Abu Yusuf, a wise man indeed!!

That 90% of your people lives bellow poverty level is supposed to be a matter of your utmost concern. Only a fool abandons his real problem to snoop on issues that do not concern him

Many years after the Nigerian frivolous independence under your leadership, we can now count your wisdom and name them one by one. I have been to the North and saw how your supposed wisdom supersedes that of Igbos.

I do not expect Igbo haters to be happy with the truth. Whether you like it or not, the truth concerning Igbo history must be told at all time. In your mind, you will chose the Ikwerres to deny their Igbo origin so that you will continue to penetrate and reap where you never sowed. Maybe, you will be the first to deny your Hausa origin since the Hausas has failed to build a better Nigeria after many years in leadership.

You claimed to have slaughtered our brothers and fathers in their numbers and you are very proud to say it in a public forum.

You claimed how you bribed our politicians. To achieve what if I may ask you? Criminality? And how has that helped you? I need more of you on this forum to buttress your ignorance.

Because you saw people debating on this forum, you want to join the bandwagon?
What is the direction for your locomotive and myopic argument?

You better look for your type in the (Gworo) market and discuss with them. Exchanging words with your type will amount to time wasting.

By the way, who is this Danladi that forbids Igbo Language in a public forum? He wrote as follows.

Doing this will make people suspicious of your motive…………………..Danladi Musa

Na wah for you oh.

I cholu ka anyi kwusi isu asusu Igbo? Ifugokwanu ife?

Yes, I have spoken Igbo once again so that you will be more suspicious of our motives than ever. Our motive is not a secret. Give us Biafra and you will be free. Ask the Egyptians what they went through until the day they allowed the Israelites to be free.

I love this

Ahh,
At last I have the opportunity to let out steam.
Even the most backward and most illiterate of Nigerians is also joing the fray to attack Ndigbo.
Wonders shall never end

Abu Yusuf

You that were so afraid of the Igbo that you went round Nigeria begging other tribes to join you in fighting Ndigbo.
Till today, you people still tremble with fear at the mere mention of Ojukwu's name.
If you are as strong as you claim, then hold a real census.
Do away with quota system.
Do away with federal character.
Stop depending on FG for survival.
You people are so weak.
Nigeria is a showcase for your total failure.
The most backward parts of Nigeria are home to Hausa/Fulani despite years and years of looting Nigeria dry
What a shame!!!

I advise you to liberate yourselves from the shackles of your Arabs masters before you talk about what you did to Igbo.
Arab footstool

SEMOLINA or samodina

Ask your father how we slaughter them like ram. Ask your mother how we bought your leaders with penny and they sold you to us. Ask your dim how we used him and dump him. You want more? Sege dan banza.

You are only a lost fool!.

Tell me where Igbos failed and Hausa succeeded if not mismanagement of our resources. Tell me where Igbos failed and Nigeria succeeded. This forum is not a place you and your likes could just open your gworo teeth and talk with dwarf intelligence.
The crux of the matter is, we dont want this one Nigerian, if we would not be given our rights. When you hate a person, allow him/her to leave, PERIOD!

Time shall tell.

Ojukwu, MASSOB celebrate Biafra Day

Leader of the defunct Republic of Biafra and Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, will this Sunday storm the sleepy town of Ahiara in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government of Imo State to make another declaration on the occasion of 40th anniversary of the historic Ahiara declaration where he outlined the principles of the Biafran revolution during the Nigerian-Biafran civil war ON June 1, 1969.

Ojukwu will be accompanied to the venue by the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, who had sworn to accomplish the mission Ojukwu started by actualizing the defunct Biafra Republic within the frame work of his non-violent movement.

The ceremony where Ojukwu will feature is being packaged by a group of Christians called League of Elders said to be championing reconciliation among Nigerians ahead of the Golden Jubilee anniversary of the country, otherwise christened by the group as Jubilee year.

It was gathered that the association has organized similar forum in Abuja where Nigerian former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon featured and prayed for the unity of the country.

Although the Ahiara event has as one of its agenda, prayers for the progress of the nation but it was not clear the type of pronouncements Ojukwu will make on the occasion especially as the event will mark the 40th anniversary of the historic Ahiara declaration.

A member of the League of Elders who spoke to Daily Champion on condition of anonymity declined comment on Ojukwu’s participation but simply said that great things will happen on that day.

Meanwhile, MASSOB leader Ralph Uwazuruike yesterday confirmed to Daily Champion that he will be in company of Ojukwu to Ahiara. He stated that Ojukwu’s declaration speech at Ahiara has no precedent and regretted that forty years after, the ills he spoke about are still prevalent in the Nigerian society.

The event will hold at the same sport in Ahiara where Ojukwu captivated men and women, old and young with his emotional and arousing speech two years after in struggle of oppressed Easterners to liberate them from the shackles Nigerian enslavement associated with brutal massacre of the Igbo in the North.

Attention: Onyemaechi and Forumites

Iam Onyekachi, a typical Igbo man From Biafra. I understood that a similar name: ONYEMACHI has become a member of this forum. As a brother, I sincerely welcome him but would like him to put a clause in his name so that the so called Jides & Co will know the difference between Onyekachi and Onyemaechi.

Iam optimistic that my request will be given a kind consideration in order to allow our fellow forumites to know who is who.
Thank you.

