reply to "Sunday"

Hello Sunday, I understand how you feel about the future of Nigeria. But I want to tell you that your likes are the people that are pulling the development of Nigeria backwards. When you start asking what Soyinka, Enahoro, Labour leaders have done for Nigeria when they shout everytime to sensitize people on the need to open their eyes and see what our leaders are doing with our resources and future, I wonder what more they can do when they don't control the police, sss, and the military. Better wake up from your slumber for your children and grand children to see a better Nigeria.cry when others cry, shout when others shout, fight when others fight. Your future lies in your hands.

Weak senate

I will see how the present senate will finally rest the matter with Obj signing the FOI(freedom of information) bill or over-riding his veto. We know they are bundles of cowards that accept inducements in almost every matter. I wonder how and why Obj could cage the likes of NNamani, Arthur Nzeribe, etc. Now, they want to sweep the FOI bill under the carpet and go by June. So, what have they achieved for Nigeria since they can't use their power for once. Is this Obasanjo their God?I wonder!

IWU THE FOOL

Iwu the so-called INEC chairman does not even look at himself in the mirror to see how foolish, unreasonable and unwise he is before Nigerians. For him to have stuffed his bank account with Nigerian money and conducted the worst election in the his history of Nigeria and still have the guts to resist senate's probe into his stealing. He should hide his face in shame. I wonder if he has a family that likes making good name. As for Iwu, he is a forgotten fool already.Let us watch how the senate will finally fall for Iwu as they used to bow down when Obasanjo coughs. What a shame!

If !

If Nigeria has more of Soyinka and Enahoro, Nigeria would have been better.Whenever I read the statements of these two statesmen, I realise how patriotic , realistic and reasonable they are. Moreover, they are devoid of religious delusion which dominates the thinking faculty of most Nigerians. Even when they are devils in the mask of Jewish God or Arabs Allah. My kudos to these two statesmen. Gani was also good but he fumbles these days.

Senate suspends Obasanjo’s nominations

Why did it take the senate too long a time to come to its senses? Or ghana-must-go bags stopped flowing?

Obasanjo’s Aides in Sit-tight Drama

It will take just one pronouncement after inauguration to make them take to their heels.

NDDC needs N6.25trn to impact on N-Delta — Alaibe

Call in EFCC and see how much can be recovered from NDDC directors starting with you, and PDP members to whom you have been awarding phony contracts.

If you have this amount, will you accept that it is your (and Niger Delta state governments’) responsibility and not that of oil companies to develop the oil producing communities or you will again pocket the money and watch the Niger Delta burn, capitalizing on the ignorance of the people? For you, governors and the presidency, it is convenient to point accusing fingers at oil companies, while the people’s money (13% derivation and NDDC funds) is being shared among yourselves.

Some of you (NDDC directors) are richer than some states, and your target must be to get richer than some geopolitical zones. But governments, NDDC, etc. will be the biggest losers if the oil and gas industry is completely paralised. Nemesis will catch up with all of you soon. The oil and gas companies will not be as badly hit. A word is enough for the wise.

Kupolokun asks oil workers to shelve strike

NNPC staff or oil workers? We are becoming too shameless in this country. The Group MD of a lameduck (NNPC) that cannot run refineries or produce >5k barrels of crude oil a day, is still a big man in Nigeria. Where else would he have lasted more than three months in office, not to talk of having the guts to contribute to national issues, except Nigeria where anything goes?

Re-2007 Election

John I dont agree with you that we should rig elections senslessly as it happened because of the fact that there is no perfect election. People like you will always look for means to justify illegality. If Nigeria so much care to emulate or copy what other do, why must it always be the negative part. Why cant we copy nations and govts that provide stable economy, electricity, power supply, water, affordable and qualitative education, health care, etc for it citizen. Look, if you have nothing to say, keep quiet and dont try to justify illegality and fraud. What are we teaching the comming generation? That they should not cheat in WAEC and JAMB while they are living witnesses to the fraud being committed by our leaders and some Nigerians like John are trying to justify it.

Go Atiku and obasanjo

A new leader could be pardoned for mistakes and missteps, Mr man; not for die-hard, old, yellow-toothed, mediocre dictators! The mistakes this time around were not just few, but piles and piles of them. Do not defend anyone who takes you for granted, loots your treasury, and calls you a big fool!!
