Nigerian election

Your country was once a jewel of the Africa like other places were........it has gone cause of people always judging and making comments and talking too much and letting others guide them instead of taking their own coutry their pride and work together......they let the corruption be.......now they cannot live without it.....

I think right now by reading your posts, that people even argue with themselves bringing contention on the board....instead of working together to find a solution..... it is easy to complain and to make judgement about our leaders and every one, every one of you are sitting behind their computer but when tell me the pride of Africa will hold hands and take action....when?? Do you want to be slave in your own country being submit to the bad the worst, believe me you are not alone in that situation, it is experience in other countries our continent.

I mean would you need another civil war and see thousands and thousands or your friends and family be killed to get together in a unity to work something else.... The greatest power you got is God, He knows and He is with you.

Every part of the world knows about your situation and start to remember when did it start really......when was the first time you lost control on your country.....where are your roots, your pride, your rights, your human rights, you are entitle to have a better life in your country and make that same country be a rich and productive one..you have ressources you are all great and positive person, you got degrees you got a marvellous potential.....but do not let a corrupt governement guide you. do not loose your soul at the profit of a bad election...

Nigerian like all others African are worth to live free on a land of their ancestors....to make this land be theirs.....not to figth for it....but to own it with love and pride.

I will pray for you, but I will not walk for you,

Knowing what you are doing in Iraq, we would not be taken aback on your recent comment that you are ready to work with Yar'adu's Government.YOur concern is not a free and fair election but who will be a puppet to your Govt. You are nothing but blood suckers that gains from the misfortune of Others.

Protest

Protest is a spice that flavours a democratic institution. It is the only time, means and method the suffering folks tender their objection to injustice and express their will for a positive change.Only the commons change an evil society to a better one and the only way they do it is a protest. Protest is a formal declaration whereby a person expresses a personal objection or disapproval of an act.

A protest is generally made to save some right that would be waived unless a negative opinion was expressly voiced. Only the peoples enemies and the ignorant are against the only method people use to change the ills in their nation

Give Nigerians what they need , not what they want

I can not figure out why Nigerian should be calling for violence when the road to peace is already in placed. Their are few people causing problems in our country, we the people that sees the faults of the present day leaders should not shout and course strife in the country. We should bring out our talent to educate ourselves on the need to grow from our present stage in developments and invest our development talents binding it with self sacrificing to make positive impacts in the actualizations of the Nigerian dreams. We have been patience with the military during the days of Buhari and idiagbon to babangida and akhomu to abacha and mike akhibge even till abdulsalami abubaka.so why cant we just see the transformation from one civilian to another civilian government in good faith despite our shortcomings?. I have advice the president elect Mr. yar adua to make sure the electoral tribunal handling the states were election was massively rigged in the governorship levels to address the issue with justice and install the winners of the respective states. But as for the president elect,he should be inaugurated on 29th may because the losers didn’t claim they won the election but only cried out the election was program to favor PDP.Mr yar adua should also focus on Nigeria and not the PDP the best medicine to exonerates his unpopular mandate is to listen to the voice of Nigerians and give Nigerians what they need and not what they want.we should not be comparing our democrasy with over countries who has build there democary over a century were we are just 40,if you are affraid you may not be alive in the next fifty or hundred years when nigeria will be a world best in development and technology remember the next generations of nigerian will remeber us that happends to be alive to face this stage of nigeria development.im glad to be a nigeria.

Attention: Concern Nigerian

While no one advocates violence, what is the next option that you are proposing? Demostration has been banned in a democratic setting by OBJ and his lap dog Ehindero with a shoot at sight order.
What are the options?
Election:- With stuffing ballot boxes?
Court/Tribunal:- They never obey their judgement?
Senate/NAS:- Full of selfish contractors?
Governors: Glorified OBJ spokepersons in their states?

Tell us what this option is, I want to hear it.

Answer to Fool's Question

Please I am not calling you a fool. Fools, is actually what you called yourselves. You were asking about if what happened to Mr Good luck is something to be happy about?
No sensible person likes violence and on average, most Nigerians hated violence but it seems that those amiable qualities of us had been know by our rulers and manipulators and they are quite happy in exploiting it all the time.
Our rulers believe they can do anything and get away with it and as long as they pretend by preaching an emergency peace. They won't allow us to demonstrate peacefully, they won't allow us to air our view because they control all the electronics Medias. They use police to brutalise us even if you protest in stack nakedness. They laugh at your back when they tell you to go to court, knowing that whatever the court pronouncement was, they are not going to obey it or there is Bayo Ojo to give it his personal touch or interpretations.
So what has the people left with but taking thing into their hands? What happens to Jonathan is just the beginning of things to come especially when the rest of Niger Delta will realise in a couple of months that they have been duped by the northern oligarchy/OBJ alliance again.
If by May 29th Andy Uba for instance is imposed on Anambra/Igbo nation, what then do you expect people to do. PDP and OBJ understand fully well the saying that when a man went into a land dispute empty handed, they that had their crop handy will be busy planting, while the talking is going on. They believe as long as they a ruling us; you can waste your time as you like in tribunal just as they did with Peter Obi.

