Kalu

Mr Kalu then reportedly returned to Lagos and flew out of the country - BY BBC

If Kalu is on the run , then there is danger in Nigeria. All the oppositions on the run. Atiku is probably out of the country. A nation where opposition is silenced, intimidated, arrested and punished is known as a nation of despot.

Election / Selection & handover

For me the so called election that took place in Nigeria recently, particularly in my home state of Ondo, and a bandit being installed as governor in Oyo state leads me to think that we as black people indeed have a mentality comparable to apes. White people used to hold this view, and they still do, and some of us used to get angry at being compared to baboons. But I can now say they are justified in holding this view. Look around us in Nigeria. Every where you look there are shortcomings. We cant organise ourselves or our society. There is chaos, disorder, anarchy. Thieves, whores, vagabonds, nonentities become local governmnet chairmen, governors, senators, house of representatives/assembly members. People vote for a candidate, but another is declared winner. In fact the whole place stinks to high heaven.
And someone who has been in the saddle for the past 8 years of this pigsty says he has no regrets. He is either blind, deluded, or just simply a joker.

GIVE PEACH CHANCE IN LAGOS STATE

l wonder why some people wants to crucify Asiwaju for all the bad happening in Lagos. To me Asiwaju has tried and God will bless him for that but dont let us forget that he’s a human being like us.....not perfect at all. Must we kill him for the sins committed by some devils in sheep clothing’s amongst us.
May Almighty Allah bless Asiwaju and give him a peaceful rest after leaving State House. We are going forward and forward we will go........Nigerians should always remember that nothing good comes easy.......most of these critics are the same people embezzling money, buying houses abroad for their girlfriends and wives., they will now come back to say Asiwaju is bad. Corrupt as if he’s Lagos State.
Even at the ministries its terrible........we need a revolution in this country but who is ready to carry guns...ARE YOU?..SO LETS COME TOGETHER AND WORK HANDS TO HANDS SO THINGS WORK OUT...Those that caned to it like Asiwaju should come out and stop criticizing in their closets. Our youths should talk to our parents..our parents.....even in political circle or not should change for the better. But for now...lets be positive about this issue cause things are gonna get better......lets not allow sentiments rule us.

I THINK I HAVE FUFILLED ALL MY PROHPESIES ON KALU

I think i have fufilled all my prophesies in Abia and Imo states, when you take a look on this forum if you can be sincere enough you will know and see that i have fufilled all my prophesies on Abia Imo and Chief Dr Kalu, starting from the day i entered this forum i dont think i have contributed enough to any other other than PPA,KALU, T.A ORJI and Imo politics, a lot of people had said all sort of things concerning the role iam playing in this forum on issues concerning KALU but the more they say the more my spirit is beeing straightened, iam not a pastor but i have one spirit in me that what ever i said and prayed for must surelly come to pass, for instace i warnned EFCC to stop harrassing Kalu and they seized, i prophesied that T.A will win Abia guber polls, i commanded the power that be as at yesterday to let t.a Orji go on my first time to comment on his detaintion and he was let go, i prophesied failure to ARARUME and it come to pass, i prophesied failure to former NDDC chairman and he failed and now he is crying foul, my advice to him is to go and rest he is a big disappointment to NDDC AND NDIGBO in general what did he do when he was NDDC chairman, he use his position there to enrich him self with out doing nothing in Imo and Abia talkless of other remaining 7 NDDC States, i,m saying it without fear or favour that Kalu remains BUSH , BILL GATES and BLAIR of my time Ndigbo have to know this that the young Kalu is something in Igboland, Kalu is the face of new generation in igboland and in nigeria whether you like it or not i will always say it, PPA was like a dead party nobody knows of it not untill Kalu entered into it early this year the party came back to life, any igboman today who feels that kalu is bad is doing so without reality, its only the enemies of ndigbo and federal hired guns that can see kalu as a bad person, iam not from Abia state but i thank God for giving indigbo a worthy son like Kalu, just 47 years on earth the little but mighty kalu is shaking the whole south east and nigeria at large with his popularity, My beloved IBB once said that kalu is the fastest growing politician in this country, if any igboman doubt it let him come out lets go to Okpara sqare Enugu and we will test him or her with Kalu, you see sometimes i use to look at OJUKWU and i can say anything agaisnt him because of the respect i have for him, but Ojukwu himself is disappointing me, OJUKWU is like God in igboland infact i dont know what to say because i made it as a vow not to castigate any one who is fighting for the right of igbos let me keep that aside but IKEMBA should wakeup he is not playing the role we expected him to play with his age now and i can tell you now that Kalu has taken that role daring devils and its cohorts, when you dare devil and its agents that means you say to them go to hell, as iam talking to you today iam not a university graduate but iam now in university by studying Kalu and when i finishe studying him then you will see another Kalu will come out of South east, i have been studying him for the last 7 years ago and as soon as iam through you will see that another younger OUK has emerged, but the diffrent is that mine will be NUK while Kalu,s own remains OUK, my prayers has been God give me power mind and straighnt to be like Kalu to fight for the right of igbos, my advice to the former NDDC chairman is for him to go and relax let him go and relax in his mantions with the bilions he stoled when he was the chairman of the commission, he is fighthing a lost battle, he was ashemed because he lost the guber polls though he has the right to challange Chief Orji,s victory but that should be in the trabunal not on pages of newspaper with unfounded allegations, before i go i want to use this hour to thank the court that granted T.A Orji bail yesterday, its victory upon victories and its just the begining, go through this forum if you are a doubting thomas you got to see my topics on all these issues i talked about today and you will indeed know that i have fufilled my prophesies on KALU, i have not gotten kobo from anybody in doing all these but i know that Kalu will remember me one day atleast take me as a mouthpiece or OTINKPU in his campaign for a better indigbo in scheme of things in Nigeria.
All the igbo people who are working against the general intrest of igbos you are warnned to desist from it or else i will course you all.
Thanks.

