging Nigerian state
Awolowo talked about tribe.

He walked the talk.
He scuttled all attempts to build a true Nigerian nation.
Today his people wax lyrical about being patriotic to the Nigerian state.
Hhmmm.

Awolowo dreamed of a supreme place for his Yoruba ethnic group.
He realized quite early enough that The Igbo and the Hausa were the real rivals to Yoruba hegemony.
The Hausa was hampered by an inherent lack of Western Education.
Not so the Igbo who matched the Yoruba in every way
He devised a way out.
He reached out to the minorities of both the North and the East with a high degree of success.
While Azikiwe sought for a Nigerian nation…Awolowo sought for a Yoruba dominated Nigerian nation.

The wrangling and the contradictions arising from so many vested interests sparked off a civil war.
Awo seized his chance with both hands.

Initially he made pronouncements that encouraged secession.
Emboldened that such a senior figure was supporting their quest for independence, the young Biafrans went the whole hog and announced their total breakaway.
They were stunned when Awolowo the veritable symbol of justice and fairplay showed up at Dodan Barracks in the company of Yakubu Gowon and the blood thirsty Northern officers launching tirades at the secessionists.
Around him were the frightened Yoruba officers whose only assurance of safety and acceptability was to demonstrate very strong anti-Igbo sentiments
The Eel factor was at play once again.

So after crushing any and all attempts by Azikiwe and other nationalists to fashion a true Nigerian state, our Yoruba compatriots 40 years later have been taunting the greatest victims of their ethnic politics – Ndigbo.
They are being admonished to be patriotic. They are being taunted about their lack of cohesion and inability to speak with open voice.
They are being “yabbed” about Biafra their heartfelt homeland. They are being told they can be nothing without Yorubas after the “justice” loving Yorubas joined in the slaughter and destruction of the Igbos in the 20th century’s worst case of injustice. Now our Yoruba brothers turn around to wonder why Ndigbo have become so dislocated. They laugh at their attempts to assert themselves

This Eel factor also plays out in religious inclination.

So often the Yorubas are said to religiously tolerant.

But now see the signals coming from budding Islamic fundamentalists in Yoruba land…

Tribune:
2011: Osun Islamic clerics insist on Moslem governor
By Tunde Odesola
Again, Islamic clerics in Osun State have voiced their preference for the emergence of a Moslem as governor of the 19-year-old state in next year's general elections.

A popular Osogbo-based Islamic cleric, Abduljeleel Onilewura, stated this on Sunday in Osogbo at a ceremony marking the 64th birthday anniversary of the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yoruba land, Alhaji Tunde Badmus.
President General, League of Imams and Alfas of Yoruba land, Edo and Delta states, Sheikh Mustafa Ajisafe, and several other Islamic clerics were at the ceremony.
Last week, Ajisafe had told Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, that it was the turn of a Moslem to emerge as governor of the state after the incumbent and his deputy, Mrs. Olusola Obada, both of whom are Christians, might have completed their eight-year tenure.
Specifically, Ajisafe recalled that Oyinlola had, in 2007, promised the Osun Moslem community the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2011 governorship election.
It will be recalled that while making his speech, Oyinlola denied that he promised the Moslem community the PDP's governorship ticket for 2011 election.
An ovation greeted the sermon delivered by Onilewura, who urged Moslems across the state not to vote for any Christian governorship candidate. “

Soon the Eel factor will be felt in religion as it is being felt in politics
Now misguided Yoruba Muslims are busy sowing seeds of Islamic radicalism just like misguided Awolowo sowed seeds of tribalism
Mark my words if this fundamentalism gathers momentum, the Eel characteristically will slip away.
As usual, the Igbo by virtue of their large presence in Yorubaland will end up victims of this emergent fundamentalism.
History is replete with such accounts

Jonathan and 2011 polls.

The president should remember that respect to rule of law and party constitution is not what one should throw away. He came with the late president Musa Yar' Adua as his vice and he equally know that his party, (PDP)had already zoned the ticket to the North. He should not be reminded of these. Lucky Igbinedion, the former governor of Edo State said it when Odili was also running in 2007 elections that the ticket was for the North. I believe in the truth and that has been the only thing we have failed to uphold since independence. If he runs, he will not remember anything that he has promised to do for Nigerians as he will be busy with how thje elections will be rigged for him to be there. He don't need any body to tell not to run in 2011 he knows he shouldn't.

Incomprehensive remarks!

Somadina Chukwuani.
You may think that we spend our precious time on this forum void. I am sorry you do not read our blueprints before writing your rejoinder.

Our blueprint is not to help rebuild Nigeria but to help it plunge wherever it chooses to end up. We are only interested in actualizing our home land Biafra. The bloods of over 3 million innocent people massacred during the genocide will never forgive us if we continue to chase the wind with our destroyers. We will not stop until justice is done. The justice we are clamouring for is to grant us a sovereign state of Biafra. Failing to do so will amount to incessant stalemate in the polity.

It is funny to think that you will ever build a better Nigeria with the Yoruba’s. You may wait for eternity that will never come.

Jonathan cannot perform magic within 3 days in office. He needs ample of time to build his government. If that requires his tenure exceeding from 2011, so be it. He has the right to elbow anybody who will not work for his interests. Whether he succeeds or not remains his personal problem. If he fails, Heaven will not fall down. After all, he is not the first president to fail Nigerians as many more will come and fail until Biafra is free.

Tiffany,
Uwazurike was released during the weekend so always get your facts right. You better not respond after this. As a liar, you will not like to be confronted with facts so have a nice day and wait for your anticipated heaven in Nigeria without first addressing the marginalization that is going on in Igbo nation.