Akokaudo M: Tell Us the Job of the Opposition

It was childish of you to attack Ejiofor for voicing his concern. You claimed that the opposition is turning Nigerian to into what you had described but you have failed to tell us what the job of opposition is. You are one of those that preach reconciliation after robbery, those that preach peace to a man after killing his aspiration and stole his future. You preach moving forward after committing crime against the person you wanted to move.

PDP tactic is to rig the election and the preach peace they nothing about later. Call those you robbed to join your govt and pretend to be the peaceful statesman. The end doesn’t always justify the means. Some believe that as long as you are successful thief but who goes to church and give a 10th of it, whoever this god is will be quite happy with you.

Yar Adua, we had been bombarded that he is a good man by those that selected him but he is busy keeping what doesn't belong to him. A bugler is no worse that the man that keeps or buys stolen goods. What kind of a good man accepts a mandate of a rigged election? Or has the meaning of a good man changed.
They said he is prudent but will any indexes put Yar Adua as one of the performing governors after eight years in office. What has Katsina has today that they don't have 8 years ago? Is it running water, equipped hospital and hence his decision to treat catarrh in far away Germany.
The opposition has right of protest against Yar Adua and those he represents. Protest is not the same as rioting. With minds like you, Nigerians cannot not even talk now without police permits and we are still living in democracy?
Any nations that lack appetite to protest injustice done to them and pursue it to its logical conclusion deserve the kind of ruler they get.

Perry, are you happy to what happen to Goodluck Jonathan? I pity you.

Do you think that the Militants are fighting for Niger Delta or for their selfish interest of their own pockets? Please I want to hear from you.

No to violence

All of you that are calling for violence are crazy and worse than Obasanjo and Iwu that you condemn. When on earth have u seen that violence effectively resolves a problem. Some of you even have the heart to ask that poloticians families should be the next target. Does it ever occur to you that some of them may not even agree with what their political relatives are doing or that children of wicked politicians do not have much option than to watch what their parents do to the country in the name of politics.

While I share with the sentiments some of you have about the condition of Nigeria - and I mean every aspect of Nigeria existence, violence is never the key and in all violent situations, innocent people are alwys worse hit.

If this does not stop you cawrdly asking dor violence, then throw the first stone at the fore front and with your immediate and extended family behind you, then I will support you from behind them.

While as Nigerians, we are all tired of seeing our country decay before our very eyes and watch how wicked politicians steal from us in broad day light, we should consider other options tackling the situation, as violence never pays.

LEGISLATORS SHOULD BE THE NEXT TARGET

If you have been following the charade that happens in the senate, you would conclude with me that they are not there for National interest but for what they can make from the position. The discussion that was supposed to be in the senate on the way this last election was conducted by Iwu and his cohorts was called off because some beneficiaries of Iwu's "Abrakadabra" have filled the senate. They outnumber the real Nigerian patriots and make good reasoning for our national growth impossible. If this present senate does not over-ride Obasanjo's veto to the FOI bill and pass it into law before they leave this June, I call upon Patriotic Nigerians to visit them the way Goodluck Jonathan has been visited.Let their own re-payment extend to their children, family, and relatives. Total destruction this time. God no go vess.

POLITICAL REVOLUTION

Nigerians cry because they have been made slaves in their own land by few political idiots. This is not the time to talk for the sake of talking but the time to act. The action has already started with what happened to Jonathan Goodluck, the so-called VP. Now, this revolution should be continued for this is the best way to get our feelings known. We have talked enough, written enough, and got little or no solution from the Judiciary, legislature and the worst ,the executive. Now,all patriotic Nigerians should learn to be violent and non-blood fearing. Bomb the politicians if you can. Destroy their properties if you can. Bomb their houses if you can. Kill their children if you can.But remember not to kill the just and never leave any trace behind. We are on the right track to get our Nigeria back. The pace has been set with Goodluck Jonathan and the killed policemen.

Red-hot charcoal given to Yar'adua

Since the campaign rallies started, I have been wodering what the outcome of the Obasanjo/Yar'adua alliance would be.I used to see Yar'adua as a responsible and clever man, but his involvement in stealing Nigerian's Presidency has dumbfounded me. Obasanjo is a very clever man no matter what people say about him. By clever, I mean "clever rogue". He wanted to play safe by shifting power to the north as PDP agreed with him in 2003. That doesn't mean he really liked that. He wanted to put to a permanent stop what Atiku might do to him should he succeed him as president. All this Obasanjo/Yar'adua charade is to collide Atiku's head with that of his brother Yar'adua just to divert Atiku's possible counter attack. But Yar'adua ought to have known this. He accepted this and now pleads to palley with Atiku again. I am of the opinion that Atiku should fight to the finish with this stolen mandate Yar'adua has. That does not mean that Nigerians want Atiku anyway. He has a corrupt mind, no matter what people may say.Buhari may not be better either. But Nigerians should reclaim their stolen mandate from Obasanjo's toy boy, Yar'adua. He (Yar'adua) has already started feeling the heat of the unprecedented and sudden rapour with Obasanjo. He will regret ever knowing Obasanjo.