Our people say when a child points at a particular direction consistently.
If his father is not there, then his mother must be there.

Igbo issues dominate this forum because the Igbo question is central to Nigeria’s quest for a true federation and real nation state.
Igbo matters have been burning in Nigeria’s consciousness since 1966 and just won’t go away.
In any case, nobody stops you and a Musa or Abubakar from airing your own views in Hausa if you wish.

Comparing IBB whom you claim is a Yoruba man with the Ikwerre and SouthSouth Igbo identity crisis is digging at the surface. You need to exhibit more intelligence than that.
Nobody is forcing anyone to be Igbo.
We are just drawing a line between what stems from socio-political contradictions and what emanates from historical and cultural sources.
All we are saying for posterity’s sake is that those who want a different identity from Igbo should not spread falsehood as historical facts.
This particular matter began when a certain fellow Kachikwu Dibia asserted that Ikwerre was not Igbo and that Igbo should present incontrovertible proof that Ikwerres are Igbos.

Another Ikwerre man Amadi Worgu countered asserting that the claim that Ikwerre is not Igbo has no historical foundation. And that as far as he was concerned, he is an Igboman of Ikwerre extraction
I only buttressed the point by presenting proof in root words, expressions and similar experiences from my own part of Igboland.

For you to understand how we feel about this matter, you need to envisage a situation where Sokoto people or Daura people will after some serious life changing experiences like civil war, hatred from fellow country men or physical and material losses through genocide and massacres will begin declare that they were no longer Hausa/Fulani people.
That they were now a separate ethnic group; And in some cases, join the enemies of Hausa/Fulani in displaying hostility towards you.
Certainly, you are bound to respond in the same manner that we have done.
Salaam aleikum.

Amadi Ndam,
Ya dili gi mma nwokem.
Jisike n'oga di mma.
Olisebinigwe ga enyelu anyi aka.

Mr. Danladi, you seems not to understand the reasons why some people do respond on issues of identity. We have reasons to be worried becauses most of us who respond to this articles, whose aims are to distort history are part of the people being sold out. We are Igbos from South South. You cannot allow a paid agent to change your identity. so a rojoinder is inevitable.

You should not be worried about my writing in Igbo. I communicated to my Brother who is standing on the same trail with me. His from Delta State and I am from Rivers State. I want to let him know that I am well agglutinated with myself.

If you wish to understand what I wrote in Igbo please hire an interpreter or go and learn Igbo or forget it and do not question me. It was a personal mail addressed to Ezigbo onye Igbo.

RE:Origin of Ikwerre

Many Nigerians travel overseas and naturalize. Nobody is losing sleeping over them either. Many Yorubas are British citizens, but they are still Yorubas. IBB identifies with the North, you wrote, but not the Ogbomosho people rejecting their Ogbomosho origin.

People seeking to correct the state crafted identity crises sown amongst the Igbos are doing the right thing. The anomaly of the identity crises has to be corrected first. Any group in Igbo land is free to take decisions concerning who to identify with, but not based on distorted history.

I am happy to read in this forum contributions on the claims of Ikweres and other groups like them. I do hope that many Ikweres who , with certain degree of justification, reject their origin shall be better informed as the truth is made known.

I am also happy to read contributions in this forum written in Igbo language. It stirs a sense of pride in me. It raises hope that my beautiful language is alive and kicking. BBC airs programs in what they call Hausa service. Igbo man has never questioned if BBC is an Hausa broadcasting station.

Pick what is meant for you and discard others. That's the right attitude to adopt in this forum. The more people betray their hatred of Igbos in this forum, the more they read things to counter their nasty opinions against us.

Speak/write your language. I speak/write mine. When the need arises, we go foreign.

Bye bye ooooo.

Origin of Ikwerre

I have read lots of articles about the origin of Ikwerre people. This is the deal, if a group of people failed to identify with their origin so to say, so be it. IBB is an Ogbomosho man by family origin, but the guy is identifying with the north. The Yorubas never loss sleep about him. Why must you guys calling the Ikwerres igbo disturbing yourselves?
Thats reminds me, this forum is not an igbo forum, please stop writing in igbo. Doing this will make people suspicious of your motive.

jonathan and family under scrutiny....

No attempt to bring first family down, but I've CONSISTENTLY seen irresponsibility on the part of Jonathan and his wife!

Patience Jonathan acts very much like the arrogant, hot-tempered Kenyan first lady, too bad!!

Jonathan has a lot of corrupt team around him. So, Nigeria will have to wait a little more for a responsible man at the helm!!

Jonathan believes that Nigerian leaders are there to party along... no matter the situation!

Check my last year's comment whereby I said that Jonathan would be a corrupt and irresponsible president! Why?

Because he kept silent when the Nigerian legislative house voted to build him, then as VP, a 7-billion naira mansion! It was then that I knew that the man is very very insensitive!!!

Just tell me, what's the wisdom in a so-called first lady who begins trotting the globe to shop for jewelries! Where is her brain? When did Yar'Adua die? When did her husband assume presidential office? If she's become a golden and diamond obssessd woman overnight, why couldn't she send a confidant for such a delicate erand?

Don't ever mind Jonathan's rhetorics; he's OBJ's boy!!!!

Nigeria with poor leaders: quite unforfunate!!!!

I still believe that the right man for the job is still out there!!!