Sale Of National Assets

The decision to sell the country's assets by the outgoing government is funny.
If all the assets were sold before the present government took over what would they have inherited as assets. The President should know that government is a continous process and incoming governments should be given landing grounds to continue with governing bussiness and not to be given handicaps to lead to thier failure.
And for those that want us to forget and forge ahead. What of if PDP task Yar'adua not to ever handover the Presidency to a non-PDP member after his tenure? Then we shall continue with our arguements is that not so?

Dream on, brother Nick!

Dream on, brother Nick, dream on. Dream on, lover of his fatherland-Nigeria, dream on! A lot of honest Nigerians still see an immovable monster in the entire system. Before your new Nigeria is born, where will you keep all those corrupt rulers who have so much powerful influence with billions of petro dollars they've stolen from the treasury? The hydra-headed monster is just there! Nothing is gonna work!! Do you wanna bet? Dream on!!!

Thank you Nigerians

I appreciate the people's voice in this forum. I thank you all for your good comments and also this has shows that Nigerians now understand their lefts from their rights. We don’t have to capitalize on the mistakes of the out going administration. We shouldn’t bend our necks to see only the failures but also thank God that a new era is born. We all have the capacity to contribute to the growth of our country Nigeria. If an old man like obasanjo can do as little as we can see, other dynamic Nigerians are waiting to take this country foward.we should see the youngness of this democracy and improve our understanding to know that no young growing child can grow effectively without mistakes. We should not be fault finders we should see Good in every mistakes and renew our thinking abilities to learn from them. To grow is to be educated and the best teacher as they say is experience.

What goes around comes around II

The present political equation in Nigeria no doubts favoured the north with more states, more local councils, more representatives in the nation's assembly so as to be able to control every national debate, and of course, more grants from the nation's purse. All as a result of proxy and no near truth census every now and then, all to cheat the hell out of other less privileged regions and keep power which they have become so intoxicated along. For those of us who out of sheer ignorance has continued to describe as bravery and cleverness, the current evil, unpatriotic, selfish and unproductive political strategy of the north should as well take it upon themselves that by such senseless actions, they're indirectly supporting and promoting evil and bad governance.

What is happening in Nigeria all these while is wrong, it has not brought anything good even to those who champions or claimed to have benefited from it. We're reaping the fruits of bad arrangement. We need a new constitution with more emphasis on good governance and welfare of the people rather than all those nonsense merely to promote self ego and bad leadership. "Any person wishing to be elected Nigerian president should not be declared bankrupt". Bankrupt of ideas or money? Since it's money, everyone must try to steal as much as possible since it's all what it takes to become the president.

There was no place where it's quoted that it's the responsibility of the government to provide free medicare to the people. There's no place where it's written that basic infrastructures should be provided to the people. Instead, it was much about sharia, immunity and power ascension - who qualified and who did not qualified. Why not reduce the condition to obtain a political office only to true citizenship? Do away with all these litigations afterwards. What of if those disqualified today as a result of bad omen and error are the very right people to correct the wrongs of today through better governance?

If I'm sad with the north, it's for making Nigeria what it is today where nothing works. Where an expert is made to serve under a less qualified person because of his ethnicity. For deliberately creating more states and local councils so as to dictate for the rest of the country. Yes, I' sad for such evil arrangements that has brought shame to all of us, and I wish to have it remedied.

Nigerian Nation

I refuse to beleive that Nigeria problem is as a result of power being in the north. What of the last 8 years that power was controlled by a southerner? Just as you have righly said, unless we restrain from overflogging the issues of region, ethnicity, religion, beleif etc and look on qualities of individual it will be difficult for us to get there. More over the major problem is the way our leaders handle the citizens without care. Those that reject any government policies are tagged enemies, coupist, disgruntled elements by those in government and their supporters. In a society where common wealth is meant for very few, and the masses refused to fight for what belong to them, evil people will always find their ways to the top. If we refuse to act but keep waiting for God to come down because of Nigeria, I am afraid it may be far from reality.

What goes around comes around!

Recently I was deliberating on Nigerian shenanigans, and suddenly, the issue of nationhood propped up; what has Nigeria done for me as a (worthy) citizen? The answer as you correctly guessed was nothing. And, I tried to reverse the same question by replacing Nigeria with the very country of my current residence; the simple answer was that, she gave me education to the tune of doctorate and satisfactorily, which is important. For the close to fifteen years I've lived in the country, there have never been a day their education system was put to hold in the name of strike or closure as the case in Nigeria.

From my student days to whatever class I may belong today, I've virtually enjoyed 90% free medicare. Electricity have never been interrupted for one day. Their transport system if I should go ahead to write-down what I know rather than what I think, the guilt of punishing my readers may have spare us the time-cost. Every necessary infrastructure is functioning at least 99%. And, to say the least, the cozy reception I have been enjoying from their embassy whenever I'm in the country is incomparable to what any Nigerian embassy can offer to her own natural citizens.

Should I renounce my citizenship and forget about this f-country I finally asked? NO, that will be like asking the Igbo man to get united in their quest to conquer power in Nigeria which is practically impossible. Any effort to emulate the north in this regard can only amount to weakness and total surrender. The war for the soul of Nigeria continues. Any person who thinks that the present day north made up of 19 states plus Abuja against the 17 states in the south are much clever should better hold his/her breath. I really do not wish to bring God to this current Nigeria, I shortly pray to remind people about the hundreds of years the Israelites may have spent in exile in Egypt!

If ever we need a strategy, it should not be whatever the north is doing currently, their energy is almost exhausted. Or the magical strategy that brought Obj to power after MKO has been sacrificed? Never, great events do not practically repeat itself for its remedy must have been brewed subsequently. The ongoing fragility in the Niger delta I belt is the last option any sensible Igbo man will dare trade on; we already had enough of that with much impunity. The issue of sit at home during elections as I've heard from different quarters recently is also not the right answer to national problems.

The only solution to the current power dominance by the core north will be the need to destroy ethnicism in Nigeria. Second, promote a leadership system based on meritocracy as been yawned by the republican Igbos, we need a leader even though it may not come in the form of Asikiwe, Awolowo, Tafawa or Dee Mbakwe because of time factor or in other words; 21st century life. We should love Nigeria from the bottom of our hearts, preach peace and unity of the country, show it through action rather than body-politics as being witnessed today.

Have a sense of leadership through which the best brains in the country could be assembled. Bring the best of Nigeria for Nigerians and the rest of the world to enjoy. This sort of leadership no matter where he must have come from, be it the majority or minority, will earn the love of all Nigerians, and together with the support of our friends who regrettably gave power to the north, shall join us to dethrone them and return power to whom it rightly belongs.
